House completely renovated in 2012 but has retained the characteristics of the mountain houses (stone walls, ceilings with wooden beams, fireplace, etc ...). The accommodation consists of 2 double bedrooms, an entrance hall with kitchenette, bathroom with shower and a living room with fireplace and sofa bed. The courtyard and barbeque on the back allow you to spend long evenings outdoors in the cool of the Apennines (maximum temperatures in summer are unlikely to exceed 27 ° C). On the back of the house there is a land of one hectare unfenced and you can spot deer and wild boar. The place is very quiet but not isolated, ideal for a relaxing holiday. A few minutes drive there is the Lakes Regional Park Suviana and Brasimone, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Mouth of Rio and after reaching the convenient motorway (10 min.) You can choose to visit the Emilia Romagna or they can Tuscany to appreciate its beautiful villages and taste the delicacies. The accommodation is situated halfway between Bologna and Florence (50 minutes by car). Nearby you can take walks in the woods of chestnut and fir trees.
Take the A1 (Milan / Naples) and exit at Pian del Voglio, then follow the signs for Castiglione dei Pepoli and from there continue to Prato, after 5 km you will reach your destination. (10 km from the motorway exit)
Restaurants serving regional cuisine nearby accommodation and near Lake Brasimone where you can fish and relax on the shores of it and, from which some CAI paths that will lead you to the vision of spectacular scenery. About 20 km away is the Lake Suviana with countless opportunities for recreation, you can rent canoes (at Oasis Lucy) and sailboats (www.velauispsuviana.it), you may decide to relax in the sun on the shores of the lake or try the thrill of rafting, canyoning or hydro-(www.riverland.it).
On the eastern shore of the lake there is the Adventure Park Saltapicchio (www.forestavventura.it/1/parco_avventura_saltapicchio_3028113.html) equipped with numerous trails for kids and adults starting point for walking, hiking (over 30 km of trails suitable for hiking) and mountain biking.
