Cyprus For A Perfect Holiday:-: Cyprus is the third largest Island in the Mediterranean, it is an island of beauty and a country of contrasts. Cool, pine-clad mountains are a complete scene-change after golden sun-kissed beaches. Tranquil, timeless villages are in striking contrast to modern cosmopolitan towns. Luxurious beach side hotels can be exchanged for large areas of natural unspoilt countryside. Yet in Cyprus all distances are easily manageable, mostly on modern roads and highways - with a secondary route or two for the more adventurous. The summers are long and hot, fruit trees buckle under the weight of their bounty as do the vines, the grapes of which go into producing some fine local wines. The Island has long been of great strategic importance and boasts the legacy of many of its occupying empires, fortifications built by the Crusaders still stand. A holiday here is idyllic, there is lots to see and plenty to do, the welcome is warm and the weather likewise.
Local Shopping:-: Part and parcel of any holiday is the question of what to take home. Leather is very good value. The shoe shops stock up-to-date styles at very reasonable prices. Handbags, suitcases and jackets are a good bargain. Shoes and jackets, as well as men's suits and shirts, can be made-to-measure within a week or so. Handicrafts abound on every shopping street. A good spot to view them is the Cyprus Handicraft Centre in Lefkosia, with retail shops in every town. Small items of the distinctive, traditional pottery make good gifts, and so does Cyprus copper ware and filigree silver. Always popular is the beautiful 'Lefkaritika' or ' Lefkara Lace'. Folkweave, needle and crochet work, woodwork and basketwork are a few more of the things visitors like to take home with them, not to mention Cyprus brandy which can be bought by the demijohn, Commandaria and even Halloumi - the Cyprus cheese.
Golfing:-: Paphos is the new jewel in the crown for golfers seeking golf breaks in the warmth of the eastern Mediterranean. It offers golfers challenging world class championship courses, warm hospitality and almost year round sunshine. There are three 18 hole golf courses to choose from. Tsada Golf Club which is just 20 minutes from Paphos town, 550 meters above sea level to ensure cool breezes during the summer months. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6,060 meters. The Secret Valley Golf Club is 18 kilometres east of Paphos lying within a scenic valley and offers panoramic views. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6,120 meters. The Aphrodite Hills Golf Complex is a unique up-market experience The Award Winning Golf course is located near to the birthplace of Aphrodite, only 2 mins from the main Limassol-Paphos highway. The course is in a fantastic setting on 2 plateaux, 300m metres high. It plays to a Par 71 and measures 6,665 metres.

As I have stated my family rented all 3 of Julie's apartments on the same complex, they all offered amazing value with well cared for, maintained and clean family accommodation. For the cost you could not ask for more both by Julie in service and at the apartments on arrival, this is Cyprus as Julie reminded me and things do not always run as smoothly as we are used to here in Britain, but everything you could want is on hand and you don't have to go more than 30 steps to reach the swimming pool which was very quiet and suited us all. We had a good cd player and a huge supply of music to please any taste, there was also a tv which played dvd's if you wanted to watch a movie again a large selection of dvd's is provided by Julie and her family.
Our apartment was ground floor which was great as my mother in law is in a wheelchair the apartment is large enough and all on one level to cope with this limitation. The covered front terrace is great to sit and have a drink which we did most days and evenings, though the main road runs by this did not bother us at all. The complex is very quiet and private but only a couple of minutes by car to the lovely Corallia bay beach and a couple of minutes up the hill to Peyia village which has many places to eat and drink including the famous Peyia Tavern, The Grande and the mill all of which we eat or drank in.
We hired as car (people carrier) as Julie suggested and it was invaluable allowing us the full benefit of sharing a huge family meze at "Yialos" overlooking the stunning rugged waters of the bay or dancing with one of the weekly live acts at "Neo's", none of which can be easily reached on foot in the evenings. There are closer taverna's which you could walk to but driving is very easy the same as we drive in the UK, which makes you a bit lazy, but that is what a holiday is all about!!
We had a great time and would suggest these apartments to anyone especially those on a a budget it is not a 5 star resort but a hone from home indeed.

I have just returned from a two week stay in these apartments and I cannot speak highly enough of the accommodation, the local area and the communication and help from Julie.
We rented two apartments from Julie and both were absolutely immaculate. The properties were spotless, beautifully furnished and were a real home from home. The children made the most of the lovely swimming pool, just yards from the apartments, and most days we had it all to ourselves.
From my first enquiry with Julie back in February time, until the day of our holiday she was so helpful and knowledgeable, responding almost immediately to any e-mails! Julie arranged our car hire, gave directions and recommendations for lots of places to visit and restaurants to try.
Being an adventurous family who like to explore we made use of the car and visited many areas of the Island. We particularly liked Latchi and the beach at Argios Georgious, but also went to Limassol for a day (the waterpark), and to the Archaeological sites in Kourion and Paphos. We ventured to many of the beautiful churches and a monasteries, sampled wine in a local vineyard, bathed in the Adonis waterfalls, and saw the castles at Kolossi and Paphos. We also found time to lie on the beaches at Coral Bay and Corallia - both great.
Our favourite restaurant was Savvas Grill, a short walk from the apartment, where we were treated to a display of traditional Cypriot dancing, along with great local food. However, we also ate in many of the restaurants in Coral Bay and Paphos harbour, and were impressed by the quality, service and prices everywhere we went.
I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone wishing to spend time on the beautiful island of Cyprus, and I'm sure we will return.

We had a lovely time in this apartment
There was 3 of us in the party - 2 adults and 3 yr old
The apartment was clean and tidy and provided all the necessary requirements for the week
There was a brochure with all the pplaces to visit in Cyprus and especially good places to eat
The pool was kept clean and we used this every day after being down at the beach
The other residents were all helpful and very friendly - I would recommend a visit
We had an excellent holiday. The flat in Peyia, just west of Paphos, was exactly what we were expecting. There was plenty of space for the two of us, a simple layout, clean and well maintained, with all the facilities we needed. The pool outside was a lovely addition and we used it every evening. As the temperature was up to 38C the week we stayed, the air conditioning was frequently in use.
The owner provided good directions from the airport and gave us an emergency contact in Peyia, which we did not have to use. There is also a helpful folder in the flat with details of places to visit and to eat at. Peyia is very convenient and has a range of local shops where we could find what we needed, grocers and chemist etc.
We would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends and relatives.
We hired a car from the airport and used it to travel around the area including Paphos, Polis, Limassol and Nicosia. The roads are all very good, and travel is on the left, making driving very easy.
We enjoyed visiting and exploring ancient sites, museums and churches. There are lots of good places to eat and a choice of cuisines near the flat and wider afield. Everyone we met was very welcoming and friendly.
What a lovely apartment in a lovely part of Cyprus.
The apartment itself was very big for a 1 bedroom apartment, it had anything and everything you could need or want to make it a proper home from home whilst you are on holiday.
Bedroom was ginormous, with doors opening to the communal swimming pool, lounge/diner/kitchen area was again huge.
Peyia itself is only 5 minutes drive from Coral Bay with a lovely sandy beach.
Julie could not have been more helpful, answering all my queries prior to leaving for Cyprus.
Within a private Complex close to the pretty semi rural village of Peyia which offers relaxing and traditional hospitality with a feel for village life. Quietly siutated between Peyia and Coral Bay & Corralia Sandy beaches (2 min drive) With a huge variety of bars, restaurants & 15min drive from Paphos & its Harbour. Coral /Corralia Beaches 'BEST IN THE WEST' Peyia is the ideal location for a perfect relaxing holiday, with a variety Tavernas, Bars & Restaurants serving Cypriot & International cuisine, often accompanied by live music and dancing. with shops, Banks and supermarkets at the centre of the village. There are many places of interest in the region including Agios Georgios, Aphrodite Falls & Lara Beach. Car hire is highly recommended to properly explore the region and as Peyia village is a 30 min (2 minutes by car) walk away with all the amenities you would need on your vacation. However hiring a car is easy and relatively inexpensive, We can arrange a rental car to be available for pick up and drop off at the airport terminal.
