The Chapel is situated on the Bath side of Bradford-on-Avon in a tucked away location. It is a lovely quiet spot in an historic row of stone cottages. You can easily walk to the town centre which is approximately a 15 minute walk, downhill. Uphill home takes about 20-30 minutes depending on your fitness!! Alternatively you could take a bus or taxi. There are a couple of pubs 5-10 minutes walk away, without having to walk down into town. The Castle also serves breakfast. There is an excellent Co-Op supermarket 5 minutes walk away which is open everyday from 6am to 10pm.
On the ground floor is the kitchen/diner and living room. The kitchen is well equipped; from kitchen scales and sharp knives to garlic crushers and hand mixer. There is an induction hob, electric fan assisted oven, cooker hood, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, small microwave and coffee machine.
The sitting room, has a TV, DVD player, comfortable sofa and armchair and is perfect for relaxing in the evening in front of the gas effect fire. There is a cupboard containing a few board games, children's toys, DVD's and novels. The first floor has a shower room with toilet, basin and shower and a bedroom with kingsize bed, floor length curtains and black out curtains. . On the second floor there are two single (3ft) beds which can be made into a superking. There are black-out blinds on the velux windows and reading lights next to the bed. The bed linen is all high quality cotton. The bath and hand towels are all thick, white and fluffy. The house is gas centrally heated.
I like my guests to feel completely at home, and so the cupboards are stocked with basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil for cooking. I also supply milk and one or two bits and pieces for the beginning of each stay.
