Bonjour j ai séjourné du 20 juillet 15 au 20 août 2015, excellent bungalow très bien situé très bon prix qualité presque pieds dans l'eau en plus de la plage les deux piscines sont à côté le propriétaire est brave homme il M à accompagné positivement du début jusqu'à la fin juin ai passé un super agréable séjour

Dirty and badly equipped

I am very fortunate that I have friends who live close to Kantaoui and I was able to stay overnight with them. If I had actually had to live in this apartment I would have been in despair. It was filthy. The toilet was beyond description. I had to go out and buy a large bottle of bleach all of which was gone by the end of the week. There was no sign a cleaner had ever been near the place. Ants swarmed everywhere. The plates on the ancient stove were so encrusted with filth that a vile smell permeated the flat as soon as they started heating up. There was minimal kitchen equipment and what there was was of the poorest quality. God help anyone who tried to prepare a meal there. The rooms are spacious and the views from the windows are lovely but everywhere there is dirt and neglect. The sheets on the beds had clearly not been washed since the last visitors left. It is such a pity because a minimal investment could make this into a really attractive flat that would leave overseas visitors with an excellent impression of Tunisia (a country I love) instead of making them feel deceived and cheated. I am not sure whose responsibility the neglect is. I dealt with a representative of the owner who may well be the only person who sees the flat with any frequency. He had the impertinence to demand money to pay a cleaner. I lost my rag and told him he was looking at the only person who had done any cleaning in that flat in months and I flatly refused to pay. He backed down at once and was most anxious that the owner should not get to hear how unhappy I was. It may be that this middle man is the weak link in the chain as my email communications with the owner suggested a decent person. Someone needs to sort the mess out, however. A new stove, some kitchen essentials, a new toilet seat and a lick of paint in the bathroom would do the trick if someone came in and bleached the toilet once a week. It could be a decent holiday home rather than one you just want to forget. Do something, Mr HB!

Owner's Response: It is very disappointing to read all the bad experience you seem to have experienced. I really wonder the reason you did not informed about that on you arriving day or the second day. If I have been informed on time, a solution would have been found to major claims and if necessary I would have come from the capital where I leave. I would check every point you spoke about. The main thing for me is all the renter should have good experience in the town and in the apartment and you should feel very comfortable in the flat. I am sorry, if you did not. Since 2 years I do rent the apartment I never had such appreciation and I would check these points. All the renters I had since 2 years were very happy about their journey in the apartment.

für einen Kurztrip unter Jungen Leuten ok, aber für einen Sommer Familien Urlaub ehr nicht, lage gut

Die Wohnung hat eine gute Lage, mitten im Hafen und man kann vom Balkon eine kleine Stelle vom Meer sehen. Die Wohnung hat 2 Schlafzimmer die sind ok. Die Küche ist mega klein und ich würde nicht gerne darin kochen, es ist ziemlich alt und nicht gepflegt. Ausrüstung gibt es, aber man muss von Salz bis Zucker alles mitbringen. Der Kühlschrank ist groß und neu und sauber. Das Badezimmer ist für europäische Gäste unter aller Kanone. Das Fenster ist so aufgequllen das man es nicht mehr schliesen kann. Das Blöde das Fenster ist in der Badewanne. Der Duschvorhang ist unter aller Kanone, der Wasserhahn ist lose und die Türe kann von innen nicht geöffnet werden. Das heist wenn sie zu ist, muss man von innen klopfen, damit einer die Türe aufmacht. Wenn man alleine in der Wohnung ist und die Türe zu ist, hat man absolut keine Chance mehr hinaus zu kommen. Die Wohnung war sehr schlecht geeinigt. Nachdem wir selber geputzt haben war es aber für 4 Tage ok. Der Mann der den Schlüssel gebracht hat und abgeholt hat war freundlich und pünktlich.
