The house on one level, consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a laundry room with space for beach games such as mats, underwater goggless, etc. a large living room overlooking the sea, fully equipped kitchen and terrace access Avenue and barbaco beach, sunbeds for sunbathing, a large table for outdoor dining under a tree, in summer casts a great shadow. Besides being able to shower outside under the sun after taking a bath on the beach, and stay in swimwear, return to the arena or continue with the barbecue if you wish. Ultimately be every day in contact with nature, in your own home.

Spacious, well equipped and very clean

This property is right on the promenade which stretches between Puerto del Carmen and Arrecife.For the fit this means you can walk from one to the other without crossing any roads! The owner is very friendly and helpful and the 'bungalow' clean, spacious and has many interesting books and magazines (though mostly in Spanish) There are several good restaurants nearby and it is within walking distance of Deiland, Mercadona and Eurospar, not to mention a cafe which sells amazing churros with hot chocolate.A brilliant place to go and relax! Health permitting we will be back.

I am so happy that I chose this villa.

My wife and I had walked up and down the promenade at Playa Honda a few times but we had never stayed there before. We, therefore, knew the layout of the area but we couldn’t remember details of specific properties. Having now stayed in this villa and had a good look around it is difficult to see that any other villa would suit us as perfectly as this one did. The deceptively spacious property, location and facilities are exactly as described and the place is even more impressive in the flesh, as it were. We felt at home immediately and continued to do so for our whole stay. Everything was clean and well turned out. It is obvious that the very pleasant and most helpful owner goes to great lengths to keep the place in tip top order.

The fact that the garden gate opens directly onto the promenade is worth its weight in gold. If you ever felt up to it you could walk on a decent, level and traffic free surface all the way to the old town in Puerto del Carmen in one direction and into Arrecife in the other. The promenade, the beach and the sea are, in themselves, a source of entertainment as there is always something going on. It is an ideal spot for watching the world go by. The villa is quite close to the airport and whilst this inevitably involves some noise we never found it a nuisance. In fact, sitting and watching these aerial comings and goings is another type of entertainment that comes free with the property!

One thing that we found tremendously useful was the fact that, within easy walking distance, there are plenty of restaurants to suit every taste and occasion. We particularly liked Salmarina which is only about 75 metres away along the promenade. The food is excellent, the staff are attentive and helpful and the atmosphere is very tranquil. We should also mention Pizzaria Guacimeta which is a couple of hundred metres away. We are not big fans of pizzas but this place is run by some very enthusiastic people who love what they do. They are prepared to cook some interesting things to special order given a day or two’s notice. We had suckling pig and it was delicious! The whole place is pristine and their food is prepared with great attention to detail.

There is just about every type of shopping opportunity within Playa Honda including the Deiland shopping centre.

I would not hesitate to recommend this property to others and very much hope to return there soon.
