nice traditional Canarian house superbly located next to the beach

The house is superbly located next to the beach, accessible via a gate through the rear.

The beach is literally at the end of the back garden although we do feel that with a few adjustments, it could be so much better.

To get to the gate to the beach you need to walk 20 yards along a a narrow path of sandal splitting black stones, meaning that the beach is actually hidden from view from the back garden, which is where the sundbeds and chairs are located.

Shame really to be so close to an amazing view, and yet keep it hidden.

There is a roof terrace in which you can enjoy the ocean view but we chose to not use it as it was in need of tidying and a fresh lick of paint.

The house itself was as described, a traditional property with lots of quirky touches, such as a large fire place.

The advert actually shows 2 separate properties, meaning that we were slightly disappointed to not have a few things that we apparently in the "other" one, such as a washing machine, iron, ironing board and fans.

The ironing board was brought round a few days later when requested but the fans were not.

All in all, the house was nice and the location was fantastic but with a little imagination, it could be alot better and would also be able to command a much higher nightly fee.

everything went to plan, met lady on arrival who showed us all the keys, etc. apartment location is one if not the best feature. nice 10 min stroll to main street, down the gate on to the beach, or left out of road down to flag beach - 30 min sstroll. so many places to eat with great prices, weather fab and for thos ewho love the sun you will adore the terrace - completely private, fab views and a hidden gem. pricey villas all around you so very nice area, but so quiet at night, would definately book again no hesitation.

A perfectly situated, comfortable, peaceful little home from home with a lovely welcoming host.

This was our second stay at GranPlaya23. We love staying here. After visiting Corralejo for many years we've found the perfect location. The little path from the secluded garden takes you straight on to a quiet part of the beach. Early in the morning it's almost deserted and you can sometimes catch a beautiful sunrise. Although the house is very quiet and peaceful a five minute walk takes you right to the shops and restaurants of Corralejo. The apartment itself has a surprisingly big lounge and bedroom. Very comfortable! The kitchen is tiny. I wouldn't choose to cook much in it but it's clean and tidy and, if you want to cook, there's also a nice bbq area outside. Gloria is a lovely lady. She takes great care of the house and of her guests and is very friendly and welcoming. She is also extremely patient with my bad Spanish! We will definitely visit again.

un'ottima vacanza!

Una piacevole sorpresa ritrovarsi in una casa in stile canario, vicinissima al centro e ai vari servizi, ma al tempo stesso tranquilla e riservata. Abbiamo soggiornato nell'appartamento ad 1 camera da letto, molto spazioso (solo la cucina un po' mignon) arieggiato e silenzioso, il solo rumore del vento e del mare dalla finestra ad accompagnare il sonno. Molto comodi gli spazi all'aperto, il patio sul retro e suggestivo il solarium con vista panoramica, anche se poco sfruttabile perchè molto esposto al vento. Accurata la gestione da parte della proprietà e cordiale la collaborazione con la gentile Gloria che si è occupata degli aspetti più pratici, ottima ed abbondante la dotazione della biancheria per il bagno. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo!

Fantastic location, great facilities - perfect!

We feel like we found a real hidden gem - perfect location away from the centre but easy walking distance to the restaurants and bars, supermarket, shops, harbour and, of course, right on the beach. We booked the smaller of the 2 properties and it had a great amount of space for 2 adults. We especially loved the conservatory type room on the side, where we ate our meals & relaxed as it cooled outside The solarium space on the roof was a real bonus to get the sun once it left the garden area. The facilities were just what we needed - barbecue, a couple of hotplates, fridge, freezer and WiFi (although it wasn't the best but it was sufficient). Gloria, who met us & showed us round, was really helpful and friendly. Couldn't recommend it enough & we can't wait to go back (even though we don't usually return to the same place!)!

Beautiful Canarian House

This lovely Canarian house is split into 2 apartments. We rented the 2 bedroomed apartment which has a large kitchen/dining area, lounge, a double bedroom and a single bedroom and a bathroom. Quite spacious and well looked after. The outside seating area is surrounded by a large garden with native palms and plants, we also had a large roof terrace that was in sunshine from sun-up till sun set, great for spending a few relaxing hours. The house is close to the El Campanario shopping centre where there is an excellent supermarket plus many shops bars and restaurants. It is also only a 10 minute stroll along the avenue to Main Street or you can walk along the side of the house directly onto the beach walkway. Gloria who helps to look after the house was very friendly and helpful and the booking process with Helena was easy and straightforward.

We hope to return again to this lovely place

The GranPlaya apartments are located in the best area of ​​Corralejo: Avenida Grandes Playas, just 5 minutes from Centro Comercial El Campanario and Corralejo Main Avenue, less than 1 km from the Natural Park of Las Dunas: dreamy beaches and sea, naturists paradise -

About 300 mt the Coco Beach and the SPA & Wellness Hotel Atlantic Bahia Real (5 star deluxe) in front of the sea, where you can spend a fantastic day enjoying massages and health and beauty treatments.

Fuerteventura is a paradise for sports in the open air: the sea and nature:

there are many boat trips, and many schools and center of surfing, kite- surfing, windsurfing and paddlesurf, for all levels and age.

In Corralejo there are several shopping centers, all shops and various proposals, in duty-free.

You have to choose from many leisure and sport: go-kart trips, quad or jeep safari in the desert, water park, go- kart track, mini-golf and Golf Camp, excursions bike, rent a bikes and moto, hiking and ride hors.

In several days of the week there are different craft markets in Corralejo: Campanario Center, Baku Center and the old Village -

And at night so many offers from excellentes fish restaurants seashore, or meat in the center of Corralejo, bodegas tapas, bars with live musicians acting (on Main Street Rock-Café and the Heineken corner Café) and many more, and at night in the famous Waikiki nightclub bar and longe. In the Atlantic Center for fun until the morning.
