Hi, friends! My name is Vicente and I was born in Valencia in 1966. I'm married with two kids. I'm very fond of classical music and -specially- of classic and flamenco guitar, of classic cinema, photography and jazz, and I'm running a beautiful jewelry with my family ( I'm delighted with my new 'job' renting this apartment. That allows me to meet very diferent and lovely people from all over the world, making it a very enriching experience. I hope you are next to enjoy my little corner at Barrio El Carmen in Valencia. You won't regret!!

VICENTE BIENDICHO purchased this studio in 1925

Why VICENTE BIENDICHO chose Valencia City

This is the first living place of our family in Valencia, dating from 1925. Lots of nice stories have happened inside its walls and we just want you to apprehend some of the happiness we shared there. We refurbished it completely recently to make it perfectly comfortable for you. You are very welcome!!!

Perfect place!

Vicente's apartment is beautiful with all the amenities for a very comfortable stay in Valencia. He was very helpful in pointing out highlights of the city. For us, the location was great and very accessible to sights, food and local culture. We are not bikers, but if you are, you can get anywhere by bike. We opted for walking and did use the bus to go down to the beach. I would highly recommend Vicenta's apartment and hope he visits Minneapolis!

Owner's Response: Dear Therese, I'm so happy that you could trap such a magic moment as the Corpus Christi parades, one of our oldest and most famous festivities. It's great your enjoyed our hospitality and get ready next time for bikes, as we've built more bike trails than any other city in Europe!!! Enjoy your Spanish tour and come back whenever you feel like. Let's meet in Minneapolis!!!

We enjoyed a wonderful apartment, located on a quiet street just a few blocks from restaurants, bars

  • 5 of 5

First of all, the owner, Vicente, is a dream to work with. Despite serious family health issues, he met us at the train station and drove us to the apartment. He told us everything we needed to know about the apartment, neighborhood, and places of interest. He provided a map and a bus pass. When we left, he reserved a cab for us, then checked the following morning to ensure it would be on time.

The apartment is quite charming, very nicely decorated. It has everything you might ever need and more. It is very clean and absolutely safe. While we were there, we felt as if we were a part of a very authentic Spanish neighborhood. It is good, as a toutist, to see what you want to see; it is still better if you also experience the local culture. And we did.

If location in propert is everything, then this apartment is everything. The street is very peaceful. But all the fun stuff Valencia has to offer is just several blocks away. We were able to walk to almost all the major tourist destinations in the city and such nearby neighborhoods as Ensanche and Russafa.

We would give Vicente and his apartment our highest rating. If you stay there you will not be disappointed.

Thank you, Vicente.

Thank you for making us feel like family

  • 5 of 5

We were on our 4th week of visiting Germany, Italy before adriving in Valencia Spain. While we traveled, we stayed exclusively in VRBO. Some of the stays met our expectations, others not as represented. When we arrived in Valencia, Vincente met us at the airport even though it was midnight. The following morning, I dropped my tablet and the screen shattered. What to do...I called Vincente for advise. He insisted, picking up the tablet for repair and returned the tablet later in the evening, advising me that the tablet could not be repaired in Spain. We tried to pay him for the ride from the airport and for his service and time with the repair of the tablet, he refused. By far Vincente's hospitality was awesome, making us feel like family rather than people renting his apartment. The apartment was extremely clean, very well apointed and a great location. I can tell you this is the very best place for you to enjoy your Valencia holiday

Vincente, thank you for such a memorable time.

Owner's Response: Dear Becky, it is not that you felt like home what I value over the rest of your words, it is instead that you made me feel my American uncle & aunt were spending some days in Valencia!! Thanks for taking such good care of the apartment and for trusting me after your "other" experiences before arriving here. All the best to you and your families and I hope we have the chance to meet again some other time. Sincerely, Vicente.

A lovely loft indeed

  • 5 of 5

In januari 2016 I stayed with my 3-year old son in the appartement. It was in one word: great. The appartement itself is clean, beatiful and cosy. It is situated on walkingdistance of allmost everything you want te see. Next to that: supermarket, pharmacy, park, busstops's all sort of around the corner.

Vicente welkomed us when we arrived. He is very helpfull and gave a lot information about the city, he was also very easy to reach during our stay. By arrival we found some lovely fruit in the appartement, coffee, tea and some slices of terrific ham. And for my little one we found three suprise chocolat eggs in the fridge. How thoughtfull can you be? That was really nice. I really recomand this appartement. Love to come back one time.

We had a very nice stay in Valencia. The accomodation is well located in the old town at a walking distance of all the major places to visit.

The appartment is very nice and quiet and perfectly fitted with everything you need which is quite unusual.

Vicente was a perfect host, very friendly.

We warmly recommend this property !!!!

It is very economical to take a taxi at the airport. You can reach the studio for about 20 €. You can also take the Underground (Metro) at the airport till stop number 10, Angel Guimerà (Green or Red Lines 3/5). Then, without leaving the station, take the Yellow Line 1 (to Llíria or Bétera) and get off at the first stop 'Túria', pedestrian exit to Gran Via Fernando Catolico-Botanic-Paseo Petxina. Outside, walk to the right along the riverwalk and take the second street on the right c / Dr.Sanchis Bergon. Follow this street until the junction with C / Guillem de Castro. Cross opposite to the c / Corona. After about 100m take the first street on the left, c / Beneficiencia. You have almost arrived. The second street on your right is your destination.

Right next to the studio you will find the IVAM, Valencian Institute of Modern Art, contemporary art international benchmark, but Valencia has many attractions for the visitor. In Plaza del Ayuntamiento (CITY HALL Sq.)and Plaza de la Reina (Queen Sq) there are the main Tourist Offices, where you can be informed about all of them. Do not miss the Barrio del Carmen (where you will be staying) at dusk and night, lively token of the city life, neither the magnificent Jardin del Turia, 3 minutes from home, where you will stroll away from the city bustle. In the Historical Centre don't miss the Basilica of the Virgin and the Cathedral, with its famous tower 'El Miguelete' on top of which you will get astonishing views of the ancient and modern city. Nearby it is also the Palace of the Marques de Dos Aguas, with unique examples of Valencian ceramics. And on the way to the port, the unavoidable visit is that of the City of Arts and Sciences and Prince Felipe Museum, with the magnificent Palau de les Arts (Opera). A little further there are the city beaches, Malvarrosa and Patacona, recently renovated, as well as the Marina Rey Juan Carlos, scene of Formula 1 racing. If you can go further, the recommended excursion is a visit to the Albufera (inland sea) and the Playa de El Saler. Visit and get completely informed!
