Rated 4 stars * (very comfortable accommodation, high quality) by the Departmental Union of Tourist Offices of Haute-Savoie, the apartment combines tradition and modernity and can accommodate up to 7 people.

The duplex apartment encourages conviviality (living room on the ground floor) and privacy (bedrooms upstairs). The cabin (downstairs) has a window and fits 2 people (in bunk beds). If more guests want to enjoy this accommodation, 2 + 1 BZ high-quality BZ sofas allow sleeping for 3. The two bathrooms allow comfort for all guests. A ski locker is also available for use in the building basement. High-quality equipments for modern comfort (furniture, bedding, full equipped kitchen, wireless internet, flat screen TV, DVD player), a tasteful decoration and brightness all day long thanks to south facing exposure are a guarantee for a pleasant stay.

Notes:
Result of a recent renovation: Open plan kitchen well equipped (vitroceramic cooktop, multifunction oven, fridge + freezer, dishwasher), and many appliances (raclette, fondue and, pierrade (cooking stone), crepe maker, coffee maker, toaster...) are available. Groomed furniture (wall seat dining area, low cupboard for storage, comfortable sofa beds) and decoration. The apartment is equipped with a flat screen television, DVD and allows the use of wireless internet. The sunny balcony, south facing on the top floor, offers a beautiful view over the slopes (4 chairs , one garden chair and one bistro table available to enjoy it). Ski locker, for the storage of material, allows for departure (and the return) w/ skis on from the apartment building.

Great week in Avoriaz!

We have just come back from a great week in Avoriaz - helped by 5 days of brilliant skiing and boarding in the sunshine!

The flat is really, really well located, just 50m from the Prodains lift and had everything we needed. The galley kitchen is small but was sufficient for 4 of us. We ate all our breakfasts, most of our evening meals and none of our lunches in the flat. There was plenty of crockery, cutlery, pans, etc.. as well as a dishwasher which was useful.

The main bedroom is plenty big enough and the smaller (bunk bed) room is quite little. There are two bathrooms and non-stop hot water. The boot / ski room at the bottom of the block opens onto the slope down to a choice of 3 chair lifts - with two more lifts a short walk away.

The block was quiet in the evenings (we could make out some music at late lunchtime from the restaurant below). The walk into the centre of Avoriaz (supermarket, restaurants, village des enfants, etc..) is less than 5 minutes. There is a bakery immediately opposite the block, as well as a choice of cafes & restaurants that are open during the day.

We were made to feel welcome by both the owner and the letting agent in resort who met us on arrival. We were given useful information about the flat and the resort when we booked and there was plenty of good local information in the flat. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Family Apartment

Really nice apartment well presented and in an excellent location for the slopes. Ski locker has direct access to the slopes. Would suggest using the Prodains cable car if a getting a transfer from Geneva, as quicker and much easier than using the main entrance and taxi's/horses. Ideal for a family of four although we had six and it was not a problem. Well decorated and very comfortable in a quiet location. Will be booking again at sometime in the future.

Excellent Séjour à Avoriaz chez Madame Cante

Excellent Accueil à notre arrivée , appartement très propre et très fonctionnel avec une foultitude d'accessoires de cuisine et autres , il ne manquait rien , ça change de pierre et vacances .

L' appartement est très bien placé , au pied des pistes , prêt au départ sur tout le domaine .

Le fait que l'appartement soit en 5 eme étage est un vrai plus , palier séparé , nuisances sonores limitées voire évitées ...

La station est très agréable , piétonne , avec de belles boutiques et des restos sympa , une ambiance très familiale mais très dynamique .

Nous reviendrons .

Super séjour à Avoriaz - beau Duplex tout confort

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine de ski à Avoriaz ! Très bon accueil dans l'appartement confortable (nous étions 5 personnes) et chaleureux de la famille Cante, propre, très bien équipé, rien ne manque pour notre confort et même un cadeau de bienvenue nous y attendait (vin + biscuits).

Etant au 5ème et dernier étage permet d'avoir une belle vue dégagée et est préservé du bruit ! Très bien situé, skis aux pieds et proche de l'arrivée du téléphérique des Prodains ce qui est très pratique.

En face de l'immeuble se trouve une petite épicerie de produits locaux et approvisionné de pain frais et viennoiseries pour le petit déjeuner ! En face également un ascensseur public pour se rendre rapidement au centre village.

Merci à Madame Cante d'avoir toujours été soucieuse de notre bien être !

Nous recommandons ce Duplex pour passer de belles vacances à Avoriaz.

Un petit nid douillet à Avoriaz

Nous avons passé la semaine de Noël à Avoriaz et nous y reviendrons sûrement : l'appartement est très bien situé au pied des pistes, juste à côté de l'arrivée du télésiège des Prodains. Il est confortablement équipé et très bien agencé. Nous étions 6, avec suffisamment d'espace pour nos affaires et sans se gêner grâce aux 2 salles de bains. Il est isolé par rapport aux voisins du fait de son entrée indépendante, et c'est vrai que nous entendons le ballet des déneigeuses certains soirs tard et/ou tôt certains matin, mais cela nous rappelle que nous sommes dans une station de ski et cela ne nous a pas empêché de bien dormir dans des lits très confortables.

La propriétaire est très réactive pour répondre à nos questions et pour nous donner des conseils.

A savoir : le magasin qui vend des produits locaux juste en face reçoit tous les jours du bon pain frais, et vend tout le nécessaire pour le petit déjeuner (y compris le café chaud pour le premier matin si on n'a pas eu le temps de faire les courses !).

Appartement spacieux et extrêmement bien placé

Cet appartement spacieux et lumineux dispose d'une grande terrasse sans vis à vis disposant d'une vue exceptionnelle, il est de plus tout proche du téléphérique permettant un accès très pratique.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme de la résidence et les nombreux équipements laissés à notre disposition (nécessaire à crêpes, raclette ;...).

Après cet excellent séjour nous recommandons sans hésitation ce logement.
