The moment you enter the front door of our condo, #606, you can't miss the beauty of Maui. The view is breathtaking and the sound of the waves and the smell of the ocean is inviting. The Mana Kai Resort is located right on Keawakapu Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii. The panoramic view is wonderful for whale watching and romantic dinners on the lanai. The Mana Kai is on the border of Wailea and Kihei. You can walk for miles along the sandy beaches and resorts of south Kihei. Enjoy the beautiful oceanfront swimming pool and the oceanside 'Five Palms' Restaurant in a beautiful garden setting just steps from your door.

Our two-bedroom, two-bath fully air conditioned condo is ideal for families or couples. It is decorated Hawaiian Style. There are also 2 42in flat screen TVs for those times away from the beach. Being oceanfront is special, and we welcome you to enjoy our beach Condo. This is a non smoking property.

Cockroaches – Stay Away

I am extremely well traveled and have been all over the world. Upon entering the unit we found it to be slightly upgraded, but many areas are dated. At the price we paid we expected much more. The TV in the master was broken, air condition blasts directly in the direction of your face when sleeping (and can't be turned to another direction), screen was off hinges and the biggest problem is the unit was infested with cockroaches. I tried calling the owner, but she wouldn't pick up the phone or call me back. She did refer me to the person who helps her on the island and he did bring a new TV and adjusted the screen. When I say infested, there were 3 traps directly on the kitchen counter and 2 on the floor. Everyday we saw cockroaches and it was disgusting. Her helper tried to say the island has many cockroaches, but my family personally owned a condo in Maui and we NEVER had an issue. I personally had to speak to the condo manager and he arranged to have it sprayed. We had to leave the unit for 4 hours and all of our personal items were removed. Do you think this is what we wanted to do this on our vacation???? The owner agreed to give us some compensation, but it was only after I again emailed her (remember she wouldn't pick up the phone). My experience above is merely facts with no exaggeration. The question you need to ask yourself, is this the type of place you want to stay at premium pricing or any pricing? The fact of the matter is that they had traps everywhere so they knew ahead of time that there was an issue with cockroaches and didn't resolve the problem. Of course they aren't going to tell possible tenants as nobody would stay there unless the issue is fixed. Pick another place or merely call Doug, the manager at Mana Kai and he will set you up as he gave us excellent service to help us out.

We LOVED this condo and location!

We loved everything about this place! The main building was beautifully decorated and had a fabulous restaurant, deli, equipment rental service, activity desk, yoga studio, BBQ grills, and pool! The staff was very friendly and we felt the Aloha spirit here. We walked a few feet from the manicured, palm tree shaded lawn (with plumerias!) onto the best beach, Keawakapu! This beach was breathtaking! Beautiful! The beach was great for swimming, stand up paddle boarding, boogie boarding and snorkeling. This was a wide long beach, perfect for long walks! The condo was very clean, updated, nicely decorated and appointed with everything we needed including beach chairs and a boogie board. The linens were very nice and the beds were comfortable. There were two air conditioning units that worked great. The view was magical and we could hear the palm trees and surf. The owner, Kimber, is excellent and provided great service! We are looking forward to returning and will definitely stay here again. Mana Kai Maui number 606 is no ka oi (the best)!!

Phenomenal Place!

There's a reason this condo has 5 stars for each of its reviews. Upon arrival, the complex itself is well-maintained and welcoming. The condo provides an open plan, is well-kept and has gorgeous views. The patio, common room and one of the sleeping areas have breath-taking views of the palm trees and ocean. Additionally, the ocean is easily accessible as the building is perhaps 100 feet from the ocean. The complex has its own private lawn, pool area and restaurant which are convenient and wonderful amenities. Whether looking for a relaxing trip with amazing views or a place with easy accessibility to the ocean for a great trip this is a great place for it.

Amazing Experience!!

This condo was everything we wanted and more! The view of the ocean is unbelievable and we fell asleep every night to the sound of waves coming in. My husband and I stayed here with another couple and the space was just perfect for 4 people. The condo was clean, had two full bathrooms which was nice to have privacy, ample space for clothing/beach gear, a full kitchen which we used most nights to make ourselves dinner as well as a balcony that basically extended the living space as we left the huge sliding doors open the entire time we stayed there. Downstairs the pool is exquisite and and the water is always warm. There's also a grass lawn scattered with huge palm trees that is available to guests to lay out, play games, and just have another place to be if you're wanting something different than the sandy beach or the pool. Access to the beach is super convenient and feels very exclusive due to the amount of space available to the guests. We went snorkeling most mornings (and saw sea turtles each day) off the reef literally right next to the condo. We found out later that it's one of the best spots on the island for snorkeling! You can rent gear at the shops on the first floor of the condo if needed. We also found the expertise of Tracy (the concierge) extremely beneficial: she gave us discounts at a luxurious spa just down the road, at a Hawaiian Luau on the north side of the island, and gave us all the details and insider information to make it to the top of Mt. Haleakala to see that famous sunrise! The restaurant on the first floor was equally as wonderful as the rest of the condo. 5 Palms has a great selection of food and we frequently went to their happy hour lasting from 3:00-9:00 for appetizers and drinks! The location of this condo on the island is very central to all activities and attractions you might be interested in exploring. We rented a car and had a designated spot at the condo which was nice but we also walked to other beaches and small shopping areas in the cool of the morning. Overall, we couldn't have asked for more from this condo or from the owner. We will definitely stay here again!

Fabulous condo in an amazing location!

Everything about this condo was excellent! The condo itself was modern, safe, comfortable, and clean. My fiancé and I went with another couple and the four of us slept very comfortably and had an absolute blast! It was hot in Maui and there was an AC unit in the bedroom which made it much more comfortable. There was one king sized bed and a full size bed. Also, there was a pull-out couch which made it fun for late night movie nights! Downstairs was a fabulous pool and a superb beach. My fiancé and I kept talking about how great the condo would be for a family too! The location was probably the most key. So many great food places and a local grocery store. Our favorite dinner spot was Cuatro, we still talk about it to this day. I highly recommend this condo to anyone and everyone. :)

Owner is fabulous and great communication

View is amazing, and the sunsets are the best here. Right on the beach, snorkeling excellent, we swam with a baby turtle and its mamma right at the beach. Condo is clean and very nice. Kimberley the owner is absolutely fabolous, great communication, takes care of you and has great integrity. We would rent from her again.
