Overview

About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-7)

This house is a 'Peace' of Paradise! It is quiet, on the waterfront, and close to all the action! Great views and great amenities. We strive to provide our guests with all the comforts of home, plus!

Our house is richly decorated with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a living room, dining area, and kitchen with a bar. It is an open floor plan with all tile floors. The Master has a brand new Sterns and Foster king size bed with attached bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third has a twin and a full bed. All beds have luxury sheets and bedding. There are flat screen televisions in the living room (47'), master (42') and second bedroom (40'). There is a 20' flat screen T.V. in the 3rd bedroom. There is a full bath in the hallway. The living room has all brand new leather furniture with reclining features. The dining room and bar have all oak furniture. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and cooking equipment. There is a Keurig Coffee maker with starter pods. Cable and high speed wireless or corded internet are provided.

There are water views from the brightly lit living, dining areas and two bedrooms. The den/living room connects to the covered porch flanking the front and side of the house. There is a gate blocking the stairs for children or pets. We have a doggie door leading onto the deck. Well behaved pets are welcome!

There is a large grass front yard that is child and pet friendly. There are balls and other equipment provided for your family's enjoyment. For quiet or rainy days we have a cabinet full of family friendly board games.

There are gorgeous views from the covered porches- one of a bend in the Biloxi River and another of our wooded canal. The porches are raised on pilings approximately 14 feet off the ground. There is covered parking and a deck elevator installed.

Within ten minutes you can be at the beach or the casinos. There is live music in the area every evening. We provide a list of all our favorite places to eat and things to do. We also provide directions so you can buy fresh seafood and produce to cook at home. This area has some of the best seafood in the world!

Gulfport-Biloxi has some of the best fishing found anywhere! In the 'Back Bay' of Biloxi you can catch Speckled Trout and Redfish (to have any luck you'll have to fish from a boat). From our pier you can use the poles and lures provided. In the spring you can catch Bream on most every cast. As the weather gets warmer you can catch a few Blue Gill every now and then. With the right bait, and some luck, you can catch an occasional Bass.

Our area is known as 'Retreat Village'. We think of it as our own 'Peace' of Paradise.

NOTICE - THIS PROPERTY WILL FLOOD!

The coast is a great place to live and play; but, as is true in any area next to the water, you have be prepared for tropical storms and hurricanes. During the storms and periods of extreme weather or even during extended periods of rain the river will rise onto the property, which is why the house is raised. The good news is that the weather folks are good at predicting and tracking these storms. The Harrison County Civil Defense puts out warning messages on the TV and on the radio. This shouldn't be a problem for you because you'll want to 'hit the road' as soon you hear of severe weather that causes the Biloxi River to flood. Our policy - if you need to evacuate, or if you're in doubt, just go and we'll work out something reasonable. If it is recommended that you evacuate due to rising water and you do not, we are not responsible for any losses that might be incurred.

Our policy is ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE. There are plenty of outdoor areas where you can smoke. Smokers are welcome but we require that you not smoke indoors or the upstairs porches (smoke can blow inside). If you smoke indoors you forfeit your deposit. No butts in the yard either please.

Peaceful, Clean, and Relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

Amazing place! All the beds were so comfortable; sheets and towels plush; the house was immaculate; if you do have dogs this would be a great choice; we loved sitting outside on the covered deck! Would definitely stay here again 😊

Very relaxing. Nice and clean.

  • 4 of 5

The home was nice and clean and decorations and pictures throughout the house were lovely. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and utensils. The elevator came in handy for getting elderly parents up and down as well as luggage. The houses are close together but did not hear any noise. Thanks for sharing your home. We had a nice stay.

We stayed over Memorial Day Weekend

  • 5 of 5

It was a great stay. Better than I expected. Lots of supplies. Beach toys for our granddaughter. We used the kayaks. It was my first time. Very relaxing. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

pictures are old but nice place

  • 4 of 5

The place is very nice on the inside, and well-stocked with cooking items that you may need while you are there like pots, pans, bowls, and utensils. All you really need is groceries. However the pictures of the outside of the house are old and it is not secluded like the pictures make it look like. There is a house less than 25 feet from the backside of this house. The water that runs up beside it is murky and shallow. The outside of the house needed to be pressure washed because it is very dirty. The house is a very nice house and we would definitely rent it again. However someone complain while we were there when we had a few friends over and there was no noise. The master bedroom bed has some issues. When you get in it it sounds like it is going to break. It needs to be looked at forsure.

Great neighborhood and friendly people.

  • 5 of 5

It's a perfect location... near enough to Gulfport, Biloxi, and Ocean Springs, to enjoy the offerings of each town.

The neighborhood was quiet and secluded. The neighbors were friendly. The house was exceptional. And it was well equipped for any and all needs. I highly recommend booking this home for any multiple day stay in the Gulfport/Biloxi area.

My only complaint, and the complaint of a few neighbors, is that the underhouse driveway lights are constantly on at night. There is no way to turn them off, short of throwing the breaker, and it detracts from the tranquillity of a dark night sky.

We were very happy with this house. The deck is great with lots of room. Beds and living furniture is comfortable. There are plenty of towels for showers and the beach. You can be at the beach and restaurants in Gulfport and Biloxi in 20 minutes. Thank you!
