About VICENTE BIENDICHO

Hi, friends! My name is Vicente and I was born in Valencia in 1966. I'm married with two kids. I'm very fond of classical music and -specially- of classic and flamenco guitar, of classic cinema, photography and jazz, and I'm running a beautiful jewelry with my family (www.joyeriabiendicho.com). I'm delighted with my new 'job' renting this apartment. That allows me to meet very diferent and lovely people from all over the world, making it a very enriching experience. I hope you are next to enjoy my little corner at Barrio El Carmen in Valencia. You won't regret!!

VICENTE BIENDICHO purchased this studio in 1925

Why VICENTE BIENDICHO chose El Carme

Lots of nice stories have happened inside its walls and we just want you to apprehend some of the happiness we shared there. We refurbished it completely recently to make it perfectly comfortable for you. You are very welcome!!!

Modern and cosy appartment

  • 5 of 5

My partner Chris and I had the pleasure of staying at the appartment in this wonderful city. It was the perfect location to relax and unwind after taking long walks exploring the city. Everything is near by, including a wonderful little bakery round the corner which needs to be tried! Vicente was brilliant from first contact and even picked us up from the airport which was really appreciated. He also left us some drinks, snacks and essentials to get us started, and gave us loads of information on where to start exploring. The city is wonderful and the appartment felt like home for a week! My partner even proposed by the balcony which was just perfect! We are hoping to come back again and would stay here again if we do. :)

Owner's Response: Wow!!! Chris proposed by the balcony!! That’s a landmark for my dear little place!! I’m so happy to have been a accomplice for such unforgettable moment. Thanks so much for your kindness and confidence and, of course, it’d be great to host you any other time in the future. All the best and happy wedding!!! Vicente

Great apartment, great host, great location!

  • 5 of 5

Vincente and his family went out of their way to provide a comfortable apartment for us. The location was perfect, and we could walk to all the places we wanted to visit and found some wonderful restaurants within 5 minutes. This was our 4th apartment to stay in during our visit to Spain, and I must say I highly recommend this property!

Great Host

  • 5 of 5

Vincent is a greatest, taking the time to explain Valencia, where to go and where to eat. Vincent took the time and took me where to park my car, about 800 m from the apartment. The unit has two twin beds, which was ok and is among the nicest we have stayed in. The unit is located in a safe area, clean streets and easy walking distance to restaurants, the central market and other sites. Definite recommend.

Reccomended

  • 5 of 5

As others have said, this is a clean, well equipped apartment in an ideal location. Easy access to the sights and public transport. You can also hire bikes and on a whim, I opted to try the Valenbisi which is a good system but be warned the bikes are heavy to ride and their steering a bit unpredictable! There is a supermarket near by and the wifi is the best quality I have known in a rental apartment. Vicente is an absolute pleasure to communicate with. He responds quickly and is extremely helpful. He even collected me from the airport and his lovely wife took me back. All at no extra cost and this on top of the initial supplies that he left in the fridge for me. Other apartment owners could certainly learn a thing or two from Vicente. If I return to Valencia in the future, this will be my first enquiry for accommodation. Many thanks for your part in making my holiday a good one.

Perfect place!

  • 5 of 5

Vicente's apartment is beautiful with all the amenities for a very comfortable stay in Valencia. He was very helpful in pointing out highlights of the city. For us, the location was great and very accessible to sights, food and local culture. We are not bikers, but if you are, you can get anywhere by bike. We opted for walking and did use the bus to go down to the beach. I would highly recommend Vicenta's apartment and hope he visits Minneapolis!

It's great your enjoyed our hospitality and get ready next time for bikes, as we've built more bike trails than any other city in Europe!!! Enjoy your Spanish tour and come back whenever you feel like. Let's meet in Minneapolis!!!

It is very economical to take a taxi at the airport. You can reach the studio for about 20 €. You can also take the Underground (Metro) at the airport till stop number 10, Angel Guimerà (Green or Red Lines 3/5). Then, without leaving the station, take the Yellow Line 1 (to Llíria or Bétera) and get off at the first stop 'Túria', pedestrian exit to Gran Via Fernando Catolico-Botanic-Paseo Petxina. Outside, walk to the right along the riverwalk and take the second street on the right c / Dr.Sanchis Bergon. Follow this street until the junction with C / Guillem de Castro. Cross opposite to the c / Corona. After about 100m take the first street on the left, c / Beneficiencia. You have almost arrived. The second street on your right is your destination.

Right next to the studio you will find the IVAM, Valencian Institute of Modern Art, contemporary art international benchmark, but Valencia has many attractions for the visitor. In Plaza del Ayuntamiento (CITY HALL Sq.)and Plaza de la Reina (Queen Sq) there are the main Tourist Offices, where you can be informed about all of them. Do not miss the Barrio del Carmen (where you will be staying) at dusk and night, lively token of the city life, neither the magnificent Jardin del Turia, 3 minutes from home, where you will stroll away from the city bustle. In the Historical Centre don't miss the Basilica of the Virgin and the Cathedral, with its famous tower 'El Miguelete' on top of which you will get astonishing views of the ancient and modern city. Nearby it is also the Palace of the Marques de Dos Aguas, with unique examples of Valencian ceramics. And on the way to the port, the unavoidable visit is that of the City of Arts and Sciences and Prince Felipe Museum, with the magnificent Palau de les Arts (Opera). A little further there are the city beaches, Malvarrosa and Patacona, recently renovated, as well as the Marina Rey Juan Carlos, scene of Formula 1 racing. If you can go further, the recommended excursion is a visit to the Albufera (inland sea) and the Playa de El Saler. Visit http://www.turisvalencia.es/ and get completely informed!
