What's special about this condo is its unique location. Right on the ground floor, in the very front of the building, it allows our guests easy access to the beach (seasonal) and pool. Simply walk through the private ocean view patio and across the sunny yard, literally just 10 steps and you are at the ocean front pool. A few more steps will take you to North Ka'anapali Beach. Explore the beautifully landscaped grounds, stroll along the beach walk, or simply enjoy the ocean and pool views from the comfort of your lanai.

The Ka'anapali Shores is located on ten acres of beautifully maintained gardens just North of the major Ka'anapali hotels. On-site there is a general store and ocean front restaurant. Across the street there is a complete super market and many other dining options are located with in walking distance.

Please be advised that parking is $9 daily and paid directly to the front desk. Although a car is not absolutely necessary, we recommend guests rent a vehicle if they plan on exploring any area of Maui other than the resort.
When you're ready to explore, the Kaanapali hotel area and Whalers Village are only 5 minutes away. Historic Lahaina town with the famous 'Front Street' is only 10 minute drive South. The resort area of Kapalua, Napili, and Honolua Bay are 15 minutes North with excellent beaches, snorkeling and dining abound.

About Fred, Luba & Leah
Fred and Luba purchased Suite A103 at The Ka'anapali Shores Resort in 2003 for three reasons. Location, location, and you guessed it, location! A ground floor unit with easy access to the beach, pool and restaurant, plus its own grassy garden area, this is sure to be your new favorite spot at The Ka'anapali Shores. The Ka'anapali Shores resort has maintained a reputation of being an affordable yet upscale family vacation destination. We invite you and your family to come explore all that this resort has to offer! In 2015, Fred and Luba will be retiring and their daughter Leah, who grew up in the vacation rental industry, will transitions to full time manager of their units. We are located on island in case of emergency.

We purchased condos at Kaanapali Shores Resort for three reasons. Location, location, location. We think you will agree with our reasoning.
What makes this Condo unique
Luba and I like 103 because we can make believe this is our cottage at the ocean and since almost all of the units are behind us, all we see near us is the pool and the ocean.

Nice location unit needs deep clean.
The condo is on the ground floor and looks out to the pool with great ocean views. We had a wonderful family vacation, with whale and turtle watching, a helicopter ride, etc. we wished the resort had a useable beach. We have to drive to one every day. Our condo wasn't as clean as It should be, mold in the master bath. The sofa's hideaway bed wasn't made and after we found enough linens to make it up, it was unsleepable. It's mattress is very old. The linens were limited. We didn't have enough towels and needed to wash them every day. The linens on the twin beds were thin and need replacement. Back to the sofa, it also needed to be cleaned. There were missing pavers on the patio. The hem of the front room drapes had come undone and they didn't close all the way. We had a security issue, we didn't feel safe because the patio's screen doors were unlockable, their latches were broken/gone, requiring us to keep the lockable sliding glass doors closed (remember this is a ground floor unit) most of the time, thus missing out on enjoying the cool evening breezes.
We finally settled in by using the resorts pool towels, after we figured out how to get them. The instructions in the room were outdated. We received no Welcome letter or check out instructions, so we did what we have done at other RVBOs. The resort's staff was helpful. The grounds are well kept. The resort's restaurant was a great place to get a burger and drink.
Location is awesome.
Would totally stay here again. The location is great. The resort is nice. Excited it had beach chairs and toys. Leah was great to work with.
This condo needs updating
Location is great, right next to beach, pool, and restaurant. But the unit is a bit of a dump. Much remodeling needed. I've stayed in several condos in this area, at four different resorts. For the price, I would not book this unit again.
We enjoy Maui and experienced many memorable activitities.
We loved the location of the unit. This was our third stay in the last four years at kaanapali shores. However this particular unit we feel is in the need of updating cabinets and light fixtures in the bathrooms, ceiling tiles are also very noisy when doors are closed in the unit. But overall we had a great family vacation with our daughter, spouse and grandkids. The Imus family

We couldn't have asked for a better location! We just loved being able to walk out from the Lanai and be at the beach in seconds :) The Condo had everything we wanted ..we would definitely stay again!
Great place, GREAT location, & well equipped. Couldn't ask for a better spot on the island.
Leah and the team were great. Always quick to answer questions. Property was great. Literally steps to one pool, the ocean, and the bar/restaurant we could watch the hula show/music from our own lanai. It was only a few more steps to the big pool. We couldn't put a price on the ability to walk out the slider and be at the pool in 5-10 SECONDS. Great/close/cheap parking on-property. Just a great experience. Would absolutely stay here again the next time we're on Maui. Everyone had a GREAT time on the island and 103 was a big reason why.
