A month of enjoyment in Guadalajara

  • 5 of 5

In January 2017, we spent an other month in Guadalajara with the same host, but in an other apartment than the one in 2016. It was as good as the last year one with all the advantages: good commerce around for everyday necessities, a market close by, every Tuesday, a bus taking you directly to the centre. We had a very large covered terrace, where we spent most of our time enjoying the warm and pleasant climate. Our host, was there for us if we had any need. We really felt “ at home “now that we knew our way around. One can be lazy (like us) or play “tourist” exploring the city, like we did last year.

No matter what is your choice, keep in mind:

Good value for the money!!!

This website forces me to write a review despite me even going. Cancelled with owner prior to arrival. Review of the photos look great. And the woman that I spoke with was very nice.

All the comforts

  • 5 of 5

In terms of value for money, my month's stay was one of the best deals ever. Besides plenty of plants on the very large covered patio, the furnishings of the apartment were much better than can be expected for a vacation rental. And the original artwork was a bonus.

Natividad was the ideal duena: friendly, helpful and non-intrusive. She began my stay with a tour of the neighbourhood and was always available at need.

Excellent experience,

  • 5 of 5

What a nice stay !! We were in February 2016, for the whole month, in this very nice apartment. It has a large and bright living room with kitchen area, a very large bedroom with plenty of storage and an unbelievably large terrace which is half covered . We felt at home very soon, and appreciated the safe, quiet and nice neighborhood of villas.

Good stores and restaurants around, and a bus line which takes you to the core of the city. The landlady, is what anyone would wish while being away from home: A nice lady, friendly, helpful, and prompt to any questions or situation.

We felt more included in the local life, staying in this apartment, which was important for us.

We might go back to Guadalajara for a similar stay, and we have no doubts that this apartment is going to be our chosen place.

Thank you for our happy stay in Guadalajara !!!!

A lovely relaxing stay.....

  • 5 of 5

My friend and I had a great 2-week vacation in this Mexican roof top style apartment. The apartment has everything you need from cooking essentials to Internet and flat screen TV with English and Spanish channels like ESPN and CNN. Outside the apartment door is a private patio with a table and chairs for dining alfresco or just relaxing.

Being the first time in Guadalajara, I realized that this apartment’s west side location is a preferred area because it has neighborhood parks, small tiendas, clay tennis courts, a weekly open market and easy access to restaurants and larger retail stores like Wal-Mart and Super Markets. We rented a car but really didn’t need one to get around the city. Natividad, the owner, was very helpful and gave us an information sheet with a bus guide and important facts about the area. Two weeks wasn’t long enough to experience it all and we plan to return in 2015 for a longer stay at Natividad and Francisco’s guest apartment. A special note: the owners are open to an apartment exchange, which is what we did, and they stayed in my VRBO Southern California apartment for 2 weeks.

It's in Guadalajara. What more could you possibly want? It looks great! Does it have an adequate front step for the October rains? I like to stand outside and watch.
