Perfect House for a Family Holiday

Big spacious house near Faro 2 with Hiper Dino groceries shop. Beach is about half an hour walk or easy taxi ride (approx 4 EUR) away. There is also amusement center very close with rides for kids or as it turned out adults like us) and pool tables, bowling, space hockey etc. Fun for all ages. It's in a quiet residential area but some bars and restaurants are 5 minutes away with a main night life center about 20 minutes walk away.

Owners are very nice and organized people. All questions were answered prior booking and arrival. We were met on arrival and everything was explained in detail. Free late check out was also offered free of charge as they had no one arriving on that day - very helpful as our transfer was booked for 2pm.

House itself has everything you need. Clean rooms with plenty of storage space, washing machine (very important for us as we had kids), adequate cooking stuff, cutlery etc. Swimming pool bit cold but clean and very well looked after.

We would definitely stay there again.

Great accommodation and concvenient location

I recently stayed at the bungalow with my family - 2 adults and 2 teenage children. The bungalow itself is very nice, it has 4 double bedrooms and a single bedroom, plus 2 bathrooms. 2 double bedrooms and the single bedroom are on the ground floor with 1 bathroom and 2 double bedrooms are on the floor below with 1 bathroom. This worked well for us as the adults were on one floor with the teenagers on a separate floor.

The bungalow is well equipped with a full kitchen - hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, etc. There was a tv and music system in the living area with a comfortable settee and armchair.

Outside there is a lovely veranda with table, chairs and a barbecue. There were also sunbeds and cushions. There was also a washing machine which was very handy and meant we could cut down on luggage we took.

The bungalow is situated in a quiet residential area. However, the nearest supermarket was less than 1 minute walk away. Holiday World which is a local park with fun rides, bowling alley and restaurants is just 2 minutes walk away. Here you can also get taxis up to Playa Del Ingles, Melenoras, etc. Playa Del Ingles and all the bars, restaurants and shops is only a 4 or 5 minute taxi ride and only cost 3 to 4 euros. So for us it was the best of both worlds - a nice quiet residential area to relax and sleep, but just minutes away from the pubs, clubs and nightlife.

To sum up this is high quality accommodation in a quiet area, but only a few minutes away from all the action and restaurants you could want. I can also thoroughly recommend the owner Carmen who was helpful and provided good communication throughout. We would definitely return here in the future.

Vey nice house

A very nice house in a quite area. Very good access to the pool. Close to groceries and restaurants even if the nearby (former) shopping Centre Faro 2 has seen its best days.

A 35 minute walk to the beach and restaurants either in Maspolamas or Playa del Ingles. If you don't like to walk that long, take the car instead.

The reception by Carmen and her family was very good and all questions and issues we had during the week was resolved quickly. All you can ask for and more.

Definitely a place we colud visit again.

Casa con todas las comodidades

Estuvimos durante 5 noches en la casa, a la casa no le falta de nada, tiene todas las comodidades necesarias, además se encuentra en una zona residencial muy tranquila con lo cual te permite descansar al 100%.

Por otro lado la casera nos ayudó con todo lo que nos hizo falta facilitandonos nuestra estancia en Gran Canária

Good experience

In general the experience was very good. Communication with the owner worked extremely well and she was helpful and answered fast to the emails. The owner was welcoming us at the apartment when we arrived at night. The welcoming was warm and we could feel safe. The apartment was clean and well equipped and the surroundings was peaceful. The beds and pillows were good. The rent deposit was returned immediately after we had left the apartment. There were just a couple of minor faults: some of the bedsheets did not feel tidy (fortunately there was a washing machine!), and there were sometimes quite a lot of small ants in the kitchen. However, these things did not affect the overall feeling, and we can recommend the apartment to anyone.

Owner's Response: First of all, thank you for your sincere comments, and I am really glad you enjoyed your stay at our place. I would like to explain you that we have private cleaning service to which we could had complained for those sheets if you had told me, and they would had gone there in the same day for changing them. There are not usual that kind of mistakes, but they take care of them in case they happen, since we pay them for this. We personally check the house while is being cleaned and I, myself, do the last review very meticulously before our guests arrive. I did not realize of that, sorry. I assure you that if I had noticed anything it would had been solved immediately. Concerning the ants, you have to realize we live in a warm semitropical area. Sometimes we may have insects that´s why we also have a regular fumigation service that takes care of all kind of insects, but if any property needs an extra fumigation, the service would be done since their service is warranted, this makes the house free of any kind of insects. I feel sorry you didn´t tell me anything about this two things, although your expirience was very good if you had told me probably could have been more than “very good”. I really love making people feeling as much comfortable as I can and I try to explain it in our first meeting at the check in Anyway I am very happy and grateful for your stay Kindest regards, Carmen

Ferien in einem sehr gepflegtem Haus und Garten

Wir, 2 Erwachsene und 3 Teenager, waren im Oktober 16 für 12 Tage in Carmens Haus. Da wir sehr früh auf Gran Canaria ankamen habe ich spontan am Vorabend angefragt ob es möglich ist das Haus einige Stunden früher beziehen, was für Carmen überhaut kein Thema war.

Das gute Gefühl, dass bei der Buchung und dem E-Mail verkehr aufkam, bestätigte sich bei der Ankunft.

Das Haus fanden wir in einem tadellosen, sehr sauberen und liebevoll gepflegten Zustand vor. Wir wurden von Carmen durch das ganze Haus geführt und uns wurde alles erklärt. Dann gab es noch einige Tipps zum Einkaufen, Essen und zu Ausflügen. Zum Ferienstart lies sie uns zudem einen kleinen Begrüssungsapèro da, so dass wir schon mal was zum trinken und knabbern hatten während wir uns einrichteten.

Die Anlage selbst ist ebenfalls sehr sauber und wird jeden Werktag von Mitarbeitern gereinigt und gepflegt (Pool, Gartenanlage usw.). Die Bungalows sind offensichtlich nicht permanent bewohnt, denn unter der Woche sahen wir kaum andere Bewohner. Am Wochenende kamen ein paar mehr dazu, aber es blieb sehr ruhig. Parkplatz war meist genau vor unserer Türe, so dass die Einkäufe nicht weit getragen werden mussten.

Auch ein kleines Missgeschick unsererseits bei der wir Carmens Hilfe benötigen wurde von ihr innert kürzester Zeit zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit ohne Kostenfolge erledigt, dies Abends um ca. 20:00 Uhr.

Die überaus positiven Bewertungen und Beschreigungen der vormieter können wir nur bestätigen. Aus unserer Sicht hat Carmen für die Betreuung, das gepflegte Haus jeden der fünf Sterne verdient.

Vielen Dank Carmen, es war eine Freude die Ferienzeit in Deinem Haus zu verbringen.
