Spacious Provencal house, 300 ft from the beach, for 10 to 12 people, in a quiet and leafy environment with an open outlook.

One floor-house, 170 m2 (560 square ft) made of 5 double bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, two bathrooms, two toilets, a big laundry room. Sleeping equipment: 4 double beds, 2 single beds, one sofa bed in the living room.

Around the house, there's a small 400 m2 (1312 square ft) garden with a lawn to relax on reclining chairs, a vast terrace in the arbor, a big ceramic table for 12 people or more and a barbecue.

Private parking space for 2 cars.

Beautiful house great stay

Amazing house in a great location with great facilities.

We were a group of 11 which was accommodated well, ideally I would say that the house would comfortably best suit a group size of 10.

Mathieu was very friendly and a genuinely great guy was very helpful and accommodating, even dropping off 3 of the group at the airport on our last day, Thank you for that.

It was a pleasure to stay in your home for our holiday, if we were to return to Nice we defiantly book to stay there again.

The only negative I could think of was the tiger mosquitos which we had to buy different repellent as the standard stuff did not work which we figured out after a few days and many bites, thank you again Mathieu for recommending a product that actually worked (5 in 5 repellent).

A delightful chic and stately villa with plenty of French character set in a lovely residential area

What a fabulous location this beautiful villa is situated in. It is convenient for local shops (5 minutes walk away) and the same walk for bus transport to Nice , Monaco and Cannes. The property is clean, well maintained and is also just a ten minute walk away from the marina and promenade where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to suit anyone. In addition the "CAP 3000" shopping centre is only a 15 minute walk away and the new shops at the "Polygon Riviera" only 15 minutes by bus. The St.Laurent Du Var rail station is also nearby. My wife and I have been coming to this area for the past 5 years for short breaks but up until this stay have only stayed in local hotels. On this occasion as we were staying for 14 nights with 6 people in total so we decided that a villa would be more comfortable and this certainly proved to be the case. The accommodation is very spacious indoors and outdoors with the recent addition of a swimming pool outdoors which is a godsend in the warm weather.

Matthieu Chappelait the owner is very personable and a lovely guy all round. He was there to greet us and came by appointment to the villa after a week to tend to cleaning the swimming pool. He made himself available if anything cropped up but got that balance down to perfection of leaving you to enjoy your holiday but knowing you could get in touch if any issues cropped up which didn't occur in any case. Matthieu also took you around the villa and made sure you were ok with any devices you needed to operate in his absence after the intial greeting. The bikes and the table tennis in the outside area are a great outlet and we did make use of both facilities as well as the barbecue which was great fun !

I would recommend this villa and Matthieu the owner without hesitation. If you book this villa you will be assured of a great stay and a very attentive and caring owner who will go out of his way to make sure you enjoy your holiday. My wife and I are already discussing returning to stay at the villa with some of our family in the next few years !

Great, comfortable house, better than the pictures

More than enough room for our group of six adults. Very quiet, never heard noise from nearby airport. Well equipped kitchen and one great bathroom (others fine, a bit small). Bikes needed a tune-up, but two of them worked well for my daughter and I to take them to old town. A bit of a distance for me (I'm mid-50s, not very fit), but no problem for my daughter. Table tennis was fun, unique feature. Nice backyard, very private. Good restaurants, bakery, butcher, grocery store within easy walking distance. Matthieu was very helpful (very little French-speaking skills within our group, his English skills are very good). Location is a bit out-of-the-way if you plan to spend your time near the Nice city center (think you need a car to stay here... but we didn't have time to experiment with public transportation) -- size and comfort of house make up for the distance. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Fantastic House and location

The property is lovely - well maintained and equip with everything you would need for a wonderful stay. Ours was a party of 9 friends - a mixture of couples and singles and we had a wonderful week.

The location of the house is perfect for visiting Nice, Antibes, Cannes and Monaco. The public transport links are great not to mention that the airport is less than 2 miles away.

The owner is superb and everything was arranged swiftly and with no problems - giving a great tour of the property on arrival and always at your disposal should their be a problem.

We would recommend anyone thinking about booking this house to go ahead - you will not regret and will have a wonderful time.

Great holiday. Home from home

We stayed for 3 weeks in September and had a wonderful holiday. There were 7 adults plus a baby.

We were greeted on our arrival at the house and shown around, which was very useful. The villa is lovely and very homely. Gorgeous from the outside and spacious and nicely, not to mention, quirkily decorated on the inside with every cooking utensil you could ever want in the kitchen. The dining room and lounge had plenty of seating and were comfortable and airy.

The garden is attractive and we used the gas bbq practically every evening, with the owner supplying the gas. We ate all of our meals outside around the large table on the terrace under the pretty wisteria pergola.

There is a little shop close by where we bought our pain au chocolates and baguettes every morning and a Spar about a 10min walk away. The rest of our shopping was done at the large Casino supermarket about a 15 minute drive away. This had an excellent selection, but nothing is cheap in the South of France, except perhaps for the beer and wine.

The villa is fantastically close to the pebbly beach (you will need aqua shoes) and the harbour with many restaurants, so that provided us with lots of flexibility which with a big group and a baby was great. The harbour looks very attractive lit up at night time. Bear in mind when eating out that even if you go for a set menu the alcohol is very expensive in the restaurants.

Also provided by the villa are 4 bikes with locks and so we were able to cycle in to Nice for the day, and cycle up and down the seafront in the designated bike lanes, which proved a good way to explore.

Throughout our holiday the owner was extremely helpful and supplied us with a baby cot and high chair which saved us having to bring them ourselves.

The weather was perfect for the first 2 weeks but there were a couple of short lived storms in the third week, but this did not spoil the holiday as it soon dried up again and enabled us to do more exploring of the pretty villages nearby, rather than just going to the beach every day.

The only negative was the mosquitoes. We all got bitten day and night, so use anti-mosquito sun lotion, use spray and light a candle for the terrace at night and buy plug-ins for the bedrooms.

Apart from the mosquito bites it was a 10 out of a 10 holiday from us all.

Traumhaft schön

Wir haben ein paar wunderbare Tage in diesem traumhaften Haus verbracht. Im Haus wären sämtliche Küchenutensilien vorhanden, der Vermieter war genauso bezaubernd wie sein Haus und immer hilfsbereit, wenn wir Fragen hatten.

Die Zimmer sind herzlich und modern eingerichtet, genauso wie die Bäder.

Im Außenbereich gibt es eine wunderschöne Sitzecke, Gartenmöbel und einen beheizten Pool, der (wenn man möchte) in verschiedenen Farben leuchtet.

In der Nähe befindet sich ein kleiner Nahrungsmittelladen (die Verkäuferin spricht deutsch) und die Bushaltestelle ist fußläufig in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen, genauso wie der Hafen mit seinen Restaurants und der Strand.

Wir können dieses Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen!!!
