Appartmentfor 1or 2 persons,

We loved this charming little apartment, we stayed in number 9 and had a lovely little balcony. It was very clean and a firm bed with a fridge and sink. A cosy shower but great heat and power. This apartment is perfect for all you need in Nice. We were here for 4 nights and it is less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and nearby restaurants and boulangeries!! We had a wonderful time and really appreciated our host letting us check out late due to a late flight home. Maybe a little bit too basic for some folk but we really loved it!

The property was located very centrally, convenient for everything and was very good value for money.

The photos posted do not actually do it justice as the rooms are located in a very old and characterful building and the feel is very authentic. The lift is a delight if you like quaint.

Wi-fi does work, bed is comfortable and bathroom is adequate. The property was perfectly clean.It isn't luxurious, but you wouldn't expect luxury in NIce for the price. But it didn't feel at all like a compromise because of the character.

Marianne was very helpful and picked us up from the train station as we arrived quite late in the night. This was really helpful and unlike most other experiences we have had in more 'proffessional' settings where you not only have to find your way but are charged extra for late check in. WE were touched by the homeliness, authenticity and character of the place and definitely would stay again. In short, we think this little place is a hidden gem.

Marianne is a lovely host and I cannot fault her in any point. The property is a little dated but its location is excellent for the front at Nice. Within the hotel the lift is somewhat antiquated. The room that I had was again a little dated but for what I needed it was fine. It could do with a few more mod cons, for instance a toaster, microwave and a kettle rather than a coffee machine. You have a couple of pans and hobs so your restricted that way in how to cook. What I did find most frustrating was the wifi quality, non existent at times. The hotel location was handy enough for the front and for shops and although in a side street it was pretty quiet. Its about a 10 minute walk out of the main centre of Nice. The bathroom was a little dated and the shower curtain was very annoying sticking to you all the time. But again for what I needed it wasn't an issue. It went very warm in Nice during my stay and Marianne was very quick to provide a fan which was ideal and allowed you to keep the patio window shit overnight. The hotel was having some work done on it so unfortunately my balcony had scaffolding all over its front.

Overall for my budget I cannot really complain and my points are in the main minor ones. And Marianne was a great host and communication with her before and during my booking and during my stay was very good.

The flat is simple and very near to the sea & shops. The landlord is very friendly and helpful.
