Hi Guys, I like to think I'm an easy going a friendly guy. I've lived in Amsterdam for 4 years no and travel a lot for work so thought it'd be a good idea to rent out my apartment for the times i'm away. I love Amsterdam as it's a truly multi-cultural environment where there is always something going on.
Simon purchased this Apartment in 2015
Why Simon chose Staatsliedenbuurt
The main reason why I bought this property was because of it's location and because of the garden. In Amsterdam gardens are very hard to find and I'm not a fan of 4 flights of stair after a day out on my bike :)
What makes this Apartment unique
The garden and the ground floor are the unique benefits. Very hard to find these in Amsterdam centre.

Central Amsterdam Apartment
The apartment is in a typical Amsterdam residential street - very quiet and safe, perfect for an uninterrupted sleep after a day's walking. The apartment is compact and though not glamorous has all the facilities (large TV, wi-fi, outdoor area, a big fridge and cooker, etc) required for self-catering (with a really good grocery store nearby) and, importantly for a winter visit, really warm. The apartment was a twenty minutes walk to the city centre, via some of the classic Dutch architecture and canals - and very near to Westerpark. Trams do run in the nearest main street and public transport is excellent everywhere, as is the abundance of cycle hire shops. There are many local bars and small shops; this is a great city for independent retailers and a breath of fresh air compared to the uniformity and repetitiveness of the UK high-street. Simon, the owner, was quick to respond to queries via email. The locals' willingness to help with directions and advice is also outstanding, as is their friendliness.
