"The cottage is beautifully presented and perfectly formed with everything you could need for a long of short stay. Tucked away from the road, the cottage is quiet and comfortable and perfectly situated for all manner of walks and it certainly made a perfect base for us as we spent 4 days exploring the Peak District "

"Snug, stylish, spotless. Close to many cafes and restaurants and Chatsworth Farm Shop should you not want to cook. Highly recommend Cosy Corner for a relaxing , comfortable break for two“Beautiful weekend retreat”

My parents booked this trip for me and my husband for a wedding gift. The cottage is absolutely stunning, just the perfect size for 2 people looking for a romantic weekend away ... we could have stayed longer if we didnt have to come back for work! Perfect as a base to explore the peak district, or even if you just want to stay in and cook a nice meal. Whole place is kitted out with everything you could possibly need, even conditioner in the bathroom! The place was immaculate and the photos really dont do it justice. Loved Cosy Corner, and will definitely be returning at some point. thank you x

(Arrival days are Fridays and Mondays.

Only weekly bookings are taken Friday to Friday in August.)

Perfect Cosy Cottage for Two to Escape to the Countryside!

  • 5 of 5

Beautifully furnished and decorated. Lovely Owner Liz has thought of every little detail and the kitchens has all you could need as a home from home. Tea and coffee for our late night arrival was very appreciated. Comfy soft bed and a modern bathroom with toiletries. It is very peaceful to sleep at night. Baslow is so very charming and the cottage is perfectly placed to enjoy the pubs and restaurants in the village as well as the numerous stunning walks. Chatsworth Estate is just a lovely walk away. Loved this cosy cottage. Perfect for two of us wishing to escape the daily grind and hustle and bustle of the south!

Thank you Liz.

We will definitely return next year! :)

It is exactly as described, a cosy corner cottage

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the cottage for 3 nights 25th - 28th May and it was as described, a cosy corner cottage. Liz has thought of everything that is required for a home from home place to stay. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the little extras like tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were much appreciated. The location is ideal for visiting the surrounding area and the walk to Chatsworth House was very pleasant, especially as the weather was so good. I would recommend the cottage to anyone thinking of staying in this area. Thank you Liz

Loved our two night birthday getaway at this perfect cottage. The cottage has everything needed for a quaility stay. Liz has thought of everything to make our stay relaxing and memorable. Although we experienced heavy snow it didn't stop us getting some fabulous walks in and made our stay even more special. We will be back with bikes in to work next time!
