This cabin is as comfortable as the photos show. Shop in town for all your groceries because once you get here, you may not want to leave. Well equipped and nicely decorated. Surrounded by trees, it's a welcome break from the summer heat and humidity .
We had a great stay here. The owners were very nice and answered all questions quickly. Will stay here again on our next planned trip. Great location.
We absolutely loved staying at this cabin! A great little getaway for me, my husband and five-year old daughter. She loved the loft bedroom; we loved the outdoor patio. The cabin has a kitchen with pots and pans, utensils, etc. so we didn't need to eat out at restaurants unless we wanted to. Our daughter enjoyed watching classic Disney movies on VHS. There was reading material and board games available, as well as linens, towels, and a washer and dryer so we didn't have to bring home a bunch of dirty clothes at the end of the week. Dragon's Tail, gem mining for kids, artisan and thrift shopping, white water rafting and amazing sights are all activities that could be done in a day. We went there to visit friends who own a honey business in Robbinsville (Wehrloom Honey) - great place to souvenir shop and they are building an observatory next to the store. The cabin owners are attentive, accommodating and as friendly as they come. We will definitely be renting this cabin again and highly recommend it to those looking to stay in this beautiful area.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at this cabin. It has everything you need to cook, sleep, etc. It is comfortable, and I found nice reading material, plus the satellite tv. We went at the peak of Autumn, and the scenery is breathtaking. It was nice to walk around the mountain community. There is much to enjoy in the area. White water rafting, exploring, and the nearby Tail of the Dragon attracts many a thrill seeking motorcycle or performance car enthusiast. Robbinsville is just down the road for those who need a daily fix of wi-fi, available at McDonalds and other places. Lynn's Place is a wonderful restaurant. Be sure to get the peanut butter pie! The hosts of the cabin are easy going and wonderful to work with. We will be back!
This cabin was as described if not better. The pictures portray it as it actually is. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and it was nice not to have the internet for a few days. My husband found a book on the Civil War and read it while we were there. There were games, books, movies and satellite TV and our IPhones using Verizon worked inside and outside the cabin. The furniture is very comfortable to include the beds and the linens and towels are very nice. It was quiet and relaxing. Being close to Robbinsville was nice as we could go to the store if necessary. We will definitely go back. The owners were very accommodating and easy to work with.
We had a wonderful time at this home above the lake. The drive was beautiful and it was nestled above the lake kind of secluded but yet in view of everything. it was very clean and decorated up so adorable. The home had everything available for any length stay. We will definitely be back!! Thanks The Hensarlings and Moore's
Raft the Nantahala river and the new Cheoah river (check for times that they open the water). Also ride the famous "Dragon's Tail" of highway 129.
