A modern and comfortable apartment within a complex. Three double bedrooms , one has twin beds ( all bedrooms are fully air-conditioned). The king size master bedroom has en suite facilities. Additional family shower room, fully equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining room and balcony overlooking large pool. Satellite TV/24,24hr security . Maid service ( 3 times a week). All main doors and windows are fitted with mosquito nets for additional comfort The complex includes a free tennis court , a small gym and is only five minutes walk to the golden beach of Flic en Flac. Situated in close proximity to banks, boutiques, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants and bus routes . This home from home offers very affordable relaxation . Transfer to and from airport can be arranged . This apartment is managed locally by a nice English speaking lady who can also help in arranging excursions, car hire etc. . The accommodation is Licensed and conforms to Mauritius Tourist Board regulations

Hi Michel

Sorry for not contacting you before, catching up is my only excuse.

Paul, mother and I would like to thank you very much for allowing us to use your apartment for the holiday. We had a wonderful time.

The journey, both ways were excellent. No problems at all. The flight out seemed to take a lot longer though. Journey back was far better and we arrived on time even though we were in a stack to land at Heathrow.

Primrose is a gem. what a lovely lady she is. so kind, generous and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her

The apartment beautiful. So spacious and comfortable. We immediately felt right at home.

You were right about the immediate area. The shop was at the end of the road, ideal for fresh bread every morning and the restaurants the same, perfect to help walk off the beautiful food.

We went to the restaurants you suggested and the one at the end of the road. Bois Nior was by far the preferred choice though. Thank you for that advice.

We managed, with Primrose's help, to see the dolphins, and had a lovely day at sea.

We managed to get a hire car, in which time we toured as much of the island as we could. Mother was in raptures about the scenery. The island more than lived up to her expectations (as it did for us all). Although we saw quite a bit it was only a glimpse at best which has left us with a thirst for more.

Paul managed to get in his deep sea fishing. He shared the trip with one other couple .Paul managed to catch 2 large tuna, so was a very happy chappie indeed. For me, I took up snorkeling, Paul teaching me his diver skills, and managed to see some beautiful fish, including a pipe fish.something I had seen in tanks but not in the sea. Paul was much braver than I and went out a bit further and found a lion fish and swam with a turtle.

His snorkeling was made. Only problem was he was unable to record these events. Guess what's on the Xmas pressie list this year - an underwater camera.I have to sincerely thank you all for the chance of this fantastic holiday. For me I had the pleasure of seeing my husband, happy and relatively free from pain, relaxed and thoroughly enjoying himself and a mother in law who was extremely happy with her lot. Comfort, good food and plenty of it (mum assures us she doesn't eat a lot - but you know what Bois Nior serves up and her plate was empty). What's the saying my belly's full and my heart is glad.

Now for the crunch. Please, please, please, can we go again? We all fell in love with the island and would love to go back next year. If this is possible, we really would like to go again and really explore.

Again many, many thanks for the opportunity and we are really grateful to you. We have many pictures but have the scope for many more.

Why Michel Limpinnian chose Mauritius

This is an spacious property and very well designed . It have a great garden and the swimming pool is among the largest in the country and also has a baby/children pool The newer properties tend to be much smaller with very small pool . My apartment face directly to the pool and in a great position and from there you can observe practically everything especially supervising the children if they are in the pool

The close access to the beach , supermarket and shops makes it an ideal location

What makes this apartment unique

Spacious , even with 6 persons , you never feel cramped inside or outside . As you walk in , you get the sense of being at home and also feel relaxed .The apartment is very well equipped

Our week in Mauritius

I didn't want to write a review because if I'm honest about how good it was, everyone will want to go and it'll be booked when we want to return! The apartment was very clean and kept so by a maid who visits 3 times a week. It was well equipped with a large fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, aircon in each of the 3 bedrooms etc. My own favourite features were having 2 bathrooms and the swimming pool just outside. I was in the pool every morning, usually I had it all to myself.

Often these places don't look so good in real life as in the pictures but this was better than the pictures! The rooms were all larger than I had imagined. The weather was perfect, not too hot and not cold. It rained sometimes but usually at night. We tried the Bois Noir restaurant that was recommended. We had to wait a while for our food but when it arrived it was very good and the main course and a beer only cost about £5 each. The only negative things I can say are that there were occasional power and water cuts but this was general to the area and not the fault of the apartment. It didn't seem to cause a problem though and I can certainly recommend le Dattier for it's comfort, pool and local facilities. The beach is just down the road, white sand, bits of coral, turqoise sea and because it's in the west, sunsets over the sea. Yes, we'd like to go back!

Beautiful and relaxing place

We rent the apartment for two weeks in April 2014.

Right from the first contact, the communication of the owner was perfect. She answered all my questions. Also, on-site, everything was managed perfectly.

The description of the apartment is absolutely correct. The appartment was very clean and beautiful. You also get a cleaning service up to three times a week free of charge!

From the balcony you have a very nice view over the wonderful and large pool. We enjoyed our dinner there many times watching the rising of the moon! :-)

About 4 minutes by walk you can find a supermarket, shops and restaurants. 2 more minutes then you will be at the wonderful beach or at a scuba diving center!

The great thing is even you are not far away from all the restaurants and beach, it is a very quite place. And since the complete complex is watched by a security, it is a safe place, too.

We definitely can recommend this apartment!!!

It was a beautiful and very relaxing stay and we will definitely choose this apartment again when we are coming back to Mauritius!

Appartement parfait pour séjour avec enfants

Voyageant avec 2 enfants en bas âge, nous avons passé 3 semaines de rêve dans ce bel appartement, avec ses 3 grandes chambres, ses 2 salles de bains et sa cuisine parfaitement équipée. L'appartement est idéal: propre, clair, confortable, bien entretenu, équippé (y compris wifi, lecteur dvd et bouquet satellite francophone), situé dans une résidence elle-même très bien entretenue, à quelque 200m des commerces et de la plage. La piscine est très grande et très propre quoique pas chauffée.

Le propriétaire a gentiment mis à notre disposition un lit bébé, une chaise haute et un transat, ce qui nous a évité de les transporter.

Primrose, la manager, a été très attentionnée tout au long de notre séjour et était toujours de bon conseil pour des excursions, par exemple.

En vacances, nous avons apprécié le ménage fait 3 fois par semaine!

En outre, nous avons apprécié de pouvoir profiter de Flic en Flac, petit bourg tranquille, avec une plage parfaite pour les enfants et ppint de départ de nombreuses excursions.

Bref, une adresse que nous recommandons et où nous reviendrons probablement!

Wonderful!

A wonderful flat in which you find everything you need (pool, wifi etc).

It is very quiet, safe, clean and very comfortable.

Beach is 5 minutes far from the flat.

We enjoyed this holiday especially for the comfort of this flat and for the distance to the seaside. the woman Primrose is very kind and she will help you to have a better experience in Mauritius: she will organize excursions for you and everything you need for the holiday.

I suggest to choose it for the good price in comparison to the comfort that you find there.

Our family holiday of a lifetime

We had been planning this holiday for the whole family for over three years. I was apprehensive when we arrived as I wanted this to be a perfect holiday for my family, I should not have worried. Le Dattier was perfect. it was close to the shops, bars and restaurants and of course the wonderful beach but still remained peaceful and secluded. Michel's apartment was exactly as shown on the internet. We were not met by his manageress as she was ill but as soon as she was able she met us and ensured that we wanted for nothing. Primrose and her happy band of helpers were friendly and very helpful. I had been concerned about a previous review which said the pool was poor. Not at all the case. each morning a gentleman was out early cleaning and servicing the pool, it was a blue as the pictures and my grandchildren and their parents had a fantastic time in it. I cannot recommend this complex enough. I felt secure there due to the security staff. everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic Holiday so thank you Michel and all the staff. We will be returning as soon as we can.

Superbe Holidays in Mauritius

We spent two weeks in Flic en Flac, which is truly a little paradise!

The apartment ís very comfortable with enough room for a family. Living room and especially kitchen are equipped with everything needed. The pool just on your doorstep invites you for a swim before or after a day at one of the most beautiful beaches, just a few footsteps away.

A BIG thank you to Michel and Primrose! They were very helpful.

We recommend to rent a car to go around and see all the beautyful places of the island. We enjoyed these days very much and we hope to come back soon. Highly recommended.
