Beautiful villa with a great ocean-view
We (three couples) had a great holiday in this villa. The sea-view is amazing, the villa itself is recently built and offers all modern facilities (dishwasher, 3 bathrooms, et cetera). Also, the host was very helpful and responded quickly on all our questions. The beach is just 5 mintues walking away and the public transport in Andora is good too (we went by bus to a couple of beaches and took the train to Monaco / Ventimiglia). We really recommend this place.
Area with high tourist attractions, renowned for its seaside life, shopping, with numerous possibilities for food and wine tourism and cultural visits. ample opportunities for sport and outdoor life
The attractions of Liguria are many and all with a special charm. Some, however, for their uniqueness and for their historical-naturalistic value have been declared, by UNESCO, a World Heritage Site.
One of the UNESCO sites is located in Genoa, a multi-faceted city where the ancient mixes with the modern, the history with the contemporary, the colors with the shadows. A city that belongs to the sea as the sea belongs to it, where culture, places, cuisine and palaces still tell the ancient maritime republic today. An atmosphere that still breathes walking through the "carruggi", narrow alleys that draw the ancient part of Genoa. Here are the New Streets and the complex of the Palazzi dei Rolli, an extraordinary 16th century urban plan built to offer hospitality to politicians and noblemen. The "rolli" were the public registers from which the patrician residences that had to host the state visits were drawn.
Palazzo Spinola di Pellicceria with precious paintings by Rubens, Van Dyck and Bernardo Strozzi, Palazzo Lercari Parodi, Palazzo Campanella, Palazzo Podestà are some of the beautiful Renaissance buildings that can be admired by visiting this unique place of its kind.
The visit to Genoa must necessarily include a stop at the Aquarium, one of the most complete and technologically advanced structures in Europe for the discovery of the sea planet. The Aquarium was designed by the famous Italian architect Renzo Piano and already the view from the outside is, in itself, a show not to be missed. Inside, the Aquarium houses in a huge pool variously arranged and behind large windows a marine people to be discovered: dolphins, seals, sharks and colorful fish of all shapes, which are a breathtaking sight for both adults and children.
