This delightful semi detached villa is ideally located between two of the best beaches l'Escala has to offer, walking distance to local restaurants and comfortable living room with feature fireplace this room then leads off to the three bedrooms, two double and one twin. there is a lovely new bathroom . This rustic villa is comfortably furnished and benefits from modern appliances, including dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. When you need to stay out of the sun there is Internet TV, ASTRA 1 Multi Linugal SAT TV and Local TV
There are plenty of books !
The kitchen is quite new and very well equipped. The terrace overlooks the lovely pool with Roman steps and the palm tree swaying in the summer breeze this is an ideal place to sit and relax in the peace and sunshine there is a BBQ to finish off the day with your glass of Cava.

Great family holiday
Really nice villa as described.
Family of four with two boys 9 and 12, we all loved the pool and had dinner most nights sitting on the patio followed by a late night dip.
We didn't have a car and it's quite a long walk to beaches and shops but not really a problem. There's a little train that runs close to the villa and for a couple of euros you can get anywhere in L'escala.
Steve lives nearby and was always available if needed without being intrusive, a really nice guy.
Would recommend to anybody wanting a nice relaxing break in a lovely villa.

Great wee house
We had a great stay here, comfortable, well equipped, fantastic pool and fresh figs from the tree in the garden. The house is in a great location, close to restaurants, bars, beaches and the amazing ruins of Empures.
Homely and very private in a quite street.
Very cosy, clean and comfortable, lovely garden and grounds! Designed for outdoor living. Pool was refreshing. Half way between refills and Montgo, beaches and supermarkets,each only a ten minute walk. The train at mongo is a lovely way to reach the old town and stroll back, about half hour walk. Lescala is friendly, not over developed and very economical,especially for families! Thanks to Steve and Leah for a lovely stay here and at casa Francoli and at casa bonita last year, all fabulous! :-)
Holiday in L'Escala
We stayed in L'Escala in august-sept 2012.
We enjoyed our stay in this property very much.
The property is situated in a very quiet area. It's possible to get to the beach and supermarkets on foot but we recommend rent a car. All beaches are friendly for children. The recommendations from the owner regarding restaurants were very helpful and we absolutely agree with them (restaurants Lia I Quel and Marabe - worth a visit).
I think a few air-conditioners, a wi-fi spot and more lamps outside the house would be an advantage.
I want to add that villa area is not so big and the neighbors are quite close so you can see and hear them, by it's a matter of personal preference, that haven't disturbed us at all.
For beach vacation it's better to travel at beginning of august. It is windy in September and local restaurants are closing
Recommended for: Age 25+, Families with babies, beach vacation.
We work hard to ensure the villa is everything it should be and so a good review is very pleasing for us !!
Please note that there is a WiFi Internet (Via a 3G connection) in the Villa.Perfect for picking up email or browsing web pages.
There are also fans provided in each room.
Great Holiday in L'Escala
We stayed in L'Escala in June 2011. We loved the house and the local area. The local restaurant was great, cheap and we really enjoyed our meals there.
The house had everything we needed...and more!
It was a pleasure to stay in this lovely house which was clean, comfortable and welcoming.
We have already booked for 2012. See you next year!

L'Escala is one of the most interesting and picturesque places on the Costa Brava. The old town grew up around the fishing industry and L'Escala is world famous for its Anchovies. There is a daily fruit and vegetable market and a weekly Sunday Morning market. An excellent modern Marina accommodates the fishing fleet as well as luxury yachts and motor cruisers. Within a few minutes there are many safe sandy beaches and the clear water is ideal for scuba diving. In the area there are a whole range of other sporting facilities, including several Golf courses. A variety of bars and superb restaurants (many specialising in fish dishes) exist in the town and on the outskirts. L'Escala is an ideal family destination. Easy Access from all of Europe. L'Escala is situated at the southern end of the Bay of Roses. 45 minutes from the French border. 30 minutes from Girona Airport (flights with Ryanair from many UK airports). Approximately 12 hours by car from Calais or Boulogne. Other Activities: kite surfing , paragliding , parachuting, walking , bird watching, skiing, quad biking

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES Properties are available from 16:00 hrs on the day of arrival. If you arrive before that time you can contact us to see if the property will be available earlier than 16:00 Properties are required to be vacated at 10:00 hrs on the day of departure. PROPERTY CONDITION & CLEANLINESS You will find our property clean and in good order on arrival. You must therefore leave it clean and in good order, at the end of your stay. The property that you have rented is a privately owned property. It represents a considerable financial investment and in some cases is the owners own home. We ask you to be mindful of this during your stay and to treat the property and its contents with care and respect. On arrival, If you find a problem with the property or its contents, YOU must report this to us as soonas possible or you may be held responsible. DEPOSIT/BOND The mandatory security/cleaning bond of €200 Euros is not included in the rental price. This will be added to the invoice during or after the initial reservation request. You will need to pay the bond within the normal payment conditions, The bond will be refunded within 7 working days of departure by bank transfer/Credit Card or PayPal and provided the property is in good condition and clean and /or deducting the expenses in case of repair or replacement of broken items ,damaged or missing and extra hours of cleaning. You are responsible for damages that exceed the amount of the €200 Euros bond . We advise you to contact us in case of damages which you caused. Any additional cleaning required as a result of the property not being left in good order will be charged at €25 Euros per hour and will be deducted from the Bond Payment.
