Why Robyn Barker chose Manitou Springs
This unique property once known as the Pine Hurst cottages was a favorite destination for many families coming to Manitou in the early 1900's. Our friends have always told us we should own a B&B, exclaiming that their stay with us is like going on a vacation. So we want to share with you what they have experienced. We want to give our quests more of a personal experience when staying in our cottage. You will be made to feel most welcome at the serenity cottage We are confident you will enjoy your stay.
What makes this Cottage unique
Whether you enjoy the peace and quiet of our mountain cottage with a good book and a tasty beverage, or you get out and explore Manitou's Hike/Bike/Running trails, canyons & mountain views, Manitou Incline, Pikes Peak, local breweries, great food, Yoga & TRX classes, mineral pool spa center, our friendly accommodation is sure to become one of your favorite destinations.

Nice little house, very clean and convenient.
This was the perfect spot for our home base to explore Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs. Robyn was great to work with and the cabin was clean and well taken care of :-). Would definitely stay here again!
Exactly what we needed
This adorable home was perfect for our family of five. The kids were all pleased to have their own beds, and surprisingly they all agreed who would sleep where! We arrived late in the evening and were relieved to discover the home was spotless, so we could move right in. It proved to be the ideal location for us: within walking distance of downtown Manitou Springs (or to the nearby shuttle stop, if you would prefer a ride) and only a short drive to the many fantastic must-see sights.
Cutest little cottage in Manitou Springs
We spent a girls trip hiking Pikes Peak and stayed at Serenity Cottage for two nights beforehand. It was the cutest, most comfortable place to stay and really convenient to the trailhead for Barr Trail. It was well appointed, has a large and beautiful bathroom, comfortable beds, and a comfy living area to hang out in. Robyn and her husband were exceptionally kind and extremely accommodating. They are genuinely nice people! I would definitely stay there again if I ever make it back to Manitou Springs.
Enjoyed our stay
We really enjoyed our time at the little red cottage. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and amenities provided. It was so nice to have the dishwasher and washing machine available to use. The cottage was located in an area that was close to downtown as well as many of the attractions of the area. The owner of the cottage was extremely helpful and available when needed.
Thank you for a great stay, and for helping the guys with your advice, etc., about the climb. You are a wonderful couple. Excellent time, hope to return again!
Walking distance (1/8 mile) to the bottom of the infamous Manitou Incline and Barr trail leading to the summit of Pikes Peak. 2 blocks to the Cog Railroad with daily trips up Pikes Peak. Garden of the Gods Park is in Manitou Springs and is a must for any visitor.
