Overview

About the property

Piazza Largo del Pallaro is right in the center of historical Rome very close to the Campo de'Fiori, with its marvelous open-air market each morning where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, bread, fish and cheese to take home to your fully-equipped kitchen.

This bright and cheerful apartment is located near Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Piazza Farnese, and it's just a short walk to the Forum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps.

The apartment is on the second floor and is accessible by elevator. It is utterly pleasant and very unusual in this historical part of Rome to have a bright and quiet apartment with private outdoor terrace!

It is a sunny, loveable and recently-renovated apartment with blond wood floors and light in every room from the interior terrace, with its large retractable electric awning that makes it feel like an extra room — usually the dining room — in spring, summer and fall.

The rest of the apartment has a living room with WiFi, desk, TV, easy chair, wardrobe and sleep sofa for two people (the beds can be separate or together), modern eat-in kitchen with dishwasher, oven, gas stove, sink, washer, microwave and refrigerator, and a separate small guest bathroom accessed from the hall which has a shower, sink and toilet. The master bedroom has a queen bed, large closet and en-suite full bathroom with shower.

Amenities: air-conditioning, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi Internet access and satellite TV.

What makes this apartment unique

Staying in this apartment allows visitors to Rome to be in one of the most beautiful areas of the city. Piazza Navona!

From this position you are within easy walking distance of all the places and the most important monuments of the city. The apartment also has recently been renovated with care, it is very nice and bright thanks to a terrace that allows in the spring and summer to enjoy the sun and have an extra room to exploit.

Despite its central location the apartment is located in a quiet area....

Location! Location! Location!

  • 4 of 5

This very clean, private and quiet apt. with elevator is situated in a small square just off the lively Campo de Fiori. The apt. is just as pictured on the site. The apt. Is well equipped and comfortable with great wifi, plenty of hot water with good pressure ( although maintenance on both the modern showers drainage is needed) . Although the terrace has no view it is lovely for breakfast or dinner. There are good grocery stores, butchers, and bakeries very close plus you have the famous fruit and vegetable market in the Campo. Every major Roman site is within walking distance ! The manager was very helpful upon arrival but could communicate more promptly during the booking process and while one is staying at the apt.

Perfect localization, Campo di Fiori just around the corner

If you stay in Rome, you don't stay at the Apartament, so that flat gives you more than you need.

EXCELLENT location, clean and comfy!!

  • 4 of 5

This apartment is centrally located. We were able to walk to all the must see sights. Mike was very helpful upon arrival, offered directions and great restaurant recommendations. Clean, comfortable and well stocked. The patio does not have a view.

Great apartment

  • 5 of 5

This is a very nice apartment in a perfect location. It is well equipped, very clean, bright, and has outside space which is very nice and rare to find. Campo is 2 minutes away through a covered ally around the right side and a great butcher shop is also right there also.

The showers have good pressure and plenty of hot water; wi fi works very well and is fast, and the kitchen is completely equipped.

There is 1 bedroom with a comfortable bed and 2 bathrooms with showers. The elevator is great for helping get luggage up to the apartment but is really tiny for people to ride in.

Michele met us promptly at the arranged time and after a tour and explanation of details left us to ourselves.

We will definitely keep this place on our return list.

Wonderful apartment and nice welcome

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at this apartment with my boyfriend and 22 year old niece on our first trip to Rome. We stayed 5 nights. I was a little nervous when we arrived because it is the first time we went on trip in this arrangement. The apartment is nicely renovated and comfortable. It has 2 bathrooms, large glass doorways from every room open onto a great terrace, comfortable bedroom. Michele, and appartment manager Georgio prepared us a warm welcome. Georgio, was incredibly helpful, he gave us a map of the area with directions to the grocery store, fantastic pizza, gelato and dinner restaurants as well as suggestions on how to organize our days . The location is wonderful. You are right in the middle of everything. You can walk to most any site. We also went to the supermarket, 5 minutes away, and buy some food for breakfast. Our fligh back was late evening, so we had to store our bags somewhere for a few hours. Georgio, kindly allowed us to leave bags in the apartment and even provided us a ride to the airport. Conclusion, highly recommended. Thanks a lot Georgio. If we go back to Rome we will definitely want to stay here again.

Terrific, very old historical building with beautiful renovated apartment. A home away from home.

I stayed at this apartment with my 7 year old daughter and 18 year old son on our first trip to Rome. When I booked it online, I decided to stay 3 nights in this apartment and then go to a hotel for 3 nights in a different area of Rome. I did this because I wasn't sure if an apartment would be better or a hotel. Well, I wish I would have stayed the whole time in this apartment. The hotel, near the colosseum, was definitely not as nice as staying in this apartment, and the location can't be beat. I was a little nervous when we arrived upon seeing the outer doorway. It was so old and worn. But then I realized we were staying in a very, very old building that has been around for many years. Once you enter the apartment, you feel at home. It is nicely renovated and comfortable. It has 2 bathrooms and a washing machine!! Large glass doorways/windows open onto a great terrace. We felt like locals living in an apartment in Rome. The location is wonderful. You are right in the middle of everything. You can walk to most any site. We ( myself, my 18 year old and my 7 year old old) walked everywhere ( Vatican, Colosseum,Pantheon, every fountain, Trastevere, etc). You step out the door and immediately walk through an alley and you are in Campo di Fiori. We were so disappointed that we booked the hotel in the Colosseum neighborhood. It doesn't have the same homey feel as this location. We also went to the supermarket, 5 minutes away, and cooked one night. We felt so at home. Outside the front door, literally 5 steps away is a great restaurant, Trattoria der Pallaro. You must eat there. It feels like you are in an old Italian relative's house. There is no menu, they serve you a 5 course meal (whatever the chef cooks that day). It is delicious, homey and the staff is very friendly. It is the only restaurant that I really enjoyed in Rome. It felt so nice to be able to retreat to our Italian apartment after a long day of sightseeing. My kids loved the apartment. The building is historic and you can sense that when you enter the hallway ( marble, spiraling staircase). When we return to Rome, we definitely will only stay in this apartment. We felt "at home" and so comfortable. Also, I want to mention that a few yards away is a luggage storage place called "Stow your Bags". We had to check out early in the morning because we had to meet a tour guide at the Vatican. It was too early to check into hotel, so we left our bags there for a few hours. Terrific, professional service.
