Overview

About the property

House, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

This 13th century, two-story home in the center of the medieval borgo that surrounds the Odeschalchi Castle has been completely renovated eight years ago. It is made up of a double bedroom with small sitting room with fireplace and full bath (shower) on the first floor floor, and a kitchen-dining/living room on the second floor. Here there is a double sofabed for 2 persons.

An extra single bed can be added, if needed.

On top of it all, there is a roof-top terrace, giving a 360° view of the lake, the castle and the 'borgo'.

The house is less than ten minutes away on foot to the commuter train station to Rome, a half hour walk to the lake, and two minutes to the castle. Shops and restaurants abound and are all within easy walking distance.

Charming House

We found this charming house to be very comfortable and nicely located. We could walk to everything. The kitchen and bathroom were well appointed and user friendly. Our host was very helpful and kind. It was a relaxing, very enjoyable visit. We highly recommend it!

Hidden Gem

  • 5 of 5

It wouldn't let me set the date that far back. We stayed in August 2012 before returning to the US. My husband and 3 girls were more than well taken care of during our stay in Italy. I really, really loved feeling like an "authentic" Italian by doing laundry by hand and hanging it on the roof to dry! We bought fans for the rooms and slept with the windows open as the air was a bit humid and warm. The owners treated us to a wonderful dinner at a well known pizza place in Bracciano before we left. If you're looking for an amazing place to stay that isn't far from transit systems that get you to Rome, I highly suggest this place!

Lovely!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I just spent a week in this lovely apartment. It has all of the amenities you could want ... plus a fabulous roof top deck that over looks Lake Bracciano. We spent every night sitting up there watching the beautiful sunset with a glass of wine. During our visit to Bracciano, we took a day trip to Rome, a day trip to Anguillara, a boat tour of the lake, and toured the wonderful castle that is right next to this apartment. There is also a cozy and delicious restaurant right around the corner - Hug ... It's a must try place! Bracciano is a quiet little Italian town that everyone should visit at least once ... and, you won't be disappointed if you stay in this apartment while there. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Insoddisfatto

Soggiorno a Bracciano

  • 5 of 5

Belles vacances

  • 5 of 5
