About the property

As soon as you arrive, you will be charmed by the view of the Vaucluse Mountains, the calm and serenity of the environment; no noise will disturb your nap. This peacefulness and the view from the huge terrace is really the best part of this farmhouse. The Provencal spirit and history of this stone farmhouse have been preserved. This House is first and foremost a family home, equipped (cookware and household appliances and gadgets like in your own home) to live with its many comforts (lounge chair for each guest), ideal for 5 couples, each with their own bathroom, privacy and 180 cm double bed. The house is also equipped to accommodate children and infants. A large wild 3-hectare landscape surrounds the house: it is not only a playground but also a place to stroll. "GR" trail near the property, marked roads for road cyclists and mountain bikers. Weekly or final cleaning prior to departure included, bed linens and bath towels are provided, pool maintenance and utility expenses included in the price. No supplement required; flexible arrival and departure days possible during the low season.

About Hissel

As parents of a large family with children and grandchildren, we wanted to be able to welcome our own family and provide everyone with their own bathroom. We equipped our home thinking of our own comfort: lounge chairs, inviting sofas and high quality bedding, but also for the comfort of our grandchildren, cribs, child specific dishes, changing table, high-chair etc. Lovers of good food, we are well equipped with all kinds of kitchen appliances and gadgets to successfully complete any recipe.

Why Hissel chose Luberon

In the heart of the Luberon and its beautiful perched villages, surrounded by 17 acres of land, a real old farmhouse renovated with taste in the spirit of its old stone construction and the soft colors of Provence. 12x4 swimming pool secured by a removable barrier when in the company of adults. The asking price is justified due to the geographic location, the numbers of rooms and the fact that each room has their own bathroom, toilet, and large 180 cm bed. If you want to "unplug", then you have found the right address, this is what our tenants enjoy.

What makes this house unique

Peace and serenity. Live in a large farmhouse that can accommodate many around the pool, 2 large tables, drink local rosé wine in a vaulted space dedicated to the table football game, but also a house where everyone will have the possibility to find a little privacy to read or take a Provencal nap before starting a game of pétanque.

40 km from the highway exit "Avignon Sud", an hour's drive from Marseille Airport where it is possible to rent a car; one hour by bus from Avignon TGV train station, Excellent location for bicycle riding on the marked secondary roads, mountain biking and hiking (there is a "GR" trail 2 minutes from the property). Take a family hike or one-day trek in the Luberon. Lake fishing, minutes from the property as well as a 9-hole golf course and tennis courts. Rock climbing walls and training, paragliding in the Vaucluse Mountains, many cultural activities in summer right across from the house, music and theatre festivals, an outdoor cinema any the many typical Provencal and farmers’ markets. Tourist villages: Ménerbes, Bonnieux, Gordes etc. Antique dealers village in Isle sur Sorgue. The truffle and lavender museums, visit the ochre excavation mines etc. Eat in gastronomic restaurants of famous chefs and on outside patios of the small local "brasseries". It is possibility to hire a private chef for a special gourmet evening on the farmhouse terrace (fantastic!) The nearby town of Apt has all essential services (doctor, hospital, supermarket, gas station, car repair, bank, bicycle and car rental, laundry service, market on Saturdays, and shops.
