Come and recharge your batteries in Haute-Corse for a weekend, a week in a pretty stone house with four beds.
You will get there by a small dirt road, the accommodation is air conditioned and fully equipped, nestled in front of the Aiguilles de POPOLASCA and at the foot of Monte-Cinto (the highest peak in CORSICA), a splendid view from the accommodation and above all the calm absolute ....
The small village of Moltifao is in the heart of the Regional Park, ideal for walks and hikes (GR20) as well as for outdoor activities: Mouflon house, turtle village, via ferrata nearby ... but not only because 20 minutes (by car) from the accommodation you have the most beautiful beaches in BALAGNE (Lozari, Ostriconi, ...).
You will be 5 minutes walk from the gorges of ASCO.

Lovely home in one of the most beautiful places we've ever visited!

This is a very special part of the world. We have travelled all over the world and this truly may be the most beautiful area we've ever seen. If you are wanting to get away from it all and experience more rugged Corsica away from the beach resorts, this is an ideal place. Amazing mountaund, hiking or just walks in the woods are right outside your door. The mountains are amazing! The home itself is lovely. It's traditional stone on the outside but all the modern features on the inside. Great wifi, small but very functional kitchen and bathroom. It's perfect for two people or maybe two adults with 1 or 2 kids. The home is a bit outside of the town of Moltifao, about 25-30 minute walk or 5-10 minute drive. Its a beautiful little village but we were here in the off season and there wasnt much open in town. We would love to come back here again. The reservation process was a little complicated in that you can't just pay online with a credit card. You need to set up a bank transfer, which we actually were never successfully able to do. But Chris was very understanding and we ended up just paying in cash when we arrived. It would, however been much easier if it was set up to pay through HomeAway, even if it would have cost a bit more. That would be our only suggestion for this fantastic place. Merci Chris!

Sehr schöne Wohnung in toller Lage

Ein sehr schönes, kleines Haus, angebaut an ein Wohnhaus. Mitbewohner haben wir nie unangenhm wahrgenommen. Das Haus eignet sich ideal für 2 Erwachsene, ggf. noch 2 kleine Kinder (Schlafcouch im Wohnraum). Das Bad ist fein, aber sehr klein. Große Leibesfülle könnte zum Problem werden. Im Bad hatte die Gastgeberin wunderbare Handtücher, Waschlappen und Produkte von Yves Rocher bereitgestellt. Begrüßt wurden wir mit einer Flache korsischem Wein und korsischem Gebäck. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Im TK-Schrank befand sich Wildschwein, welches der Herr des Hauses erlegt hatte, dies war zur freien Verwendung. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Wer TV schauen möchte, es gibt keine deutschen Programme. In der Küche haben wir einen Messbecher, Toaster, Rührbesen und Deckel für die vorhandenen Töpfe vermisst. Der vorhandene Föhn war defekt. Die Gastgeber sprechen nur französisch, wenn man Glück hat, ist eine Nachbarin da, diese spricht englisch. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und waren überaus zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen. In Ponte Leccia gibt es Bars und Restaurants am Kreisel befindet sich ein gut sortierter Supermarkt (dieser hat mittags geschlossen). Das Haus eignet sich gut als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, ein Auto sollte jedoch vorhanden sein. Das Haus ist eigentlich leicht zu finden. Ein wenig Mut braucht es, da man über eine sehr kleine Brücke fährt. Diese erweckt den Eindruck für Fußgänger zu sein, ist aber auch für PKW geeignet. In Ponte Leccia nimmt man am Kreisel die erste Ausfahrt, bald geht es über Bahnschienen, danach (1200m) kommt links der Abzweig nach Moltifao. Diesen nehmen. Nach ca. 4,0 Km geht es rechts nach Moltifao, wir bleiben geradeaus. Nach ca. 1000m ist rechts ein unscheinbares Schild mit dem Hinweis „Moltifao“ (auf gleicher Höhe, linke Straßenseite, ein Restaurant), wir folgen dem Schild nach rechts auf dem unscheinbarem Weg für 50m, dann rechts, die beschriebene Brücke. Überqueren und auf dem Weg bleiben. Nach ca. 300m links zwischen zwei Häusern durch (am rechten Haus ein kleines Holzschild Cafe). Nach 200m rechts auf einen Feldweg einbiegen auf diesem für ca. 800m bleiben. An einem schönem Steinhaus, (das Haus der Familie Guidoni, nach einer Linkskurve direkt am Weg) verlassen wir den Weg nach rechts, abwärts. Nach 50m ist das Haus erreicht). Calme et Charme

Nous vous conseillons vivement de goûter au charme de cette petite maison traditionnelle. Décoration soignée, équipement très complet, calme et dépaysement assurés. Le chemin d'accès se mérite mais en vaut la peine. Et n'oublions pas l'accueil sympathique, les conseils et la disponibilité de Chrystelle, une parfaite hôtesse !

Beau, calme, acceuil soigné

Un havre de paix, loin du bruit et du tumulte de la ville. Déco très soignée. construction en pierre vraiment typique. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps, mais la prochaine fois nous reviendrons allumer ce magnifique four traditionnel !! clin d'oeil aux propriétaires.
