Live like a Parisian in the most charming area of Paris. The apartment is located in a very safe district. Walk 100m up and you are at the Sacré Coeur. Walk 100m down and you have all the shops and fancy restaurants. It is 100 m away from the Montmartre vineyards in a quiet street . We are at the beginning of the stairs leading to the Sacré Coeur.
The two apartments are located in a quiet and typical Montmartre dead end. They are situated at the 3rd and 4th and floor of a small and typical Montmartre building. The building is very quiet (few cars in the dead end) and very sunny. At spring time you only hear the birds.

This apartment is on the 4th floor for us Americans (3rd floor for French) which is accessed by stairs. The building is nice and quiet. The street is quiet and there is easy access to lots of yummy restaurants and stores. We really enjoyed being in a neighborhood with visits to bakery, butcher, cheese store, small grocery, etc. The apartment has 4 rooms: bedroom with bed for 2 facing street, living room/dining room facing street, second bedroom with bed for 2 with bathroom facing inside, kitchen facing inside. (The bathroom is accessed via one of the bedrooms and the living room has a sleeper sofa) The metro number 12 is a short walk away. Communication was great and it was easy to check in and out.
Staying June 1st to 5th, 2016. We are a family of 5, with three kids (youths). Definitively a good choice to look for a flat. Rather than hotel, in Paris, more flexibility, more space, more convenient. Monmartre has been a good place to stay. Nice place to have easy walks around also in the evening when you are tired after a long visiting day. Mostly because our flat was nearby the Sacre Coeur and the charmy neighbourhoods. Regretfully, I cannot say the overall area was clean. Quite dirty streets and excrements on every corner. It’s a pity. However, let’s talk about the flat. Good choice, plenty of space for the family, all the commodities you may need for a short staying. In general I found it reasonably clean. Clean kitchen. Clean bathroom. Clean lines. Making a correlation age / usage / services I score it worth. When arrived, I followed the instructions given by the owner. Everything matching and precise. Nice organization. The flat we had was the one at the 4th floor. Surely tiring to get up as there is no elevator but, I would say, it’s part of the fun from a certain prospective. Surely better to be the last one rather than having someone else above you maybe with lack of care when walking inside. We tried to pay respect by not using shoes inside and paying attention not to make hit. No complains about neighbourhoods or noises. I didn’t meet Tristan but he was prompt in replying and providing me with info whenever needed via e-mail or sms. If I’m allowed to make a comment, the only part I did not find very clean was the sofa-bad when we set if for sleeping. I deem the cleaning service you pay found some shortcuts to be faster!. However, nothing major. We arrived from CDG airport via TopParisTransfer. 70€ well spent considering the cost with other options Vs logistic and time to get there. The nearby station of Lamark is fundamental. With the line 12 via switches you can get everywhere in a short time. We bought the ParisVisit card. Winning choice indeed. Return of investment is really short. All around there are many places where to eat, to buy food, pastries, baguettes or, to eat outside. So, in the end, apart from the week we chose was not the best one (bad weather and the Sein flooding!) I score the experience positive and I would recommend the flat we used to others.
Montmartre is a quaint little area which is very close to the Sacre Coeur church. It is very accessible from the metro line. I love this little town with it's coffee shops and bistros. It sits on a hill that offers a perfect view of Paris. Eiffel tower is visible at night.
The apartment is lovely and has all the amenities that we needed. It is clean and big enough to accommodate 5 adults. If given the chance, we will stay at this apartment again. I highly recommend this apartment.
Excellent apartment. Really big apartment. Tristan was amazing and gave us thorough details on how to arrive and check in to the apartment. He answered EVERY email so promptly. Apartment has a well equipped kitchen, complete with Nespresso maker! Two bedrooms and a HUGE living/dining room. The local shops were a great source of delectable pastries, bread, and groceries. And wine. Montmartre is just up the hill. Be SURE to eat at L'Ete de Pente Douce up the hill for lunch after a visit to Montmartre. Truly memorable lamb. The only drawback was that the washing machine did not work properly, but other than that, everything was excellent and we would stay there again. Subway was very close and convenient. We came at Christmas, with our 17 and 20 year old daughters, and having the two bedrooms was really nice.
We found everything as described on Homeaway. It is a flat in the middle of Montmartre, but nevertheless surprisingly quiet. It takes you about 5-10 minutes walking to get to Sacre Coeur or a Metro-station.
Everything was clean and well maintained. Tristan (owner or manager) provided excellent service.
We can only strongly recommend the flat. However you should not rent it if you have difficulties climbing stairs. The flat is on the 3rd floor and there is no lift.
We have just returned from a great business trip in Paris, which was made all the better by staying at this wonderfully stylish, peaceful and comfortable apartment in a fantastic location. At the end of long days we were able to gather our thoughts and get some good rest. Amazing restaurants and zinc bars are on the door step, as is the metro, but situated in a backwater location, we had the best of both worlds. Everything was spotlessly clean and the owner was informative and helpful, which gave us the reassurance we needed whilst we were working flat out in Paris over 6 days. We look forward to staying here again. A Bientot!
There is no place more romantic than Montmartre. Look at the map and notice that the apartment is ideally located to discover Montmartre while walking: Sacré Coeur, vineyards, the "place du Tertre", The "Abesses" area, the Lepic street and the coffee of Amélie.
I've been living in Paris for 40 years. I'm currently living in the 9th arrondissement with our 3 daughters (Opéra) but it's still a very particular feeling every time I walk and have fun when trying to lose myself in Montmartre. Montmartre is a village in the city. Out of time. As if time had stopped. You need to live there to understand that such unusual atmosphere. Wonder in the streets as if you were in San Francisco, step up the stairs, discover the houses, the vineyards, the narrow streets and the corner shop owners.
It is also perfect to visit Paris by walking. 100m way, you will find the Lamarck Caulaincourt station, line 12. You are 10 min away from Concorde and 15 min from St Germain des Près.
