Lovely Kestrel Cottage stay.
Lovely stay from start to finish. Excellent hosts and beautiful property in excellent location to see the amazing Peaks. Great touches such as flowers, wine, eggs and cake on arrival along with a wonderfully stocked house. Recommend to anyone looking for a luxury cottage in a great location.
What a wonderful stay, we will be back.
What a lovely clean warm and welcoming cottage. The Monsal trail just down the road, walks on the doorstep, I can't tell you enough what a relaxing, happy and cozy few days away we had.
Kestrel Cottage. A real find !
Our first time visit to the stunningly beautiful peak district was made even more enjoyable by our stay in your lovely cottage.
Kestrel Cottage was a real find, everything we could wish for, comfortable, cosy and very clean.
A really relaxing retreat!
Our hosts Vicki and Charlie were most kind, leaving beautiful flowers lovely newlaid eggs and wine for our arrival, very welcome.

Amazing - property with everything you could want. Super snug and warm and clean.
Cottage very near lots of fantastic days out not to mention superb local pubs, village cafe etc
Very comfortable cottage!
Very comfortable cottage, nicely out of the way. This is our second holiday staying at this or one of the neighbouring cottages, and we could come again.
Shame about the weather!
Our stay at Kestrel Cottage was spoiled by the rain that we suffered every day of our holiday! The Peak District looks lovely when the sun shines but we only enjoyed brief glimpses of sun.
The cottage is lovely, the recommendations for restaurants excellent and the nuthatches were a treat!
Get up early and spot the Kestrels and other birds that live in the House's extensive grounds and woodland. Have breakfast on the patio before exploring the numerous local footpaths. A walk down into the valley will get you to the bustling village with its local shops and two great pubs. This is an absolutely brilliant holiday location within easy reach of Derbyshire's myriad of visitor attractions.
For exciting days out how about a trip to Castleton's spooky Blue John caverns, Peveril's 'storm the battlements' castle, Chapel's owl and otter sanctuary, Buxton's amazing Dome, the 'Dambuster'Dams, Kinder's wild moorlands, Haddon's romantic hall and even famous Chatsworth House. Wherever you go get back in time for a drink in the Old Hall Inn!
