Saint Pierre district will charm you with its ancient paved streets,its church,its square and its many restaurants.

Modern apartment in old Bordeaux

My husband and I spent three nights in Bordeaux during a heat wave. The apartment was cool despite the heat due to the thick walls of the old building. It is modern, tastefully decorated, clean and located on the ground floor. The owner is very helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommend staying in this modern apartment located in the heart of old Bordeaux.

Excellent, the location, the apartment was roomy and very well decorated.

I loved my stay at this apartment. It was everything advertised. The building was very old and fun. Very safe if you are traveling alone. As said, it was very close to walk to cafes, restaurants, shopping. I would recommend this apartment, it is small but very nice. The owner is most accomodating and very helpful. I enjoyed the Greek restaurant Aphrodite just around the corner and the owner lives in the same building as the apartment. I would recommend this apartment very highly.

Excellent location, great facilities and very clean.

We spent a very enjoyable 4 nights in Bordeaux courtesy of Alain and Marie in June 2016 . The apartment is perfectly located on a side street just away from bustling main streets replete with shops, bars and restaurants in the beautiful and ancient centre of Bordeaux. Just a short walk away are the main tourist attractions - Pont de Pierre, the cathedral and the main squares and the apartment is very accessible close to the tram stop at Place de la Bourse (on the line from St Jean train station).

It is on the ground floor but is cloistered within a courtyard so feels very safe and removed from the hustle of the city. Despite there being thousands of rowdy football fans in Bordeaux for the european football championships we were not disturbed behind the property gates and enjoyed the relative sanctuary of the apartment. The apartment is clean, attractive and well furnished with a good sized shower room/toilet and a well equipped kitchen. There is wifi internet which is of decent speed.

We were met by Alain on arrival and departure who furnished us with really useful information on Bordeaux and the surrounding area. He was very pleasant and accommodating. The neighbours similarly were very considerate and polite.

I heartily recommend this property for its location, facilities, the service from the owners and also the reasonable rental cost. We will certainly be returning to Bordeaux in the future and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great location fully equiped

My wife and I stayed at the apartment for five nights in May 2016. The location was ideal, right in the middle of the Old Town surrounded by restaurants and shops. The apartment was in a ancient building, fully renovated, on a quiet back street and on the ground floor. It was fully equipped and the wifi worked very well. Alain met us at the airport (for a reasonable fee) and drove us to the apartment. He also came at the end of our stay and drove us (again for a modest charge) to the train station. He returned our security deposit without any question. Although Alain spoke little English we communicated fine and had no problems figuring out how things worked. We highly recommend this apartment for independent travelers wanting to stay in the Bordeaux Old Town.

A Haven in Bordeaux

We stayed at this apartment for 4 days. We could not have found a better location. The apartment is within minutes to all the major sites. Rue Sainte Catherine is a mere 3 minute walk. And despite its very close proximity to the city center, the place was like a refuge that provided tranquility and privacy. After wandering all day I looked forward to relaxing in this stylish place.

You can discover our local gastronomy in one of the numerous restaurantsLocated in the area of Saint Pierre, near the church. You can visit Bordeaux by foot: the quays of Garonne, the Sainte Catherine street, the big theatre, the Place de la Bourse, the Place des Quinconces and the Saint Andrew cathedral a few steps away. You cants that make this area lively. Private covered and watched parking (place Camille Jullian, 50 m away from the apartment). If you wish to use public transports, tram, bus and bike station are at approximately at 2 minutes. The train station is at 5 min.
