Our luxury ground floor apartment is situated on the edge of a small, low rise complex.Unobstructed views of Alkamas Nature Reserve create a peaceful, tranquil ambiance in which to unwind.The apartment enjoys full air-conditioning for heating or cooling (payable locally), an open plan kitchen/living area (wall mounted plasma TV/Satelite & DVD player) offering stunning views. 1 double bedroom &1 twin bedroom both with fitted furniture, a shower room and a full bathroom.The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, electric oven, ceramic hob & full granite worktops.The covered balcony is furnished with a patio set. Paphos: Paphos is the perfect place to combine first class holidays with a walk through history. Immerse yourself in the archaeology, history and culture of Pafos and experience at first hand one of the oldest civilisations of the world.

Pafos became the capital of Cyprus under the successors of Alexander the Great - the Ptolemies and in those days its harbour was a busy, thriving port. It continued as the island's first city for more than seven centuries, retaining its importance under Roman rule . Its most famous Governor, Sergius Paulus, was converted to Christianity by St Paul in 45 AD. But Pafos history dates back a great deal further. In fact the whole area abounds in historical and archaeological treasure.

Capital of the west and positively teaming with history is Pafos, site of the island's second international airport. The resort town has as its focal point a charming fishing harbour near Pafos Fort, lined with open-air cafés and taverns that serve a tempting menu.

About Peyia: Peyia is situated about 15km away from Paphos Town and 3km away from Coral Bay. Peyia is a very much sought after location and is set in the hills behind the very popular Coral Bay. Although the village offers a few restaurants and bars, banks and supermarkets, it has not been totally invaded by tourism.

Peyia’s steep position guarantees fantastic views of Coral Bay and surrounding areas from almost wherever you happen to be. Ayios Georgios Basilica and the fountains of Peyia. 4.5km from the village, are the ruins of two early Christian basilicas with mosaic floors. Peyia village is famous for its fountains in the stone-paved village square. Peyia is well situated for exploring the western side of Cyprus. It offers easy access to the Akamas peninsula, with its spectacular landscapes, deserted sandy beaches and conservation projects. To the north of Peyia, many roads meander through the hills and then down to Polis and Latchi.

Coral Bay: 11 kilometres (15 minutes drive) to the north of Paphos and 3 kilometres below the friendly, hillside village of Peyia is Coral Bay, the best natural beach in the area. This is an established resort above a wide curve of golden sand. The summer heat is often tempered by a gentle breeze, the sea has a shallow margin where children may play safely and, in the busier months, water sports on offer include pedaloes, water skiing, banana boats, wet bikes and windsurfing.

Close by the Bay you will find four large hotels, banks, car hire firms, mini markets for provisions and souvenirs, bars, restaurants and other shops. For casual alfresco meals, a couple of bars/snack bars overlooking the sea and a large restaurant in the next bay are open during the day. More tavernas and local shops are a short drive away.

We stayed for almost all of the month of March. It was lovely to enjoy warm weather and sunshine rather than the snow that fell in most of the UK. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well furnished and very comfortable. The property managers were helpful and reliable. We enjoyed the peaceful complex and have good memories of sitting on the balcony, enjoying the sun listening to the goat bells. We also enjoyed the bowling green. After arriving home, our security deposit was quickly received. We would recommend this apartment to family and friends.

  • Both rooms are fully tiled. The shower room is furnished with a walk in shower rather than a regular enclosure.. This provides for ample showering space. Luxury Egyptian cotton towels are provided along with beach/pool towels. Bathmats are also supplied. Having two bathrooms offers a greater degree of privacy for two couples sharing or for a family group. It is also much more convenient when sharing with children or teenagers!

  • Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, oak bedside tables with bed side lamps and air conditioning units. Both rooms feature co-ordinate bed linen and curtains lined with blackout fabric. Each bedroom has a window fitted with a flyscreen so that you can enjoy the breeze and not the minibeasts! There is a small safe in the double bedroom. There is also an oak dressing table with a mirror above. A sofa bed in the lounge, complete with luxury memo flex mattress, accommodates up to two people. We have two sets of bowls and a jack along with squash racquets and balls for guests to use.

Our British property managers will meet you in the village, if you arrive before 5pm. You can follow them up to Peyia where they will show you around the apartment and provide you with useful local information. If you arrive after 5pm, the meet and greet will happen the next morning at the apartment. In addition, you will be provided with a 24 hr contact number for any assistance you may require during your holiday. A welcome pack is included in the rental. If you wish for an extensive grocery pack, then please contact us. We will arrange for our property management company to organise this before you arrive. They also provide very competitive rates for hiring baby equipment. Do remember that bath and hand towels are provided. We also provide beach towels. This means that you do not have to pack these bulky items. No extra charges for pre-arrival or standard end of rental cleaning - this is all included. NB: if extra cleaning is required, you will be liable for the additional cost.

Unfortunately the property is not as made out with certain facilities not as described. Smart TV with did not have access to certain UK channels, weak intermittent wifi. Apartment is smaller than photos make out. Sofa's heavily stained, double bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The pool area is also tired, with some parts needed some work, bridge over pool very rusty and unattractive. Pool unfortunately full of flies and insects, not sure if they had maintenance - only saw one person doing pool cleaning or maintenance in the entire 10 days there. Overall the photo's appear to be taken quite a few years back, and not true reflection of either the complex or the apartment now. Requires some TLC all around. On a plus side the neighbours around the complex were friendly and Pegia Coral Bay was nice to visit.

Owner's Response: Unfortunately, your holiday did not get off to a good start when you arrived without the rental payment, as previously agreed. After your departure, my property manager billed me for an excessive cleaning charge which I passed to you, along with a copy of the departure report. This may have soured your experience... All English Free View channels are available on the Smart TV. Obviously there are no Sky channels. The free wifi has never been a cause for concern previously. Our property manager assures me that it is perfectly adequate for normal use. Our apartment is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment which is ideal for four guests. Your party consisted of six guests and I did inform you that this would necessitate the use of the sofabed in the living area. Obviously this takes up space. Non of our photographs show the sofabed in use. A three bedroomed apartment or villa would have been more roomy for your family of six. The sofas were in good, clean order after our previous guests departed but the arms did require steam cleaning after your departure (I did not charge you for this as four young children can be messy). Our double bed does have a firm mattress, which is our preference. I'm sorry you found this uncomfortable. Peyia Valley Owners Association, who monitor the maintenance of the complex, consists of mainly resident owners. They have confirmed that during July and August the pool is cleaned every three days and the water quality is independently tested. The records of the pool cleaning and testing are displayed in the community room for all to see. The pool bridge is scheduled for repainting this year. As with any property or complex, we do have a planned programme of maintenance and have to prioritise the order in which jobs are commissioned. Many residents/guests have commented on how lovely the gardens are looking and how pleased they are with the cleanliness of the whole complex. Resident owners out number holiday makers on our complex and that contributes to a very quiet pool area, even in July and August. Our neighbours take pride in their surroundings because it is their permanent home. We take great pride in our apartment and the level of service provided by our property manager. I am truly sorry that you had some disappointments but glad to read you found our lovely neighbours friendly and you enjoyed the beautiful villages of Peyia and Coral Bay.

Our longest stay yet!

Big thank you to Deb and Tony for the wonderful extended break at Apartment Anastasia. We have stayed at the apartment on many occasions in the past and decided to have an extended stay from March until the end of April. The apartment proved to be ideal as the location is perfect for strolling into the main village of Peyia for provisions or a night out. We would certainly recommend this apartment for any length of stay.

Wonderful Apartment, fantastic holiday..

After a nice easy drive to Peyia we met Max in the village, and we followed him to wonderful apartment . The photos do not do it justice you have to be there to appreciate the quality of the apartment and the furnishings. Plenty of space, 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plenty of wardrobe space , excellent furnishings in the living area 2 very comfy sofas, a large dining table , and a luxury kitchen with everything you need for a self catering holiday, the large balcony was well furnished with lovely views of the Akamas reserve.

Watching the goats early on a morning with there tinkerling bells start to graze then late evening watching them return was a nice site to see with a refreshing drink after a hot days exploring. The complex itself has everything you need, large swimming pool, jacuzzi, squash court , table tennis, gym, sauna and even a Bowling green, what more do you need!. In The village there a selection of restaurants to feast on I used trip advisor to find me the best restaurants in Peyia and coral Bay Area and went to most of the them. The best for me personally was Oniro's by the sea with the ship wreck. Stunning location and food .. All in all a wonderful holiday spent in a beautiful apartment . Hope to be returning guests in near future. Oh and a big thank you to Max who sorted the wifi out for us.

Appartement offrant de très bonnes prestations. Très bon accueil. Propres, moderne. Un balcon ouvrant sur un paysage de rêve. Des Britanniques vivent à l'année dans le complexe. Une belle plage de sable fin à quelques kilomètres (Coral Bay). Dans le village, des restaurants typiques (Chez le Cousin) et pas cher (moins de 50 euros pour 4 personnes, avec un plat copieux et une boisson + dessert offert). Grand sens du service.

Deb &Tom,It was exactly as described and some.people in the apartments so friendly and helpful a good mixture,the pool area never over crowded,the apartment spotless a thanks to max & rhian anything you need to know ask max nothing to much.liked the flexcy time on leaving,where possiable.we will defenitly be back.go into the village everything you need,meals in meals out loads of bars mix with the locals all in all agreat time the views are something else.we would recommend this holiday to friends and family again a thanks to all on team anastacia.we will be back.

In Peyia village there are banks, bakeries, shops, supermarkets and several tavernas. Peyia is only a 5 minute drive to beautiful Coral Bay with its extensive facilities and glorious beaches. Peyia is a small traditional village overlooking Coral Bay and the coastline. Paphos harbour and town, including it's popular water park, can be easily reached within 20 minutes drive. Further North lie the exclusive areas of Polis and Latchi, where a more restful pace of life can be found (around 30 minutes drive). A car is essential to fully access the amenities of this area. Contact us if you require details of car hire companies operating at the airport. Winter holidays in Cyprus are popular: November temperatures average at around 25 degrees with December averaging around 20 degrees.

Other Activities: Go-karting, archaeological sites nearby, Akamas Nature Reserve, Lara Bay (famous for it's turtles), Baths of Aphrodite.

Golf: Paphos is the new jewel in the crown for golf. It offers golfers challenging world class champion course, warm hospitality and almost all year round sunshine. There are three 18-hole courses to choose from:

Tsada Golf Club is approximately 25 mins away and is on an elevated position 550 metres above sea level to ensure cool breezes during the summer months. It plays to a par of 72 and measures 6,060 metres.

Secret Valley Golf Club is 18 km east of Paphos and lies within a scenic valley offering panoramic views. It plays to a par of 72 and measures 6,020 metres.

Aphrodite Hills Golf Club is 17 km east of Paphos. It's a championship standard course, plays to a par of 70/71 and measures 6,232 metres.

We have kept our rates as low as possible. Air conditioning is charged separately at a rate of 3 Euros per day per unit.
All pre arrival and post departure cleaning is included.. However, if the apartment requires additional cleaning to the usual turn around clean, you will be charged for the overtime as charged by the cleaning company. Please sweep floors and empty bins before you depart, leaving the apartment tidy and ready for the cleaning team.
