This is one of two apartments we have, the other being a two bedroom apartment in the same building. This one is a large 99sqm luxury apartment located just 150 metres from the sea, 15min from the South Airport and only 5/6 miles from Los Cristianos/ Las Americas.

This area is perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, with plenty to do and a choice of quality restaurants within minutes. We have furnished our apartment with most of the luxuries of home with particular attention to comfort. The master bedroom has a very comfortable Super king size (6ft Wide), Bed and in the lounge there are two quality sofa beds, one King size and one single. Other luxury qualities: Rooftop pool with fantastic views, Private underground parking space, Lift to all floors, Luxury En Suite Jacuzzi bathroom, with separate shower & twin basin vanity unit. A fully equipped Kitchen with, ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, Granite worktops, washing machine, iron, ironing board. For your entertainment a 40 inch flat screen TV, Quality Music System. DVD Player with over 100 DVD's, Hairdryer. Marble floors throughout. There are five Golf Courses within 20min.

The Seafront: The seafront is only a two minute walk away and has a promenade which lines the beach for over a kilometre. The nature reserve is less than 1/2 a mile away which is a wonderful coastal walk.

Golf in South Tenerife: There are five Golf courses in the South of the Island all usually in terrific condition, quite testing with beautiful views all within a 20 minute drive.

1. Closest is the Los Palos 9 hole course which is only 2 miles away, small but plenty of challenges, which is well worth a visit in preparation for the Championship 18 hole courses.

2. Las Americas (6 miles), a 72 par course with magnificent views.

3. Golf del Sur's (8 miles), 27 hole course which has hosted many International events can be very busy and you are advised to book in advance to save disappointment.

4. Costa Adeje Golf is another terrific course which has greens with several doglegs (could be handy for that slice or hook), only 12 miles away.

5. Amarillo is the fifth course (7 miles), which is another 27 hole course besides coastal cliffs again with spectacular views.

  • The en-suite luxury bathroom comes complete with jacuzzi bath, separate shower, twin basin vanity unit with cupboards and drawers for storage as well as a huge mirror above. The en-suite is beautifully tiled with marble floor. For those that may sleep in the Lounge there is a separate Cloakroom with toilet and Washbasin, mirror and Marbled floor.

  • The Master Ensuite bedroom has a Super Kingsize bed (6ft wide). There are bedside tables, two wardrobes (one with a safe), and a chest of drawers giving storage space for all. From the other side of the bedroom patio doors open out to a private rear balcony with table and chairs. In the Large lounge (19'x 15') there are two Sofa Beds, One Queensize (5ft 3in wide),and one Single (3ft Wide), These are of the highest quality and are simply pulled out in seconds. Please note there is a separate Cloakroom , chest of draws and a clothes rail in the utility area for the convenience of anyone sleeping in the lounge.

Notes:
There is a lift to all floors. Most of these apartments are privately owned and privately used which means that the Rooftop pool is very quiet indeed and very often completely private. Security is excellent with remote control for garage parking, locks for the pedestrian gate, top quality high security multi-bolted apartment door as well as a safe in the bedroom. All that said and done this must be one of the friendliest safest unspoilt villages on the island.

A truly fantastic apartment

You will not be disappointed as the owners description does not do it justice. Clive and Eileen could not be more helpful. Palm Mar is is a peaceful resort, but with some lovely bars, restaurants and shops nearby. We are looking forward to coming back early next year.

A wonderful stay in a very charming apartment

We caught a cab from the airport and where there with no bother in very quick time. The apartment was very clean and very welcoming. Clive and Eileen have left nothing out even to leaving a welcome gift in the fridge. The bedroom was large and en-suite with a very generous walk in shower.

The large terrace gets some sun from mid afternoon.

If you get the chance order the paella from the Flamingo Bar 1 day in advance, so woth it. Will go back in the future. Many thanks, Norma and Noel (London)

Amazing week of luxury

The apartment is beautiful with everything you need. Probably the most powerful shower we've ever had abroad - and the shower door doesn't leak everywhere like most places! The kitchen and bathroom cupboards were well stocked with cleaning products, fresh towels, even hand soap and shower gel. There's a fabulous CD and DVD collection and the wifi connection was brilliant - so easy to log on and keep in touch with family and friends back home. The icing on the cake was the balcony though - literally huge and perfect for chilling out on. The pool was reasonably quiet considering it was Easter. We tried all the local restaurants and can highly recommend the ClubHouse (English owners, great food and the nicest people around), Flamingos for some tapas, the SeaLounge (for a bit more of an upmarket meal) and Bahia Beach which is only a 5/10 minute walk down the road. We spent two days at Bahia Beach as it was only a 30 Euro minimum spend to get a double beach bed, two bottles of water and towels for the day. Once you've bought lunch and some drinks, it's easily good value for money. It is slightly more expensive to eat and drink there than other restaurants but they do amazing food combo plates and we tried the house red wine for 4 Euros a glass (bargain!) whilst watching the sun set and it was lovely! All in all, a wonderful holiday, and we really appreciated the fantastic customer service from Clive who emailed over instructions for the apartment/pool/wifi, directions and info about the local area etc when we booked. It really put our minds at ease. Thank you! Can't wait to go back!

Super location to get around the south of the island, quiet apartment with all the mod-cons

We have just returned from our stay in Palm Mar this morning and have all had a super time. The apartment had everything you would want - big balcony, super ensuite, and all the kitchen bits and was located right beside the beach. The owner Clive was also always very prompt in getting back with any answers to queries.

Very good communication from owners, apartment is as described and well equipped with everything in working order and it was nice to have the basics provided. Apartment is clean and is very near the promenade, although there is no real beach area, it is still pleasant to walk along and watch people playing pétanque. The area is very safe and there are sufficient mini markets and one decent supermarket, plenty of cafes and restaurants to fit any pocket. The rooftop pool is very quiet and was nice to relax around and take a dip, although the weather was not too hot, it would be a godsend in the height of summer. Both verandas were roomy and the quality of finish was excellent, the upkeep of the block of apartments is very good and parking was never an issue. Definitely a place to go to for a quiet getaway, would suggest a car just so you can go to explore out and about, but is not a necessity.

Absolutely Fabulous!

We have stayed in Palm Mar for the past 3 years. For the first two years, we stayed in the 2-bed apartment but this year due to us booking late only the 1-bed was available. Both of them are fitted to a very high standard, spacious and impeccably clean. What we absolutely love is that there is everything you might possibly need in terms of everyday essentials, tea, coffee, sugar, condiments etc so you do not need to splash out on a full shop. We always try and make sure we leave a stock of something for the next guest. There is a full collection of books to borrow, cards, DVD's and the list goes on so you never say 'oh I really need..' because it is invariably there! Both Clive and Eileen are very helpful with great directions, correspondence and we really enjoy our winter week's break every time we go. Palm Mar is quiet and residential and we prefer it to the hustle and bustle of Los Christianos. This year we hired a car which we will definitely do again as it was nice to have the chance to potter around the Island and explore some more. Las Galettes is a busy town just 15 minutes around the corner and has plenty more shops and restaurants to explore if you feel the need. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be back.

Only 15 min from the airport and one junction before Los Cristianos, Palm Mar is located between a nature reserve and the Guaza mountain being tranquil and serene. Los Cristianos and Las Americas are only 5-7 miles away respectively. This quiet area has very little traffic, has a number of restaurants, bars and 3 mini markets all within a few hundred yards.

For the energetic the location is Ideal for hikers, horse trek riding, surfing, fishing, sailing, swimming, diving, but is also perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday and to enjoy the beauty of the Canarian coastline. Golfers can take advantage of the beautiful, quaint 9 hole Los Palos which is just 2 miles away, complete with driving range, putting green and a lovely cafeteria/bar at the entrance. Palm Mar is central to the South of Tenerife which makes almost every attraction and cultural sight within easy driving distance. In fact you can drive around the whole island in just two hours.

Other Activities: Siam Water Park - Europes largest opened Nove 08, One of Europes largest Karting Tracks 10mins, Aqua park 15mins, Loro Park. In Fact there are too many attractions to list here. Have a look at a Tenerife website.
