Great spot! The best food a few blocks away
This was our first stop on a family trip. I have 2 teenagers and this was an ideal set up. Laura was a great host! Everything we needed was within walking distance: groceries, restaurants & the train. A lovely neighborhood outside the hustle and bustle of downtown with quick access to that when we wanted it.
Good value for our family of five
Close to the train, grocery nearby, a couple of good pastry shops nearby. It was also pretty quiet. Any place you stay in Rome, or in Italy, ask up front about any additional taxes. I've seen comments along these lines for other properties there as well. There is a 3.5 Euro tax per person per night, which bumped up our price by about 30% over the quoted rate, paid in cash upon arrival. Look it up on line, the tax is legit, but ask if it's included in the price wherever you stay. There were not a lot of restaurants nearby so we often ate dinner at home which is fine. We'd eat lunch out every day, wherever we were going that day so that was our big local meal. Laura is helpful and a good host.
Lovely flat and excellent location
My partner and our 2 children have just had a wonderful 8 day holiday in Rome and loved staying in this spacious flat. Laura, the owner, met us at the train station on the evening we arrived and escorted us to the flat making us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for Laura and she was easily contactable throughout our holiday for advice. The flat is only 5 minutes walk from Tirbutina train station from where you can take the train to the airport, metro to the centre of Rome and buses to other areas. Being so close to the Tirbutina station made this flat extra fabulous as it was so easy to get out and about every day as well as getting back to the flat quickly every evening when tired from a day's sight seeing.
Rome was hot ( + 35c most days ) and the air conditioning in the flat was a godsend making sure we all got a good night's sleep after walking around Rome everyday. We discovered a fantastic bakery called "Granier" just around the corner on the main street which not only had excellent, freshly baked bread but a fabulous array of fresh croissants and pastries every day - highly recommended. The supermarket and chemist are also less than 10 minutes walk away so all very handy.
We were sorry to leave the flat at the end of our holiday as it had become a real home from home for us during our stay. A big thank you to Laura for all her efforts and making us feel so welcome in Rome.
it has been a pleasure meeting you.
hope to see you again. you have been a special guest I have to say. i have found all so clean and tiny. thank you for your help!!!
hope you will remember this visit of Rome as much as the previous one.
take care Janet
Great apartment in a good location!
This apartment is in a great location - very close to Tiburtina train station, grocery stores and shops. Great gelato just around the corner. There is a new entrance to the train station that has recently opened which makes it even closer to catch the metro. The apartment is clean and spacious. Most importantly the owner, Laura is a pleasure to deal with. Very responsive to questions and emails which is a good sign of a well run establishment. The air conditioning in the bedrooms works really well and cools down the entire flat.
Thank you Francine!!!
It has been a pleasure meeting you. You will be welcome anytime!

The apartment had everything we needed. It was close to everything. the train station, market, taxis and buses.I like the security of the building. It was very clean and comfortable. And last but not least was the owner,Laura is an amazing person, always willing to help with any logistic problems that you might encounter.
Yes, I would certainly stay here again.

Convenient, Quiet, and Secure Location
This spacious apartment worked out well for my family of 5. The apartment is right next to the Tirbitina train station and has access to the metro. From the train station you can travel direct to Florence, Milan and Venice. To get to this apartment you can take the train directly from the airport and walk 5 minutes. Apartment is located near a supermarket and is very secure. Laura and her brother were very helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Beds are comfy and they have a computer if you can't connect to the wifi. We were only able to connect 2 devices at a time.
The area is full of shops, restaurants, pharmacies. The university and the hospital Umberto I are less than 1km. Tivoli with its spectacular villas is about 20 minutes by bus.
