Why Marian chose Raymond
Stay at our 5-star cottage and enjoy Maple Sunday, Naples Blues Festivals, car shows, uncrowded golf courses, fishing, boating, sports, fine dining, recreation, fun and relaxing amid the beautiful surroundings. We take great pride in our cottage and keep it in immaculate shape and clean. Another one of our goals is to supply guest renters with an experience greater than what they expected. The cottage is located on an acre of land with lots of flowers and a grassy lawn. There's a sandy beach and a deep-water dock for a boat. We bought this property because it borders our next door home. Waterfront properties such as this don't come on the market frequently. Plus it has a beautiful view and is a level acre of land.
What makes this Cottage unique
We consider this location on Big Sebago Lake as 'Paradise', which is why our home is located next door. Please read the many reviews by guests who have stayed at the cottage. Due to our guests' allergies we do not allow pets or smoking in the cottage or on the property grounds. Marian and I personally clean the cottage, and groom the flower beds to make things as tidy and attractive as possible. The lawn is mowed by a service company usually on a weekly basis or as needed. The neighborhood is very quiet therefore only a maximum of 6 people are allowed on the property or in the cottage at any time. SPRINGTIME ACTIVITIES We invite you to enjoy some of the spring events that celebrate life, great food, nature, art, festivals, fun, and relaxation. Our cottage is located on Sebago Lake, the seventh cleanest lake in the world, and the home of land-locked salmon, The cottage is conveniently located forty minutes from Portland, a city with fabulous restaurants and opportunities to take whale watching and island tours. We are also within driving distance to Boston, New Hampshire, Boothbay, Kennebunkport, L.L. Bean, and several outlet malls. Just like the spring bulbs burst into color, spring brings color to Maine. The possibilities are endless: Hike, bike and enjoy the outdoors. Visit Maine's famous Botanical Gardens. Kennebunkport Festival. Old Port Festival. Boating and fishing. Lovely neighborhood, spacious grounds, peaceful, beautiful water.
I have to agree with your review and feel most fortunate that we were able to buy this place over twenty years ago. It is a very special place.

Another peaceful week at Sebago enjoying beautiful surroundings, Marian’s outstanding blueberry pie, and fresh steamed lobsters. We hope to have an opportunity to return.
Dear John and Priscilla,
I am glad you had a lovely week. I especially enjoyed our chat about our university experiences. It is interesting that after so many years, we came together at Sebago Lake and could share memories. I will look forward to your return some time in the future.
Immaculate cottage on the lake
We had an amazing time yet again renting this property. The cottage and grounds are kept very clean. The owner is incredibly attentive to the needs of her renters. She is also very hospitable.
Dear Danielle and family,
I have enjoyed having you folks for several years now. The girls certainly enjoy the beach, and you had nearly perfect weather for your two weeks. It was fun having the children over to spend a little time with mother duck and her seven tiny babies.
My family and I were looking for a private beach gateway, and we got just that! Marion was super sweet and welcoming, and a fantastic baker! Would love to stay here again!
Thank you for your kind comments. You certainly had wonderful weather which made it possible for you to spent time relaxing at the beach. I would love to have you return whenever possible.
