About Michèle Chesa
From the Mediterranean, we fell in love with this land nestled in the heart of an unspoilt calanque, sheltered from the prevailing winds in the middle of pine trees and white rock where the mineral and vegetable atmospheres live together. As the times goes on, this house reflects our life, warmth, and sharing. We are a large family and every one brings individual qualities to this villa, attention to detail in the decorations, cooking material and comfort, a special mention for children, tenacity for maintenance and welcoming, love for nature in the landscaped garden.
Michèle Chesa purchased this Villa in 2012
Why Michèle Chesa chose Ensuès-la-Redonne
As a 'recomposed' family, Michèle and Pierre, Cyril, Laure, Océane and Ambre, Damien and Nathalie, Lauranne, we would like to share this place that looks like ourselves, where the inhabitants of one week become friends and let a trace of their stay.
What makes this Villa unique
The main points of interest of the villa are not its typical architecture, and its isolation but the fact that this holiday Provence home has been keeping its unique, picturesque and kind of wild character. This land of contrasts, combination of earth and water, serenity and movement, gives to this land a living aspect.

An excellent home for a restful holiday
This was our second stay at this lovely home; we stayed 3 weeks this time. It was so easy for our family and friends to come and go because it's close to Marseilles airport and TGV station.
The house is very flexible and didn't feel too crowded with 10, nor too big for 2. There are many things to keep everyone amused - books, musical instruments, toys and games, (and internet of course), and now a nice new kayak to explore the neighbouring coastline.
Michéle and Philippe are the best hosts, available for every advice and support, from fishing to sourcing delicious local produce.
Nearby Carry le Rouet has many good restaurants and shops, though we preferred to cook at home and eat at the large table on the terrace, watching the sun go down behind the hills and listening to the gentle sound of the water in the Calanque.
We would highly recommend this home for large families and groups of friends, and we really hope to go back again soon.
A beautiful house with a lot of space and atmosphere. Especially the area outside is very inviting.
The offered service of Michelle and Pierre is way above average.
Our son said, he never felt like home so quickly.
You have a privileged interlocutor for ever meet your needs before and during your stay if you like.
A service that takes on all those household tasks (cleaning, shopping , cooking), tourism, oenology, gastronomy, transport.
Anything else you would like to enhance your stay in France.
This wonderful villa is situated in a quiet residential area, where the only noise comes from cicadas and the charming Scops owls. Everything we needed is a short drive away – shops and restaurants, fresh bread, fish, fruit, vegetables, meat.. and it’s a great base to explore the magnificent Côte Bleue, Provence, Marseilles and beyond.
The home had everything our family needed and wanted. It’s full of interesting things from all round the world, with lots of games and musical instruments and delightful surprises (nobody really mastered the unicycle – we’ll have to go back and try again). There was plenty of space for all 7 of us, with a big terrace for dining and lots of shady places to relax. We loved the cabin, the hammock, and of course the plancha for cooking up the daily catch.
The kitchen is very well equipped, and we missed nothing at all. The huge room downstairs doubled as a garage for the motorbike and as a grand place to sleep – how good is that for the biking enthusiast?!
Michèle and Pierre had thoughtfully left groceries, including all the things you need a spoonful of, but usually end up buying by the kilo. And the chilled wine was an excellent welcome on the first evening, thank you! They gave us excellent advice on where to go for wine, olive oil, to eat Bouillabaisse and more, and really helped us with every wish. We enjoyed the daily visit by “Le Chat Noir” too!
The villa is just a short stroll from a beautiful small calanque, where the sea is clean, clear and usually calm, and full of sea life. You can swim / snorkel round to the next beach, or you can walk to it over the hill.
Visiting in early July, we found the whole area wonderfully quiet, with very few tourists. This lovely villa is a perfect place for a relaxing , and Michèle and Pierre made our stay absolutely perfect. We can't wait to come back again.
The quality of the welcome, our eco-management , immediate access to nature and a decoration in line with our values form the spirit of the creek of La Côte Bleue.
Un séjour dépaysant
Un accueil chaleureux, un we entre filles dans un endroit merveilleux une impression de bout du monde. Merci !!
