 Apartment, bright and quiet, perfect for families, couples, friends and lovers of urban tourism as it is a few minutes walk or public transport of all places of cultural interest such as museums: Thyssen Bornemisza, Reina Sofia Museum Prado, Caixa Forum, Teatro Price, etc. and El Retiro Park, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, etc.

It is located in a privileged area because you can walk to the famous Rastro (open air market) which takes place every Sunday and you can also taste both typical tapas and enjoy its nightlife in the neighborhood of La Latina, Lavapies Plaza Mayor and the famous 'neighborhood of the letters' also known as 'gardens'.

Great location for us. Barbara was the perfect host.

We were very happy with the apartment. It worked well for three people. The location to a Metro station and Atocha were perfect. Barbara was a great host and checked to ensure that all was going well and responded quickly to any questions we had. We would return to this location again.

Clean and comfortable

The apartment is as specified in the advert. Very clean and Barbara is so helpful. We stayed 2 nights and Barbara arranged secure parking for our car.Access to the city centre is easy from the apartment. The kitchen is well appointed but we ate out both nights so did not use any of the cooking facilities. It is situated on a busy road so can be noisy if you open the window at night, which we did on the first night but the second night we kept the window shut and used the a/c to keep cool.

Very nice apartment - recommend for seeing Madrid.

Great Location!

Very convenient location for having access to all of Madrid! City bus, train, tour bus, taxi stand, airport 24 hour bus, subway, etc. It is all right there or within a short walk! Made getting around Madrid a breeze! Nice neighborhood with restaurants, grocery store and shops. Apartment had plenty of room for this mother/daughter traveling duo! Well appointed and extremely functional. Owner (Barbara) was a pleasure to deal with! She was very helpful and responsive.

Good apartment but not ideal

Would fully agree with all the previous reviews for this apartment. If you enjoy the nightlife this is probably the apartment for you. For a family being located on a very busy main road the traffic noise throughout the night was just too much

Owner's Response: Dear Salvador, I use to talk with muy guest before to leave the apartment to know the opinions and you told me that everithing in my APARTMENT was really good and in your comment there is not anything bad about it, I mean, you don' t talk about my APARTMENT you talk about the city... and, until now, nobody told me something similar...but it is true... I agree with you for 2 reasons: 1.I would like to live in a small village with an amazing landscape and birds...but unfortunatly I live in a big city with a lot of amazing places to visit like museums, theatres, restaurants, stores, even with cars...belive me, Nobody else before told me anything similar,I mean, you can chek all the comments about my place(families, friends, and couples, wrote)...and you are the first guest who talk about the noise anf nightlife..(and sorry, but is very funny because the apt. is located in a quite street 15min. Walking from the nightlife area, belive me..you need to come back to visit Madrid again to know the real nightlife in Madrid). I think you live in a really really quite area (dessert or similar place) and of course, Madrid can be noisy but not much more than the others bigs cities.. In a few years , maybe, I will can buy another apartament, sorry a big house, to rent IT....an then, I will write you to invite you, to book, sure!!!.. 2. IT is true my APARTMENT IS located in a building and is NOT A HOTEL... I am sorry. Good luck with your future booking in private Apartments.

Great experience in Madrid

We really enjoyed meeting Barbara and staying at her apartment. The apartment is in excellent location, walking distance to everywhere. It is clean, well equipped, has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Barbara was very friendly and helpful. We lost our suitcase and she was helping us to talk to the airline to get it back. Thank you, Barbara! Would definitely stay again!

Great Situation and Very Kind Owner!

First we appreciated a lot Barbara punctuality, she was already there waiting for us at arrival time, and once again in time, at 5:30 am to check out (sorry for this early wake up).

Barbara is a very kind and helpful owner, always ready to help you if needed.

The apartment is spacious, well furnished, in a very quiet building.

Its situation is really great; many shops in the neighbourhood, Atocha and subways are really very close, Reine Sofia too.

I strongly recommend it, and know now where to go if in Madrid again.
