Once the parish reading rooms, the cottage has been lovingly converted to a holiday home and still retains some quirky features, such as the two chimneys. All on the ground floor, the living room and kitchen are open plan and offer a generous amount of space. The bedroom has a double bed and is also a spacious room. The bathroom is fitted with a bath and overhead shower. Outside is a shared seating area, and you are also just a short walk from the village green.

The Reading Rooms is in the heart of the village, and plenty of public footpaths can be accessed close by for you to enjoy exploring the Sussex Weald.
Seven miles away is the market town of Petworth, full of traditional and historic buildings. It has many antique shops, small individual shops and tea rooms. The town is most famous for Petworth House and Park which with its wall forms a major part of the town. The Park is very extensive and offers great views of both the house and the South Downs.
