Situated in the quaint little village of Munxar is this 300 year old converted semi detached farmhouse with private swimming pool and all modern age commodities.

Beyond the lounge area is the pool, sundeck and Bar-B-Q area with spectacular views of ‘Lunzjata’ and ‘Xlendi’ valley, blue skies and the Gozitan skyline.

Located right in the country side but minutes away from all amenities with tasteful Mediterranean decor throughout one can truly enjoy the best of two worlds.

Munxar is conveniently positioned a few minutes from The capital of Gozo ‘Victoria’ (where all the banks, shops, boutiques and supermarkets are) and a few minutes away from the magical ‘Xlendi Bay’. Activities in Xlendi include boat hire, scuba diving and other water sports. Xlendi is also where some of the best restaurants on the island are found and you can dine by candle light out on the terraces inches away from the beach under the clear, blue, Mediterranean skies.

Excellent, loved everything!

We had a fantastic stay! The farmhouse is lovely, spacious and full of character and we really enjoyed the pool. Brilliant view from the living room. The kitchen is well equipped. The area is quiet and secluded. Jeff and the house keeper were very helpful and available when needed. We don't usually return to the same places for holiday as we like to explore more, this is an exception, we can't wait to go back.

Wonderful place

It was really a pleasure to stay in "Bebbux" for nearly two weeks. There is something special in this farmhouse which I can only describe as "good vibrations".

The place is nice and clean, spacious inside with 3 separate bathrooms (very convenient) located in lovely and quiet village.

House keeper was very helpful and caring, reacting quickly to any requests we had (like burnt bulb).

Gozo is a perfect place - we had the best holiday ever!!!

2 lovely weeks at farmhouse Bebbux

Farmhouse Bebbux is a clean and admirable place to spend perfect holidays on Gozo. We found everything as described and in case of difficulties the owner and his team (housekeeper) provide the necessary service. This property is absolutely recommendable to all my friends and relatives.

Regrettably the house does not have sea view or access, however the pool can compensate for it.

For Divers I recommend Utina dive College at Xlendi (small groups and very friendly people). Tatita's Restaurant in St. Lawrence is the best place for eating (delicious food and professional service!).

A beautiful and relaxing stay in Munxar

A wonderfully quiet, authentic and relaxing farmhouse in a great location. The house being situated between Xlendi Bay and Victoria gave us many options for eating out and getting around the island. Both are only a 20 min walk away (and you'll certainly get some exercise due to the hills). The pool was invaluable in the Gozo heat, we used it daily!

Jeff & Mariella, were incredibly responsive and helpful from making the reservation all the way through to checkout.

Gozo in general – I would recommend hiring a car if you're planning to travel all around the Island / to or from Malta or have any mobility issues. Although the buses are regular you could spend a lot of your day waiting around if your journey takes you on 2/3 buses as each route only runs once an hour (with some exceptions). The good news is that Jeff can also help you out with car hire and car hire from the airport.

A lovely quiet location and a charming property.

The property was clean and spacious with good facilities, given that we stayed in earlier April the patio and pool area which faces north was in full sun from about 09.30 to 14.30 and it was only ever a quick dip in the pool as it was too earlier in the year to have heated up. There is plenty of space to sit and eat around the large table on the patio and there is another large table inside to sit around and eat at as well as a good sized lounge area. There are several small changes in the floor height as well as vaulted ceilings and door openings which I needed to be careful of as I am 6'6" tall. There is a bathroom for every bedroom but only one shower so this got used mainly instead of the baths. The kitchen was well equipped with the exception of a dishwasher.

The local supermarket is only a few minutes walk away and had virtually everything you would want including most english brands and the prices were reasonable compared to the UK.

The bus service around Gozo is excellent and extremely good value at 6.50 euro for a week unlimited travel. There are 2 buses that go to Munxar every hour and the house is only a few minutes from 3 bus stops (easily walkable even with luggage).

Travel to and from the airport is 1.30euro each way taking just over an hour on the X1 express bus to the ferry, the ferry is only paid for on the return journey (4.65euro) on Gozo all buses go to and from Victoria so it would be a 301 & a 305 to get you to Munxar.

Enjoy your holiday, I would certainly go back here.

Munxar is wedged between the sloping sides of two parallel valleys and it offers some of the most beautiful landscapes in Gozo.

Being situated between the capital ’Victoria and close to Xlendi bay ( both being about 3.5km away) it is a very sought after location.

Xlendi Bay is a small fishing village engulfed in a fjord like inlet amongst high cliffs. Popular with tourists as it is ideal for bathing and as diving resort especially in summer. Otherwise foreigners and locals could gaze spell bound admiring late spring and early autumn sunsets that adorn the waters with gilded streaks described only by poets and often captured by artists or keen photographers.
