Sunnyside sleeps 10 and is situated just a short walk from Rhossili beach.

‘Sunnyside’ is an attractive, south-facing 1920’s house which has been recently renovated and retains many original features. Situated on the edge of Rhossili Downs, it has breathtaking sea views with Rhossili beach and cliffs just a short walk away.

The house is also within easy walking distance of Fall and Mewslade Bays in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Gower Peninsula.

The accommodation is spacious, with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large dining room/lounge, kitchen with breakfast bar, utility room and entrance porches. Outside there are gardens to the front and rear with ample parking. Adding to the special character of the property, many paintings by local artists are displayed around the house.

There are four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large dining room / lounge, kitchen and utility room. Entrance porches at the front and back of the property provide ample room for coats and boots. The house has full central heating.

The kitchen is fully fitted with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and includes a breakfast bar with stools.

The large living area has a dining table and chairs at one end and sitting area at the other. There is a TV with freeview and a selection of books for times when you may wish to relax indoors. Internet access is also available.

The upstairs bathroom has a walk in shower, hand basin and toilet. The downstairs bathroom has a large bath, walk in shower, wash basin and toilet.

Next to the downstairs bathroom is a large family room with a French windows opening onto a patio area.

The utility room has a washing machine and space to hang wet towels and bathing costumes. A large hot water tank provides ample hot water when required. There is also an iron and ironing board.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king size bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe. It also has two chairs by the large window so that the fabulous views can be enjoyed. The second bedroom has a king size bed with a chest of drawers and cane armchair. This room also has fantastic views across the Bristol Channel. The third bedroom has 2 single beds and a small chest of drawers.

A travel cot is available and could be used in any bedroom except the twin bedded room.

A large lawn in the front garden makes an ideal area for children to play and there are chairs and a table in the back garden which is more secluded.

Lovely and well equipped home

Really enjoyed staying here. Short walk to beach, fantastic views and the house was a real home from home. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was the most well equipped of any of the holiday let's that I've stayed in. I really appreciated that. Would definitely come back.

Nice, large, well equipped house in Rhosilli village with stunning views

We had a lovely few days. Nice, large, well equipped house in Rhosilli village with stunning views out towards Worm’s Head.

Only criticism would be the strong smell of oil coming from the boiler/ utility room, which was noticeable throughout the whole downstairs area.

Excellent property in a beautiful location

What a fab find! 8 of us came together for a family get away and we had the best week. The house was lovely, clean and warm with everything you could need. The house was a short walk to the costal path and beach and a plus was the bar in the hotel! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this house to anyone thinking of staying.

Spectacular house in spectacular location

Rhossili is a magical place, and the house does the location full justice. The windows provide panoramic views of Rhossili Bay to the front and the downs to the rear. We never tired of looking out. The interior design is outstanding - beautiful pieces of antique furniture combine with top-of-the-range modern kitchen and bathroom fittings. We loved the enormous bath in the downstairs bathroom, and the monsoon shower upstairs. Our eyes constantly fell on charming details we'd previously failed to notice. The back garden is an enchanting little slice of nature.

The house stands about three minutes' walk from the village, with its little cafes and a hotel-cum-pub/restaurant, all of which have outside seating areas overlooking the bay. You can set off on coastal walks from the village.

We travelled from London by train and had considered renting a car on arrival, but we managed perfectly fine without one. In fact, we had loads more fun and interaction with people without one. There are regular buses to and from Swansea and local villages. The online timetables are a bit difficult to follow, so contact N.A.T. group and request a brochure before you go. The bus drivers were fantastically helpful and friendly. We also did an online grocery order in advance, which arrived right on time. The house name and postcode were enough for the driver to find us, but the website had refused to accept the order without a street name. There doesn't seem to be one! So I made one up: Main Road, Rhossili. It worked.
