The apartment, located in a small town house from the XVIth Century, is located in a small and quiet street of the lively and picturesque area of Trastevere, very close to the marvellous square and church of Santa Maria in Trastevere. Rome's gentle light invades all the rooms, and from the windows you can enjoy a panoramic view over the ancient roofs of the area and the Gianicolo hill. The newly restored apartment has been carefully and elegantly fitted by its owners (an artist and a cinema casting director) who also lives in this fascinating Roman district.
The apartment has wooden ceilings with beams, hardwood floors and boasts a living room, 2 bedrooms, each one with its own small bathroom equipped with hand basin, shower and toilet.
It is laid out to higest standard for a very pleasant stay.
A couple, a painter - sculptor and a casting director who love the beauty and culture of ancient and contemporary, who loves children (he has a son 10 years old) and animals (he has a Spinone Italian called Pamina in honor of Mozart's Magic Flute).
Annamaria and Andrea purchased this apartment in 2010
We bought this house for our son when he grows up, is in the heart of Trastevere near our house on the square of Santa Maria in Trastevere
and then it's really nice, quiet and full of light. We researched many months before he found it, and we chose the most beautiful that there was for sale at this time
My family and I stayed at this apartment for three nights. The location was wonderful, right in the heart of many restaurants, shops, pubs, etc.
Thank you Andrea and Anna Maria for sharing your very cute, comfortable and perfectly located apartment with we four older travelers from Australia.
Loved the way the sun poured in and the breeze could be manipulated to suit us.
A tight squeeze in the bathroom but plenty of hot water.
Also great to be able to turn the heating on. The spring weather was wet and cold at times.
The stairs were not a problem (and one of us is 70 years old),
We have been to Rome several times and this has been the best accommodation for location, comfort, price and enjoyment.
Happy to recommend this apartment to anyone.

We absolutely loved the apartment and the location could not have been better. We felt very safe walking in the daytime as well as evenings. Lots of restaurants, shops, cafés and bars in the area. The maps they provided us were very helpful and we walked to most tourist attractions.
This apartment is on the 3rd floor and has approx 60 steps (no elevators) however we needed to exercise after eating the many cornettos (chocolate croissants) and gelatos.
We loved everything about this apartment; the kitchen had everything we needed, bedrooms have air conditioning, owners personal art and beautiful antique furniture. We also had access to Wifi.
We arrived a little late but Irena was very patient & provided us with the keys and map of area. Irena and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely come back and stay there and recommend this place to all our friends and family.
Hope to see you again soon!
Thank you very much for the time being in Rome. We did like very much the apartment – it is cozy and lovely and surroundings as well, everything was perfect and even my mama 78 years old overcame 32 steps to get home every day. There are shops, bars, restorants, vegetable market everything are close to the apartment. The map is useful and nice gift from Andrea. By evenings we liked to read albums and books with your shows and beutiful pictures.
Irina also was very helpful and very nice person!
Absolutely lovely apartment!! In the heart of everything, and yet out of earshot from the late nights. When we'd get in at night, we could hear the wonderful music, but not any of the hustle on the street. We did have an issue with the internet, but Andrea said it is being addressed. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends!!! It was my birthday week and one of my best birthdays ever!! It was also wonderful for my mom to have Santa Maria around the corner!! 5 stars!!
