The large rooms, the elevator and central location make this home particularly suitable for families with children and / or elderly people who can enjoy the gardens and playground located right outside the entrance.
Our group of 5 adults had a lovely time staying in this flat. Its incredibly well located in a central piazza and well furnished. There is plenty of room, the kitchen is well kitted out and the double beds are very wide and comfortable. Carla gave us plenty of information before we arrived and Roberto settled us in nicely, letting us know about the best restaurants to frequent and about the walking pass. Thank you!
If you want to be in Old Town Monterosso near the beach, restaurants, supermarket, ferry and about 400 meters from the train station this is the place. It is across the street from the Town Hall on Garibaldi Plaza. The apartment is large and has a clothes washer, but no wifi.
Carla e-mailed us useful maps before we arrived and met us in Garibaldi Plaza. She was very helpful in showing us places to eat, the supermarket, etc.
From this central location we went into Old Town for some great meals and took the ferry to other Cinque Terre towns. When in this area of Italy again we will definitely want to stay here.
We are a group of four older women ( over 60) traveling through northern Italy. The apartment was perfect with three bedrooms and everyone had their own bed. We bought groceries for breakfasts, used the washing machine for laundry - hanging it outside to dry, and used the elevator for our luggage and if we were too tired to walk up the stairs. The shower is very, very small, but all showers in Europe are small and the property was immaculate. I would highly recommend staying with Carla; she was prompt in replying to emails, met us at the apartment when we arrived, and was there to refund our deposit when we left.
We spend a week in the Carla's apartment. Very large apartment for the family of 4 people. It has everything you need, it's a real home away))) We would like to come back. Very easy check in and out procedure. The owner Carla is a very nice person. Thank you very much!
Centrally located in Monterosso with comfortable accommodations and all amenities with no problems getting or dropping off keys. We had 8 couples for 2 nights and 3 couples for 2 nights and it worked out fine.
Notes: There is one bathroom to share, it is in town which is the plus so there is noise from the street but we got used to that quickly, there is a also train noise but I don't think you will get away with that in any of the towns. To us this was all part of the experiences and we just loved it and would have stayed the full week if we hadn't already planned to be in Rome.
Cinque Terre is absolutely gorgeous, get on the trails, take a private boat ride with Stefano, drink and eat, check out the mausoleums at the top and wonder about the people who have lived here, enjoy the views, wine tasting at Buranco was especially nice as it was just out of town but felt like it was in the country side.
Wishing I was back there again!
the house is in a limited traffic zone.
A wide range of shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance. In summer there are many events and entertainment show.
From the pier of the old town depart daily boats to the coast of the Cinque Terre, Porto Venere, Portofino, or you can rent rafts or boats and tourist fishing trips.
