There are two spacious bedrooms equipped with high quality bedding, one double room with king size bed, Smart TV and hanging space. The second large twin bedded room has a chest of drawers, TV point and chair. A modern shower room with basin, toilet and shaver point is also on the first floor.
There is a washing machine and Table tennis table in the garage.
To the rear of the cottage is a area with patio furniture, large lawns and parking.
The cottage is ideally located for visitors to the Royal International Air Tattoo and it is only a 8 minute walk to one of the main entrance gates. The air show is one of the UK's premier outdoor shows which takes place annually 8-10 July 2016. During the thrilling 7.5 hour flying displays visitors can see fast jets, giant transporters, historic aircraft and much more. Our proximity to the runway means we are able to see many of these flying displays without having to venture too far from home!
In the village we are lucky enough to have a typical Cotswold village pub, "The Old Spotted Cow" with its log fires, craft beers and delicious home made meals. This is situated only 300 meters away.
Marston Meysey is a sleepy, Cotswold village with its pub, church, village hall and pathways. The historic towns of Oxford, Bath, Cheltenham and Gloucester are all within a 45 minute drive. Closer to home are the wool towns of Fairford (5 minutes drive) and Cirencester (20 minutes drive) with their famous churches. Other picturesque local villages include Lechlade, Burford, Bibury, and Bourton-on-the-Water, to name but a few. The Cotswold Wildlife Park is 20 minutes drive. The Cotswold Water Parks are on the doorstep with 150 lakes. For those who enjoy the natural environment, there are 10 lakes of "special scientific interest". The remaining lakes offer activities for everyone, including wakeboarding, windsurfing, inflatable rides, water skiing, fishing, sailing, walking and cycling.
