Great value but ...

This apartment was inexpensive and well located for those with a car. The apartment came with free parking in the garage below the building. The concierge was friendly and as helpful as possible but did not speak any English. Fortunately one of our party spoke passable Spanish or we might have had difficulty checking in. The apartment was clean and quiet and we enjoyed our stay as we explored Madrid and surrounding cities.

The apartment has a smaller kitchen than may be evident from the pictures, no more than one person could be in the kitchen at a time and cooking more than one thing at a time was difficult. Also it was not evident the dining room is part of the second bedroom.

Some relevant items that might have been helpful such as salt, pepper, sugar, hand soap, etc. A hair dryer was also absent. It was several blocks to the nearest market and subway station. Since we like walking and the weather was nice we did not mind but others might find this inconvenient.

One final note, the apartment building is on a one way street that google maps thinks is two way. Be careful if you use Google Maps to navigate to the apartment.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comment. I agree with you on the lack of any object, such as a hairdryer. This year we bought 2 dryers, 3 duvets, 2 Scart, 1 lamp, 4 towels, etc. to replenish what have been tenants. Some people are poorly educated. It costs more the problem caused, the object stolen. we can not put salt, pepper, spices or anything edible. This forbidden to leave food or drink, as it is not known if it can be harmful to some people. The situation is very well detailed in the web page with the exact address. The problem is that it is an apartment (not a hotel), and the concierge speaks Spanish only. for that reason, it can not explain, which is just 100 meters there is a supermarket, and you need not take a long walk. and there is a taxi (Hotel Nuevo Madrid), Bus Stop, etc. at the door and it is very close to the largest train station "CHAMARTIN", from where you can travel to any city in Spain. together with the central Metro de Madrid. anyway, thanks to your feedback, we will work to improve service to our tenants. And hope that you return to Madrid.
