Why Felicity Joll chose Weybourne
Satara Cottage has recently been built - in August 2016. It is a quiet & secluded location, but still very close to the village center (2 mins walk). The famous Weybourne 'pebbly' beach is a lovely 10 mins walk from the cottage. Weybourne is a very special village to visit throughout the year - there are loads of activities during the summer season, bird watching during the autumn & spring, and of course lovely long walks on the beach after a cosy pub lunch during the winter!
What makes this Cottage unique
- Private garden underneath our large horse chestnut & oak trees; - private access to the cottage - private, offroad parking - Short breaks are welcomed throughout the year; we do not have a 7 day minimum stay policy - Underfloor heating throughout the cottage - Wall mounted electric heater - Dishwasher & washing machine - Free WiFi - Welcome hamper can be ordered from the Village Store & delivered to the cottage prior to arrival - Starter kit given on arrival - spacious cottage, with modern fixture & fittings - but in keeping with the Norfolk flint cottage style

Quirky design modern property which works. Excellent facilities and the owner has provided everything you might need and some.

Weybourne is a pretty coastal village located on the North Norfolk coast. Not only is the village a part of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a designated conservation area, but it boasts the ruins of an Augustinian priory stand in the grounds of the 15th century church. The beach consists of pebbles and marks the start of the cliff section of the Norfolk coast. Weybourne is a haven for walkers, birdwatchers and fishermen alike, and it is well located for days out in the area. The population of Weybourne is less than 600 and comprises largely of local residents, although it is very popular with holiday makers during the summer season. The village itself boasts a well stocked Village Store/Delicatessen, a newly renovated & popular pub, a military museum and a church. Up the road is the famous Poppy Line - North Norfolk rail steam engines.
