We purchased this property after a long time searching. We were specifically looking in Tavira Town for a spacious 4 bedroom property with a private Swimming Pool, close enough to walk, on flat level ground, to the historic centre, the Roman Bridge, cafes , bars and restaurants, when ever we wanted to. Likewise to be close enough to walk to the supermarket, shops and a nearby beach. When we eventually found this property we just fell in love with it. The pool and outside space are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoor life to the full - all year round. The extremely good and convenient location and likewise the fact that it was so close to the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve and the "local" beach, made it a perfect choice. The property is absolutely ideal for spending holidays and is just perfect for spending winter in the sun, in the warm, healthy Algarvian climate and away from the cold harsh winters that are experienced back home.
What makes this Villa unique
The properties excellent and convenient location in Tavira Town, is a real plus point and benefit to guests. Being just a leisurely and pleasant 10 minute stroll on flat, level ground to the very heart of Tavira, the historic Roman Bridge and Tavira's many cafes, bars, restaurants and attractions. The property is well laid out on a flat, level plot with a minimum of steps and the short walk into the heart of Tavira is also on the flat, a real benefit and somewhat unusual and hard to find for villas, with pools in Tavira. The vast majority of which are a fair distance from Town and or on hilly terrain or indeed located remotely up in the hills. So in terms of a high quality environment, excellent fascilities and its extremely good and convenient location this property is a real find and an excellent choice. The Pool and Large Sun Terrace areas benefit from full direct sun all day long. Being so close to the Ria Formosa Nature reserve the gardens and surrounding areas to the property allow guests to enjoy sightings of a wide array of beautiful birds, including Storks, Goldfinch, Hoopoo, Doves etc. Whilst a car is always a benefit and allow guests a high degree of convenience and flexibility a Car is certainly not required if staying at this property due to its excellent and convenient location, with it being very close to everything you may need or wish to see.

The unit is clean neighborhood quiet and a huge mall located a short walk away. Only downside was internet connection dropping and reconnecting constantly. The unit has everything you need a 25 minute quick walk to central tourist area.
Lovely Tavira Villa
The villa looked very good on line and it didn’t disappoint, has everything you could possibly need, situated 15 - 20 minute stroll into the centre of Tavira. Would definitely recommend it.
Perfect property, perfect location
The online photographs don’t really do this property justice, the main living area was much larger than we anticipated! The house was spotlessly clean and presented to a very high standard. TV has the 4 main British channels which was perfectly adequate for our needs. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you will need for cooking although we took full advantage of the BBQ for evening meals, fab! My husband wishes to add that he was impressed that the knives were good quality and sharp, a pet hate when you stay somewhere and the knives won’t cut butter never mind veg.
We enjoyed very comfortable nights sleep, the electric blinds block out any light or you can have them such that a little can get in to tell you another day of sun has arrived. Another major plus was the fab shower in the en-suite, powerful and good temperature control.
The outside garden was perfect for all day sun, we could stay in the pool till around 5pm and frequently did. The outside dining table is great for lunches as it is in the shade of the house by that time so excellent for getting a short respite from the sun. The pool was clean and very well maintained, the pool man we met was a lovely friendly gentleman.
We had a hire car and did some exploring but you could easily manage at this property without one. The supermarket across the road is huge and easily accessed. We walked into town several evenings and absolutely loved Tavira. We were not disappointed with any of the restaurants we tried, my only complaint was there are far too many to choose from. This was our first visit to Tavira and most definitely will not be our last. I’d highly recommend this property to anyone considering it.
Amazing property quiet and secluded but still close to town
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here due to high standard of the accomodation and the hospitality of the owner, quick communication on any queries we had and no issues at all, everything you need pretty much on your door or a small walk into town, loved Tavira as it's not yet too commercial and full of tourists, the restaurants were great, friendly and welcoming, even went to a couple recommended by the owner, we weren't disappointed, loved it so much tried to book right away for next year, but sadly already sold out on any dates we could go, already thinking of returning on 2021!

Fantastic villa in perfect location
This has to be the best villa we have stayed in, it was very important to us that the walk into the town was flat and this villa ticked all the boxes.
It is decorated beautifully and kitted out with everything you could possibly need. The outside area has lots of sun bathing areas and equally plenty of shaded areas too, the supermarket is within the shopping centre minutes walk away.
Nearest beach is also an easy walk 1.5 miles? on a side road which is not at all busy
