Wonderful house for touring Connemara

  • 4 of 5

Glenbricken House is a comfortable house in a peaceful setting with beautiful views while only being a few minutes drive into Clifton. Anne was so welcoming and helpful with any questions or needs we had. Peat fires on chilly evenings were such a treat. We would definitely go back especially for the seafood chowder at Mitchell's!

Beautiful Connemara Cottage Outstanding Views

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was immaculate, spacious, quiet and well equipped. We were a group of 5 and had a very enjoyable stay.

The area was very peaceful with beautiful views of Sreamstown Bay, Glenbrickeen Lake & the 12 Bens Mountains. Glenbrickeen House is only a stones throw from Clifden town and we had no issue getting taxis home after many dinners/nights out including delicious seafood and traditional Irish Music in the pubs of Clifden.

We would definitely come back. Great base for people touring/sightseeing/hill walking in Connemara. Outstanding value for what you get.
