Wonderful Montpellier apartment
Very nice apartment in an ideal location. Great access to Place de la Comedie and all restaurants and shops. The tram stop is very close, as is a very nice fitness center and olympic sized swimming pool. I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Montpellier who is seeking a very pleasant and quiet place to stay.
This is an AMAZING apartment!
I wanted to wait a few days after my return to the US before I wrote my review for this apartment in Montpellier. I waited because I wanted to give just as much thought and detail to my review as Guillaume and Linh gave to their preparation for our arrival, and cleanliness to their apartment. First let me start out by saying that every time I made an inquiry, Linh responded in less than 24 hours. That is amazing and so appreciated when you are trying to plan a vacation from 4,000 mile away. Prior to our arrival, Linh graciously offered to both pick us up and drop us off at the train station since we were flying into Paris and taking a high speed train to Montpellier. Without skipping a beat, Guillaume met us at the train station and took us directly to the apartment, where we were greeted by Linh and their adorably cute baby daughter. When we went inside the apartment, I couldn’t believe how virtually spotless it was! Seriously! If I got on my hands and knees looking for dust, I would never find it. (and I’m a clean freak!) The apartment was stocked with anything you need to make your stay comfortable. Towels, comfy bed, quiet location (we slept like babies it was that quiet) and a fully stocked kitchen. Additionally, they provided very handy maps of the city and the region for us, and very thoughtfully gave us a gift of a bottle of red wine from the Languedoc region (the French are VERY proud of their wines!) Guillaume went over each of the maps pointing out areas of interest, how the trolley cars work, how to rent bikes in the city, the grocery store (which is about 2 blocks away and has everything you need to make your own meals), restaurants, etc. As a matter of fact, they recommended that we have dinner our first full night in Montpellier at La Diligence which is about a 20 minute walk from the apartment. Folks, on a scale from 1-10, the dinner was a 20! The ambiance, the food, the wine was beyond amazing! Their dinner recommendation was spot on (as usual) and Linh gave us many recommendations to work with. You will not find a bad restaurant on her list.
The location and view of this apartment is the best we have ever experienced in all of our travels in Europe, it’s….that…good! Thank you, thank you, thank you Guillaume and Linh for being such gracious hosts and making this one of the most memorable vacations we have ever had in Europe! We wish you much success in providing future renters with all the wonderful memories you gave us!
This apartment is everything you could want, and all the reviews have accurately explained how wonderfully maintained it is and how wonderful the area is. What makes this apartment stand out from the many of our other rental experiences is Linh and Guillaume. Their enthusiasm and generosity is contagious. They not only care about the quality of the apartment, but also sincerely enjoy sharing their extensive knowledge of the area and responded promptly to all of our questions. They even helped us get a SIM card for our phone and walked with us to the train station to help us with our travel plans. We were extremely lucking to share time with them and made a connection that has remained. Staying in this apartment and meeting Linh and Guillaume will remain one of our favorite experiences. I can wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to you.
Wonderful property in the heart of Montpellier
We stayed here with our 2 young children and found the accommodation very suitable. We were close to the old city, close to public transit, restaurants and grocery stores. The flat was very clean and well equipped. The owners were absolutely fantastic! Would highly recommend to others.

We've rented many times, but Linh & Guillaume's introduction to the apartment and the town is by far the best we've experienced - and their kindness as we left, in donating us a bucket for our daughter, who was embarking on a car journey after an night of illness, was much appreciated! This is the most immaculate (decor/maintenance/cleaning on arrival) place we've stayed. The location is ideal, if you plan to use public transport on holiday: the directions Linh & Guillaume will send you to get from the train station to the apartment are foolproof, it's 2 mins walk to/from a stop for the key No 1 tram line, one minute from a stand for Montpelliers's excellent bike-rental scheme, and the short walk to Place de la Comedie & the start of the Old Town is flat, pleasant and always feels safe. Also perfect if you have a car, since secure parking in the basement is available at no extra cost. Staying here you'll feel as though you are living in the town, rather than visiting as tourists. We enjoyed living in the centre of town so much we lost enthusiasm for using it as a base for sight-seeing - though Montpellier is excellently placed for such day trips. It would be worth googling 'Domaine d'O' (in a suburb to the north, accessible by blue (no 1) tram line) - an arts & cultural centre in grounds of chateau, with free concerts, in newly-constructed, outdoor, Roman-style theatre, throughout the summer. Great atmosphere - bring a picnic or buy from the lovely cafe on site. The Estivales festival, off Place de la Comedie, each Friday evening, which Linh & Guillaume will recommend, is also v worthwhile, if you're interested in local food and wine. All in all, this apartment is an ideal base for a family trip with young adults/older teenagers, as the town has a vibrant, young feel to it and its location means everyone can be free to do their own thing. Loved being able to make good coffee in the apartment too...! Thanks. Hope we can get back some time, either for the rugby or for more summer sun in your lovely city...
The perfect apartment in the perfect location.
This apartment was spotless and lovely. The view is amazing and the service from the owners/hosts is above and beyond. The hosts went out of their way to ensure our particular needs were accommodated - especially as we have young children with severe allergies. The apartment was well set out and very comfortable. We look forward to returning next year for a longer stay.
It is ideally located at the center of the emblematic neighborhood of Montpellier, the well-known Antigone. You will benefit from the wonderful viewpoint on place de Thessalie, dominated by the Fountain with neoclassical sculptures. You will enjoy the proximity of old town Montpellier, great choice of restaurants, pastry shops, French boutiques and access to Malls: Polygone, Galeries Lafayette , Odysseum. Nearby, les Halles Jacques Coeur offer fresh foods. On Sundays, there is a Farmers' market where are sold bio and fresh products. All public transportations are close by. You have a quick and easy access to train station(10min walk), Highways A9 (5min drive), and Airport(10min drive). The beach is in only 15 min drive. This place provides both high standing and proximity of exciting things to do! The area offers the perfect environment to have a pleasant stay in Montpellier. It highlights the greatest alliances of the sun and beach, river and mountain, nature and urban life.
