This lovely apartment, with the luxury of two separate bedrooms and its own parking, enjoys an ideal quiet location in the picturesque alpine village of Kranjska Gora, a few minutes’ walk from some of best walking, cycling and skiing that Slovenia has to offer. It’s light and airy design, cleverly set over two floors, offers a well equipped entrance kitchen, an excellent family sized living room with a dining area and balcony. A well planned bathroom comes complete with power shower and washing machine, whilst the large master bedroom has ample storage, a mountain view and its own balcony. On the second floor is a good sized separate bedroom also with ample storage.

The apartment’s excellent location in the heart of Kranjska Gora offers great walking and cycling routes running directly from the village. Known for its family friendly ski school, excellent beginners skiing, summer sledging, aqua pool, walking, trekking, bike park, climbing and cycling, it’s the perfect year round base

About Krankska gora:: Surrounded by breath-taking mountain views and at the base of the stunning Vrsic Pass, Kranjska Gora is just a short drive from Lake Bled, Italy and Austria. The village has two well stocked supermarkets, two banks, post office and a great selection of local bars, cafes, pizzerias, cake shops and local restaurants.

The apartment is a great place for a walking or cycling group, families, couples, nature or adventure lovers and can be combined with the apartment next door, making it an ideal base for two families, couples or a group of friends holidaying together. Gorenjska is Slovenia’s mountain area famous for an amazing variety of fauna and flora, with its closeness to the River Soca a wide range of water activities can be enjoyed during your stay whilst trekking trips can be enjoyed with local, qualified guides. The excellent ski school has some of the best instructors in the country whilst cross country skiing, snow shoeing trips, snow biking, husky sledding and sledging are some of the extra activities that can be enjoyed in the winter season. Great family ski apartment

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment close to Kranjska Gora Centre. The apartment was spacious and brightly decorated with modern furnishings. The town centre was a short walk away. Ample storage for ski equipment at the apartment but also availability of lockers for hire at the foot of the ski slope.

Owners provide plenty of useful information about local amenities and were very helpful in answering any queries.

I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Big thank you

Even though we didn´t visit Kranjska Gora we would like to say a big thank you to the owner. My husband got very ill and was admitted to hospital with a prospect of having a surgery. It was about twenty days before our departure for vacation. We had to cancel our stay in Kranjska Gora. The owner was so very kind that we got a full refund! Thank you so much. We really hope we will be able to come another time.

just perfect

Just returned from Kranjska gora today and already missing the place. It was our first trip to Slovenia and it wont be our last! The apartment was perfect it had everything we needed its was very comfortable, The owner was quick at responding to emails and was very helpful, We cant wait to return.

Perfect Apartment for a Family Holiday

This is a spacious, modern and well maintained apartment in the centre of Kranska Gora. It is within walking distance of shops, supermarkets and excellent restaurants. There are stunning views from both balconies. There is lots to do in the area whether you want an active or relaxing holiday. We hired bikes and cycled along the trail that runs through the town into Italy. We went white water rafting, sped down the summer toboggan, drove to Slovenian and Austrian lakes and plenty more. The owner is very responsive to queries We had such a fabulous time we have booked again for next year. Would thoroughly recommend!

Great location for hiking and walk to restaurants

What a wonderful location. We are hikers by day and enjoy good food and wine by night. There are many great hikes from 5 mins away by car to over 90 minutes (Bled , Soca to name a couple). It was a perfect locatIon for us and those whom don't have a car there is a small bus station across the road . The apartment was clean , quiet and had a great view of the mountains. Literally 3 mins walk from centre of town , 30 secs from a great restaraunt . Highly recommend (we travel worldwide).

Affordable homy appartment

I have contacted the landlady to book ask few questions and to book the appartment for 4 of us.

The whole process was simple, really friendly and quick.

The landlady is sending you the keys with lots of information about the town, where to go to eat and ski.

Once we arrived at the appartment, we were all surprised how modern the appartment was (my favourite is the shower ), there are some tea and coffee that we were welcome to use.

The appartment was 5-7 mn away from the town centre where you can get your ski equipment, go for dinner... The location was great, espacially with a stunning view over the mountains, having a cup of tea with all of that by the window was priceless.

My boyfriend and I went snow walking to Italy (about half an hour) and husky mushing.

I don't usually leave reviews, as I must admit I am quite lazy. But the landlady was so sweet, the all thing was so unformal (you feel more like a guest than a tenant) and the appartment was superb... I just had to write one.

I have been recommending this place to everyone I know...

Slovenia is roughly the size and population of Wales, it joined the EU in 2004. The Euro was adopted as their formal currency in January 2007. Although Slovenia has its own language, English is widely spoken, and the people are so friendly, that a visitor will have no communication problems. The country has a vast amount to offer, from its alpine villages to its Mediterranean coastline. Ski: Kranjska Gora has a snow range of 809-1570m, is typically rated excellent for beginners and intermediate skiers. It is also host to a world cup slalom run. Ski area: 30 km. 13 blue runs, 4 red and 3 black. 17 lifts (4 chairlifts and 13 drag lifts). 46 snow cannons. Other activities include snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ice climbing and sleigh rides. The World Cup is held in Kranjska Gora in March each year, please check ski press for dates. Other skiing opportunities within a 1 hour drive of Kranjska Gora are: Bled, Bohinj, Bovec, Vogel, Tarvisiojust over the Italian border and Nassfeld in Austria.
