We are pleased to present our house in 83510 Lorgues in the Var (France).

Town on the border of Provence Verte, Haute-Provence and Provence Southern, at 37km from the beautiful sea (not yours, but that of the Mediterranean), you will stay in a haven of peace, close to major centers of interests such as the Gorges du Verdon and its majestic site (cliffs over 700m., ideal to introduce your stepmother to paragliding!), Quinson and its museum of prehistory (the largest in Europe, you may lose if you know who I'm talking about ...!)Saint-Tropez and beaches of Pampelonne (for a glimpse of the jet set!)And the cities of Marseille and its extravagance, Toulon and its harbor, Nice, old neighborhoods (classy!) and its carnival, fair and Menton lemons, Monaco and his palace, without forgetting Fréjus the "Roman" and its immense sandy beaches (not pebbles) and its blazing sun on St. Aygulf - Les Issambres - Ste Maxime (the have-have redness on stepmother!).

Our villa (classified 4 stars by the prefecture since 2002) is independent but not isolated (security), has all the comforts of a modern residence (see rental form in the appendix), is located on a landscaped and wooded (palms - olive - laurel) of 5265m², in a cul-de-sac away from main roads, can accommodate 8 people + 2 extra beds 1 Baby bed and the use of E. PO in our little corner of paradise is not yet outlawed (Water - Pastis - Olives).

Guests enjoy relax by the poolside (keep an eye on stepmother!)Fully fenced and secure (alarm) to the latest standards in force (possibility of closing all access to young children and husbands who are too driven to the pub!)With an area of ​​+/- 60m (L: 12m x 5m x P l .: 0.80 m to + de2, 10m.), Good enough to not feel like a goldfish in its bowl. The pool areas are maintained and cleaned every 2 to 3 days per our piscinist (early morning. 6 - 7am ​​...), well before your alarm ... or your lying (it's up to you!).

Our prices are tax (Very Very Expensive, not kidding ... though!) and include: regular cleaning of the pool areas, cleaning at end of stay, charges "water-electricity", local taxes, the provision (for the brave): a ping table tennis, five mountain bikes (we provide the hardware, you bring the energy required to run!), A bowling alley (and I have the balls to go with!), A badminton (equipment on site ... too), basketball hoop and ball, weight machine (biceps insured) and deckchairs and hammocks (for the less adventurous like me, it is the holiday anyway!)Our little "toddlers" are not forgotten with 2 gantry swings - slide - strings and a sandbox. The good mood and the sun are included as well as water in the pool to you courtesy of the house! 

This idyllic place will enchant you with its calm, you will stay in VIP class (True Invitation to Sloth), just disturbed by the sound of cicadas and the dives of your little ones, everything will magnificence around you for a bright room.

The property was nice and well equipped . We arrived late in the night and on arrival we had to make up our beds which was a bit of a nuisance . The caretaker was a lovely man but no English also as the contract was in French we over looked that they didn't provide bath linen another 1st in our 10 years travelling to Lorgues "no towels ' .Anyway you live and learn .

Owner's Response: Navré que les locataires s'attendaient à des prestations hôtelières alors qu'ils avaient loués une simple Villa. J'estime aussi que le contrat en Français est normal pour une location en France et reprocher à mes voisins de ne pas parler Anglais à 78 ans est un peu mesquin, tout le monde n'a pas eu la chance de faire des études de langues, la preuve est que vous venez depuis dix ans à Lorgues et ne parlez toujours pas Français! Merci de votre passage.
