A private road with beautiful views of the Massif du Luberon leads you to the "Jas de St Hilaire" charming stone house comfortable 180 m2 in a protected residential site. Fine modern and stylish decor.

Private pool 9m x 4.5m fenced with large paved beach where sunbeds welcome you in the shade of a pergola in wrought iron.

The plot (3500 m2) consists landscaped large flowered terraces supported by stone walls. It is fenced and planted with pines, olive trees, oaks and various Mediterranean species. Shaded terraces for lunch or rest. Barbecue. Automatic gate with intercom and videophone.

For the comfort of 6 people the house has a large kitchen with hob, large fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher and small household electrical appliances. Washing machine and freezer are taking place in the laundry.

Away from living rooms, two bedrooms with double beds 160x200, one with ensuite bathroom and toilet, open directly onto the garden and pool through large French windows. The third bedroom facing west offers 2 single beds that can be converted into a single bed of 180 wide.

SUPERB STAY AT LE JAS DE SAINT-HILAIRE

Although it has been several months since our week at Le Jas de Saint-Hilaire, we often reflect on our stay with such fond memories. We were a group of four “young at heart” retirees and this was our first visit to Provence.

The house itself was a pleasant surprise, even better than the pictures on-line. We particularly enjoyed the patio, the pool, and the spacious kitchen (which turned out to be our favorite gathering room for eating, reflecting and planning the next day’s events.) The bedrooms and baths were all recently up-dated and comfortable. Although we had little time to relax by the pool, the few hours we spent there were so restful.

The location was perfect. We rode the TGV train from Paris to Avignon, rented a car in Avignon where we toured the Palace of the Popes, then drove to Menerbes. Le Jas de Saint-Hillaire is a gated private home, somewhat secluded but central to all of the towns and villages we wanted to visit: the wonderful markets in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Lourmarin, the Van Gogh walk in Arles, the aqueduct in Pont du Gard, a day of biking with Sunny Bikes in Bonnieux, the calanques on the Mediterranean in Cassis, the ochre cliffs in Roussillon, and the hilltop village of Gordes. Our location was also convenient to the near-by Super U for grocery shopping and the boulangerie/charcuterie in Menerbes, as well as excellent restaurants in Menerbes.

All in all, this was the perfect house in the perfect location for a perfect week in Provence and The Luberon. Also of note, Patricia, our “landlord”, was very responsive to our every request and a pleasure to work with.

Le Jas was fabulous!

We loved our stay at Le Jas de Saint-Hilaire. The house is lovely (prettier than the pictures) - beautiful décor, gorgeous bathrooms, two of the rooms have doors that open onto the garden- what a treat. Evening dinners on the patio near the pool were wonderful. It had everything we needed. Our hostess, Patricia, was so helpful and welcoming. We loved staying in the Luberon area and Le Jas was just perfect.

Traumhaft

Das Haus ist mit einem Wort perfekt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Von den Küchenutensilien bis zur Waschmaschine und Trockner, war alles da. Da die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet ist, hatten wir kein Bedürfnis ein Restaurant aufzusuchen. Gut sortierte Supermärkte sind gut zu erreich. Die Anlage bzw. der Garten wunderschön und gepflegt. Der Pool ist sehr sauber und bietet unter der Pergola auch Halbschatten. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, allein die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hat uns viele Ausflugstipps genannt und sich auch um unser Wohl in den zwei Wochen gekümmert. Wir haben uns sehr entspannen können. Am liebsten würden wir den ganzen Sommer dort verweilen, werden bestimmt aber das Haus wieder buchen. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und sämtliche Touristenhighlights gut zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit Madame Ducher erfolgt auch auf Englisch und alles hat bestens geklappt. Sie hatte uns zum verabredeten Zeitpunkt erwartet und uns eingeführt.Haben das Haus auch Freunden empfohlen.

Un petit trésor caché à Ménerbes.

Patricia est très chaleureuse et accueillante. La maison est très belle, bien équipé, très propre et avec une atmosphère Provencale. La propriété est situé dans un endroit vert et très tranquille. On ressent un privacy total! Le jardin et la piscine sont impeccablement entretenue.

Vraiment un endroit un endroit pour se reposer, pour explorer les villages, les vignobles et les marchés du Luberon, pour jouir de la vie et pour se sentir heureux.

Pour nous, c'était un séjour mémorable et certainement une maison ou on voudrait bien retourner.

Ein Traum..

Auf einem bewaldeten Hügel, ca. 2 km von Menerbes enfernt, liegt zwischen anderen, weitläufigen Ferienanwesen "Le Jas"; die Privatsphäre ist durch die großen Grundstücke absolut gewährleistet.

Die Photos im Internet sind ja schon vielversprechend, können die wirkliche Schönheit dieser herrlichen Villa im Herzen der Provence aber nur andeuten.

Nach einer kurzen, holprigen Zufahrt eröffnet sich durch ein automatisches Eingangstor der wunderbare Garten - duftendes Geißblatt und prächtige Rosen bieten einen grandiosen Empfang.

Das Haus ist großzügig, sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.

Von der gut ausgestatteten Küche über W-LAN bis hin zu den elektrischen Markisen und der Grillmöglichkeit vor der Terrasse - für ein entspanntes Urlaubsfeeling wurde an alles gedacht.

Unabdingbar für die heiße Zeit ist der gepflegte Pool, blickgeschützt und kindersicher umzäunt.

Nicht zuletzt hat die problemlose Abwicklung des Mietvertrags und die nette Betreuung durch Madame Ducher zu einem rundum gelungenen Urlaub in "Le Jas" beigetragen.

Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Infrastruktur: Bäcker in Menerbes; Super U in Coustellet mit großem Fischangebot 10 min per Auto, Lidl und Leclerc mit Tankstelle in Apt 20 min per Auto erreichbar. Jeden Tag Märkte in der Umgebung. Entfernung von Avignon (und Autobahnanschluß): 40 min.
