Bright apartments in Vienna city centre, 2 separated sleeping rooms for 2-5 pers

This apartment is wonderfully bright, quiet and has been fully and with much care for details renovated only a few years ago. Apartment "Adam" has 60 m² and two rooms. It is extremely spacious for couples and also perfect for 3-5 people, especially if families travel together (there are two sleeping rooms).

The apartment is located in a charming and also newly renovated fin-de-siecle house (although the traditional facade has unfortunately been destroyed during WWII). This means, all the rooms in the apartment have typical features of fin-de-siecle-houses, such as high ceilings and traditional wooden parquet floors. Besides the traditional, but new wooden parquet floors, there is also a new bathroom, new windows and new electrical and heating installations.


Apartment "Adam" is situated in a very pleasant and very centrally located living area nearby the socalled "Karmeliter" market. You can even walk to St. Stephen's cathedral by foot, and to reach the first district, where all the major sights are located, it only takes you a few minutes. There are two metro lines U4 and U2 just around the corner (exit "Herminengasse" of station "Schottenring")

The house is located in a very quiet side street, so the apartment is very calm and quiet. The apartment also features high ceilings (more than 3 meters) and big windows, so it's pleasantly bright in the apartments. But of course, there are dark curtains for the nights in both apartments.

The commercial and shopping infrastructure is very good, there is a big supermarket around the corner, as well as nice restaurants and other shops close by. The apartment is also in very short walking distance to nice peasant's markets for fresh fruits and other similar items.

The apartment "Adam" is located very centrally, you can even walk to the historic inner city (5 minutes) and St. Stephen's Cathedral (20 minutes).

The Apartment "Adam" is perfect for a couple, a family (parents and up to 4 kids) or young couples travelling together. We can also add a baby bed, and there is WLAN and a washing machine in the apartment.

Why Mrs. Mayr chose Leopoldstadt

This flat is a "heart project" of mine. I have searched a smaller apartment, which would have been cheaper. But when I saw this flat with the beautiful and bright corner room and the big windows, and the sunlight filled the rooms, I could not resist but to buy this apartment. This dream came true some years ago and I am glad that the guests appreciate the flat so much as I do. The apartment has such a friendly atmosphere! I am always glad about the comments of the guests: All the guests enjoyed to live here! In addition to that, the location is very good, as all major sights in the historic inner city (first district) can be visited by walking. And for the sights which are not located in the city centre (like Schönbrunn castle or Prater/Big Wheel), you can take a convenient and direct connection with metro, directly from the station near the apartments to the sights.

What makes this apartment unique

Spacious, bright and quiet rooms and the very attractive location make this flat so special: It is located in downtown, in walking distance to the historic inner city and therefore within walking distance of many major tourist attractions. Nevertheless, one does not live here right in the 'tourist-bustle' but in 'authentic' and very pleasant Viennese neighborhoods. The apartment is around the corner from a big supermarket, located only a few minutes to very popular local farmer's markets and also perfectly connected to public transport: Two major subway stations and other tram and bus stations are located in the immediate vicinity. Moreover, it is those metro and tram lines that will take you directly and without change to main attractions which are not located directly in the historic city centre (which you can reach on foot, if you like).

The whole apartment, bathroom ... was completely renovated a few years ago. Located in a beautiful house from the last century (about 1910 built, revised in 2009). The whole apartment is in very good condition. The high ceilings of the rooms and a continuous oak flooring ensures distinctiveness and gives this beautiful and typical charme of fin-de-siecle-apartments. The bathroom is equipped with textured natural stone floors. TV with DVD: We provide many DVDs. The large dining room table comfortably seats 5 people, up to 6 chairs available. Internet connection: Wi-Fi (WebCube) without additional payment!

Comfortable accommodations

A friend and I stayed in the apartment for 10 days. It is conveniently located and the instructions that I received about getting there were perfect. So helpful to have good communication with the owner. One bed is where the dining room table is and the other is in the living room. Both were comfortable. The apartment is a 15 - 20 minute walk to the centre. The metro is very convenient though. The apartment really had most everything we needed with the exception of coffee and things like oil for cooking. A grocery store is just 3 minutes away and there is also a very good wine store around the corner. The apartment worked perfectly for us.

Great location and clean apartment.

My daughter and I stayed here for one week in July, 2017. It was our first trip to Europe and the location was excellent. It is a five minute walk to the metro station which also serves as a tunnel to the other side of the canal. We only figured this out after a couple of days and saved a lot of steps! The apartment is on the third floor with no elevator. It was exceedingly hot, however, after asking for a fan, the homeowner brought us one the next day. So for the next summer guests the temperature will be better! The apartment has everything you need and was clean. The bed in the main room wasn't the best but it didn't stop me from sleeping. It was noisy at night and you must sleep with ear plugs as the windows must be left open and there is a lot of street noise early in the morning. One evening there was a lot of noise past midnight.

My daughter and I felt safe. There is a grocery store on the next street which was handy. They didn't speak any English at the grocery store but we managed fine.

It had an old world charm and I would recommend this apartment.

Convenient and Spaciois!

We stayed at this apartment with our 2 teenage daughters. We were traveling by train so it was easy to connect to the subway system to get to the apartment. There are two groceries a couple of minutes walk away (Penny Markt and Spar) and restaurants in the neighborhood. The apartment is very spacious and in a secured apartment building. We were happy to find that the sites of the city center were easily walkable from the apartment but you can also hop on the subway if you are tired out. We definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to stay close to the city center at a reasonable price.

This apartment was very comfortable and spacious. It is located just a few blocks from a Ubahn station which made getting around town very easy. I definitely recommend this apartment.

Great location, very nice and tidy unit.

The flat is in a great location near the Augarten, with easy access to the U-bahn train line and also walking distance to city center. The flat itself is spacious and quite tidy, and has a lot of windows so you get plenty of sun.

This apartment is in best city-centre location, you can even walk by foot - only 250 meters to the so-called "First District" ("Inner District"/Innenstadt) and the so-called "Ringstraße".

There you find major touristic attractions such as St. Stephen's cathedral (ca. 20 min walking there by foot), the State Opera, the Museum of Fine Arts ("Kunsthistorisches Museum") the Museum of Nature History ("Naturhistorisches Museum"), the Imperial Palace ("Hofburg") and the Austrian Parliament, the Vienna Town Hall ("Rathaus") and the "Burgtheater". The Vienna University and the Stock Exchange, also in the Inner City, are also in walking distance from the apartment.

Children like the amusement park "Prater" with its historical Big Wheel ("Riesenrad"), and also the Imperial Summer Palace of Schönbrunn Castle, where they also offer guided tours especially for children. Both Prater and Schönbrunn are accessible with a metro line which connects the apartment directly to those sights. For couples, I can recommend the surroundings of the apartment with its charming market and beautiful small restaurants.

Please note that the flat is just around the corner from the underground station "Schottenring". This underground station has two Exits, for the Apartment you have to take exit "Herminengasse". This exit "Herminengasse" was only built some years ago, hence it is not marked yet in all town plans.
